and HOW dumb does Mihika have to be to say "Woh...woh Ishu Akka...woh mil nai rahi..."
"Woh keh rahe the ki...Akka shayad..." shayad what? ACP said, "Ishita kahin mil nai rahi" to be precise...does that automatically translate to "Ishita marr gayi?" What an idiotic, irresponsible thing to say about a loved one and scaring the others even moređĄ
And somehow the Bhallas looked more tensed than the Iyers...Madhvi clutched her face in her palm, Appa looked like he had been hit by a meteor...I felt the Iyers could've reacted more strongly...their reactions came late...
ACP gets a call from Mihika...she and the others want to come to the site, everybody is very tensed... ...ACP says no...Mihika pleads with him, says it will be better as everybody would be able to pitch in and look for Ishita...and it makes sense actually...I mean, more people looking for Ishita rather than just Raman looking helter-skelter...
"KOI MERI ISHIMA KO BACHAO...MERI ISHIMA KO KOI TO BACHAO" Ruhi's desperate screams rang out in the air...
God...RD killed it! Nailed it...the anguish, the desperation, the little bit of hope she had in her heart that her Ishima could be found...she was willing to let it all out there...Shagun looked shocked and dismayed at the condition her kids were in
She approached Adi and put a hand on his shoulder, gingerly...Ruhi glared at her, as if asking her "How dare you!"
The rage..the anger...the INDIGNANCE! "Aap kyun aayi ho yahan...mere Adi bhaiyya ko kyun chhun rahi ho?" she yelled ...Adi was flummoxed...use samajh nai aaya ki Ruhi aise kyun baat kar rahi hai...
"Jab aap aag mein phase the naa, toh Ishima ne Shagun Mamma se help karne ko kaha...par Shagun Mamma wahan se bhaag gayi" Ruhi told Adi the truth, as he listened with shock and a deep sense of disbelief...
"MAIN INKO NAI JAANTI" Ruhi screamed when the lady police inspector asked her who Shagun was...
"Yeh jhooth bol rahi hain" Ruhi retorted, when Shagun tried to clarify to the lady inspector that she was the kids' Mom...
"Agar meri Ishima ko kuch hua, toh main kabhi apna face nai dikhaungi aapko" This alone had the potential to reduce Shagun to a pile of ashes...literally...Ruhi's words had SO much venom in them...
AND THAT WAS WHERE SHAGUN ACTUALLY LOST EVERYTHING!
The Bhallas and Iyers came to the site...they are all panicking... the doctor says Adi is in shock, having just escaped a near-death situation in the blast...he was not responding, not talking...but I didnt get that bit...wasnt he talking some time ago, when he asked Ruhi why she was talking to Shagun Mamma like that...weird...how did he suddenly spiral into shock? Or was it because he got to know his so-called Adarsh Mom isnt actually Adarsh, from any possible angle...
Ruhi narrated everything to the Bhallas and the Iyers... "phir wahan pe Ishima aayi...aur unhone dekha ki Adi bhaiyya andar hain...toh woh uss kitchen mein chali gayi...Ishima ko darr bhi nai laga...unhone Adi bhaiyya ko bacha liya..."
"Woh itna bada patthar tha naa dadi...Ishima uske neeche aa gayi.." God...the flashback scene was heart-rending..I cant imagine something like that happening to anybody...its scary...I mean, its a show and so, Ishita is still alive...but its a rare human being who can escape such wrath of nature...
Bhallas and Iyers are in shock...
