Posts like this makes me reaffirm my believe in humility, humanity, love and relations made by heart and not blood alone. I suck at typing from touch screen, so I will get back to this when I have my lappy with me.

I m sure we can continue the discussion in todays epi as well.. coz I m prty sure it will be mind blowing.

Thank u once again.

Hey Shalz thanks a lot for your kind words I am so happy my simple words touched you so but the credit for it all goes to the fabulous job done by Ruhanika and for once our CVs are also included in the list, had it not been for them something so hauntingly heartbreaking wouldnt have etched itself on our minds.

As for faith in relationships of the heart - I believe them myself Shalz, blood maybe thicker than water but it in no way guarantees anything sometimes - one of the biggest massacre or probably the biggest one ever witnessed in history of mankind was fought on our homeland - India known to the world as the epic Mahabharata - there the people who killed each other shared the bonds of blood and yet it didnt mean a thing...so yeah blood could be at the end of the day just something that bleeds out and not always life-affirming

Aani - I was so conflicted as to where to read your post...& I finally decided to read it here...😆

It's always a treat to read you...The way you see things and they way you express makes it for an interesting read...

Initially I was not very keen on this whole kidnapped+fire sequence + earthquake thing... But yesterday the team of YHM made me realize why sometimes we need such OTT scenarios...

Everyone from every dept have done a brilliant job and as you aptly mentioned Ruhi killed it...You captured that beautifully in your edit...RD is a powerhouse of talent...

Ruhi time & again gets to see the reality of her birth mother...And that is the very reason why she never really trusts her even if Shagun was in her sweet self...She is always suspicious of her actions and sadly they always turn out into something cynical...

Now Adi will join the brigade but I guess it won't be easy for him. Thank god he realized this when he is cocooned in the warmth of his family so the impact of the blow might reduce, nevertheless this is going to be his biggest disillusionment of his life...

I was so weary while watching the episode yesterday, I checked and rechecked all Ishita's actions...I didn't want her to become a superwoman and thank god she didn't...Everything seemed real and relatable...& WHen YHM get's these two R's right there is no stopping it...

Regarding Draco - I didn't fall for Draco in the book, but Draco in the movie is a whole different story...😛

But you & JKR may not forgive me ,because I shipped him with Hermione for a while, initially...😉

Hey Anu

Sorry to have put you in a conflicted state and thanks for the reply over here 😊

Honestly I see where you are coming from, I wasnt very amped up about this sequence too but somehow while I thought that this is OTT a bit when I first read about it and later as I saw some OLVs and segs - when I witnessed the episode itself surprisingly I didnt feel the same way, if anything my POV changed maybe because of the heartbreaking scenes of the siblings that we didnt have in any of the POVs, the desperation with which Ruhi clung to her Ishimaa or the desolation with which she was shocked when her mother Shagun abandoned even her brother just like her - that moment is a masterstroke of the writer I tell ya, its like the shock on Ru' face says it all - like why did I even ask her to help, expect it...why did it seem to me that for my brother at least she wouldnt be the same as she is for me...its one of YHM' iconic moments really for me.

And all of this was meant for Adi always, like you said - the boy loves his mom despite knowing her colors but somehow maybe he held hope or didnt want to accept the truth staring him in the face this may change that but not so easily however, like you said having his family around when the blow comes will be of a great help

Also I am so glad Ishita wasnt superwoman - she was a mom, just a mom and thats all that came across even when she jumped into the burning kitchen or somehow got Adi out - adrenaline fuels the best of us when scared but when that is coupled with the fear of something happening to your child nothing quite works the same. Her actions were identifiable even when she was under that boulder and asking the kids to stay away - a mother does that, she can die for her children but not let them be harmed...

I have to say it was so astonishing as well as not at the same time to see Shagun sit by not even trying to find her kids when we saw her as Raman searched the place for his kids and Ishita. The woman wasnt even thinking about them until and unless Raman came across her - if anything she was sitting there thinking god I would need another spa treatment, new clothes now again and not to mention ask Ashok to finance these all over again which maybe difficult - plus this saree is also ruined 😳

The best part of your post was when you expressed bafflement! Cos , I was baffled too... Very baffled. But I have decided that they do it all in fun and dont mean anything nasty... If I dont decide this... I will stay baffled.

Its the first time, in this show that I cant wait for the episode to air... A must see , for Ruhi Darling!

thanks Berry 😊

I hope you are right Berry about things being all fun because sometimes I find it hard to believe since the line between real and reel is blurred and the hatred for one medium finds its way to the another

Also right with ya, cant wait for Ru 😃

I agree to everything u said there. 👏
Yest episode clearly reminded me of what Ekta Kapoor had once said in d beginning perhaps.
Nature vs Nuture at its best 😳
All the actors were brilliant 👏
I'd like to specially mention Ruhaanika n Gautam. They for me were the highlights n did a tremendous job 👏
Im looking forward to seeing Adi n Ishimas relation grow now n also how Ishra together will grow once again as parents 😳
Just hoping thrs not much damage done to Ishita bt let's wait n watch.

Hi dear

I am Aani, we havent ever interacted before so may I know your name now please 😊

Thanks and yeah the episode definitely was it seems a way for Ms. Kapoor to remind us what the show is about - not a man caught between two women but what makes a mother - Nature or Nurture.

Also the kids were fabulous last night. They deserve to be awarded for the brilliance of their work really hats off.