Raman looked so HELPLESS...My heart went out to him...he kept looking for his wife desperately...looked under the debris, on the stretchers...ACP tried to play the man in control, taking care of an emotionally broken and extremely fearful Raman...but somehow, his acting lacked smething...Maybe he was trying too hard...cant really place
ACP did piss me off at another juncture..Alright, you're trying to calm Raman down..but you're a Police Officer..how can you talk of GIVING UP till you haven;t exhausted all possibilities? I mean, in a quake scenario...just the ones who're visible and are taken on the stretchers arent the ones who have been affected by it...there are unfortunate others who are trapped beneath the debris...under the dust and piles and piles of cement and sand...Instead of cooperating with Raman and saying, ki "Chalo...we'll do everything to find her out" he was hinting that Ishu might have died...what an idiot..who does thatđĄ On his part, Raman was just not ready to accept he had lost his wife..to this cruel joke of nature...He recollected all moments that had tried and tested them as a couple, brought them together...The vows they had taken during the marriage...the saat pheras...sent goosebumps down my spine...the symbolism was stark and piercing... And when I imagine it, it really is heart-breaking...Marriage is no mean feat...the horrific thought of losing your spouse, earlier than you've decided to take on this journey of life...scaryđ
"Apne aas paas dekho Raman...jitne zakhmi log they sab hospital liye gaye hain...Ishita ab nai hai Raman" wanted to WHACK the ACP when he uttered these wordsđĄ
Raman kept saying, "NAI NAI NAI" He looked fearful, a nagging possibility nibbling away at the back of his mind, and yet, his heart wouldn't let go of Ishita this soon...in this way...KP is a TRULY A FAB FINDđ
someone yelled, "Yahan ek aurat ki laash padi hai" Raman and Ruhi caught on..
Rinki was trying to console the kids...
And the police inspector worsened matters by saying "Jo ladki itni der se malbe ke neeche padi hui hai uski saansen kaise chal sakti hain" Yeh kahan se aaye yaar/ Yeh saare officers? Even if the person is presumed dead, do you not go in to FIND them out and pull them out of this mess first? Or do you casually assume, "Arrey yaar, poori building giri uspe...woh toh marr hi gayi hogi..jaane do"
Ruhi ran out of the ambulance...to look for her Ishima...God...I ended up crying... "ISHIMA"she called out to her Ishima...looking up at the skies...It was filmy, of course..but I was crying thru and thru...all the FB moments...of Ishu and Ruhi came one after the other... At times like these, I get back to square one..My square one, of why I began watching this show in the first place..it was because of Ishita and Ruhi, and their unique bond which didnt need an umbilical cord to hold them tight together...
The words "Ishita Mamma" reverberated in my ears...Ishita tearfully hugged Ruhi tight...how it must;ve felt to hear those words from an innocent 6 yr old, who thought the world of her...and for whom, Ishu WAS her world...
In the ambulance Adi was uncontrollable...kept insisting that Rinky allow him to go look for Ishita...Somehow, Rinky tried to console him
Raman went to every nook and corner, looking for his wife..letting out guttural screams of'Ishita Ishita' every now and then...
The police inspector tried to contain Ruhi, and prevent her from entering the site...but she was uncontrollable...even Toshi couldnt get a grip on her
ACP and Romi on the other hand, kept trying to curb Raman
In the midst of all this chaos, Ruhi saw an arm, sticking out from under the dust and the boulders...
haath chhuda ke Ruhi bhaagne lagi...so did Raman... This was another scene which sent goosebumps racing down my spine
Raman made a dash towards the spot where the hand was waving desperately at anyone who could care to see...Raman, with some help, lifted the pillar and the huge brick slab that had crushed Ishu...and underneath, a bloodied injured Ishita was lying...near-unconscious...
God...the way Ruhi kept crying "Ishima utho, utho" my heart was breaking into a million pieces...If something were to happen to Ishita, Ruhi's world would crash in a second
and the way Raman held her close to his chest and broke down crying...God...I was crying thruout...KP - Hats off to you! Hats off! Havent seen an actor of his caliber sear the screen with his mere presence...Wonderful!! Not for one second did Ruhi stop calling out to her Ishima, in the hope that she'll wake up..
Ishu is taken on a stretcher...as the Bhallas and Iyers crowd around her, looking for any signs of movement...she was apparently not breathing and that freaked Raman out...
Shagun kept standing ike a mute spectator and watching it all...zombied...clueless...
Finding a moment, she tries to take Adi aside and talk to him ... "Ishita ko dekhke ne liye sab hain naa... tu apne Mamma ke saath reh jaa" Shagun ACTUALLY had the nerve to say this...
"Chhodiye mujhe...Aap meri Mom nai hain, woh meri Mom hain...Ishima meri mom hain"Adi retorted and left her, stranded, extremely poor..coz she lost the ONE person who mattered to her the most...however little it may be to us neutral/impartial viewers...AH was brilliant today...she looked STRUCK...Never did she think she would come to a juncture when her son would leave her alone...and turn his face away, for good...
And that's where the curtains to this Sauten drama fell down...For the first time..Shagun realised she had been a selfish, narcissistic prick, who endangered her kids's lives coz of her selfish, petty reasons and her carelessness...for the first time, she saw Ishita for what she REALLY was - a woman, who despite NOT being the children's biological Mom, UNBLINKINGLY, lay down her life for those children, who she didnt give birth to..and I kinda did see a faint glimpse of SHAME and remorse...at her own stupidity, her callousness
Was Ashok was in a different planet? What does he mean by "YEH SAB KYA HO GAYA"I mean, he looked like he just waltzed in from the airport and happened to chance by this mess...idiot, he is
Ashok taunted her... " Kya ho gaya Shagun? Apne parivaar ko dekh rahi ho? Par yeh tumhara parivaar ab raha nai...ab zabardasti toh tum apne bacchon ko apne paas nai rakh sakti naa...Tum haar gayi ho...you've lost everyting to Ishita...bahut buri tarah se haar gayi ho" even as Shagun recollected how her kids
"Haar gayi...haar gayi main apne bacchon ke aage...Main toh apne ego aur selfishness ke liye apne bacchon ko khatre mein daal diya...Ishita ne apni jaan ki parwah na kiye huey mere bacchon ko bachaya...I am a terrible mother"TARAS GAYE THE MERE KAAN SHAGUN KE MUNH SE YEH SUNNE KE LIYE...So finally, the kids didnt leave her stranded and alone and the earthquake and the fire didnt happen coz of Ishita...The witch acknowledged HER fault...lovely!đ Does that mean we wont be seeing Shagun in the show anymore? I mean, I read somewhere that she was to quit YHM and join another show...so the timing seems to coincide...
Ashok could not believe the transformation washing over Shagun, cant believe she has given up the fight and is talking like a changed person...leaves her alone, frustrated
Shagun looks on...shattered and hitting rock bottom. For Good.
In a way, it sends out those morals we learnt in countless Moral Science classes, but conveniently forgot... "Jo doosron ke liye gaddha banata hai, woh pehle khud usi gaddhe mein jaa girta hai"
Shagun has NOTHING in her life now...The two people she set out to snatch dont want to see her damn face ever again. Poetic justice, some may call it...but I do feel sorry for her...Sorry that she had to ruin the little bit of happiness she could've preserved in her life, owing to her narcissistic behaviour. I dunno about others, but even when she was trying to make Adi listen to her pleas, it seemed she was only trying to fight a lost battle...which deep down in her heart, she knew
P.S. KP, DT, Ruhanika, Gautam and AH...Outstanding job, guys!!
Toshi ji was fab too! Somehow, Madhvi and Appa, I felt, could've experimented more with their emotions...overall, a heart-rending episode
In today's episode, Ruhi's and Raman's mad insistence on looking for Ishita contributed greatly to her being rescued from the mess...And my heart swells with pride..when I realize...I love them both to bits and how incomplete YHM is without them
For the first time in this show, No precapđ
P.S. I feel sorry for Adi...he got to know about his mom's true colours in this nasty, staggering way...To love someone blindly, and to get betrayed by them - there's no bigger pain than thisđ
