Krishy - It's like everyday we get to uncover another aspect of Subbu...These days all the FBs make me ask only one question - Why the heck was Ishita ever with Subbu in the first place...

Thanks, Anu. 😳

Aani, Krishy, Anu - Interesting dicussion.

The whole Subbu track is such a major face-palm to me, its as if the CVs are trying different things with the man to see what clicks with the audience. And in the end nothing makes sense..its all a big khichdi. We have already established long ago that Raman and Ishita have committed some major faux pas in choosing their respective partners/lovers in the past, can we move on?

Apparently, the Bhallas don't believe in the phrase "Once bitten, twice shy". I am amazed to see that none, not Raman the so-called intelligent and shrewd CEO, not Simmi who has experienced so much betrayal in her previous marriage with a complex psychopath, not a single person other than Ishita is disturbed after learning about Lakshmi's suicide, or curious to know the reason. And the only ones who had some sense left in them were Bala & Vandu, today they crossed over to the dumb side, too. Sigh!

I don't mind seeing a track with Adi's teenage crush, especially if its a side-track like you mentioned, Krishy, but the timing is so wrong. Papa-Ishima love-story has no thikana, and now beta is falling in lurve already?? In ASR style, "What the?!"

I am frankly tired of seeing them play the father, mother, brother, SIL, son, DIL to everyone around. It sucks out their energies completely..no wonder they have no desire left in them for each other. Now this side-track of Adi has all signs of them playing mamma-papa once again..not that they had stopped ever. I want to see some damn Mohabbatein now, between the leads.

@bold - since you asked so nicely and are curious Anu I will answer you, however normally I dont reveal such things - Dahi Pakoris is the answer 😆😆

Okay on a serious note, I said that because Subbu is turning out to be someone who seems like a psychopath to me - anger issues doesnt even begin to cover what he has as per me his psychiatrist has diagnosed him incorrectly and the thing about psychos is these characters can be unpredictable; they have the ability to take you by surprise in a good way or a bad depending on how they are written and when on screen performed. Sadly Indian TV is not yet at a point where we can have shows like Dexter or Breaking Bad or Game of Thrones forget all of these - it doesnt even have the capacity to produce a Friends as of yet - a relatively sweet, cute sitcom or Castle which at least isnt as much into technicals and gore as Bones is.

I said what I did, about Subbu sleeping around or having affairs with women who resembled or reminded him of Ishita is for a reason. If you have read Lolita, you will know Humbert preys on young girls but is obsessed with Lolita since she resembles his childhood crush/sweetheart eerily... a relatively lesser known film starring Rajesh Khanna exists that was a flop, I remember seeing as a child on a day when I was all alone in my home for a couple of hours and can be credited to my introduction with psychos called 'Red Rose' - in the movie RK' character as a teenager is a servant in a rich man' place his teenaged daughter reads eroticas and watches po*n and one day seduces the teenaged boy who is her servant taking him to her bed, alas they are caught midact by her father in front of whom she pretends that she was being molested - RK' character is beaten within an inch of his life and thrown off a bridge into a river to die if I remember correctly. He is saved by a man who had a cheating wife who fled him ironically and who mentors the teenager as a father-figure making him a serial killer who preys on women - raping and killing them and later burying their bodies in his back yard and planting a rose bush over each grave site. All his victims in the movie bore a resemblance to the teenage girl who accused him of raping her and as he would slaughter his victims in the film he would remember her face and say her name...Subbu who was forced to leave Ishita by his Amma as per us and marry another woman for a child can have a similar streak shown - though I dont think the show will go there too meta for us 'simple minds' after all - since our channels and PH' think Indians still live in the age of the snake charmers era...which is why we are stuck in these saas bahu soaps eras even now where the leads have to be cockblocked for 98% of the show' duration - the 2% breather is offered to let them have kids who in turn can give way to new characters via leaps someday 😳

Also like I said its absurd Sujata has never doubted Subbu as it seems from the looks of it when by his statement and by the records of the Scotland Yard he was present when Lakshmi died what was he doing then when his wife took their son and threw herself to their deaths from the tenth storey of a building - making coffee, ideally in such cases homicide is not ruled out until proven otherwise without the shot of a doubt which becomes difficult to prove.

Not to mention I wonder how the hell did Subbu Sujata manage to get the court to allow him to marry Simi in a day - an application has to be filed a month in advance for acceptance - which WAS shown when Raman and Ishita tried to get married in the court when they consented to the match ' Sirf Ruhi Ke Liye'

Indu I agree with ya there but sadly I know someone who happened to be jilted twice courtesy of her parents - the mentality of beti paraya dhan hai and crap being the reason behind her miserable sorry state

And totally Subbu' track is definitely NOT what any of us had imagined in our wildest dreams ... I dont even understand why have Subbu return if his link to her past is useless in the bigger picture a new villain could have done the job just as swell since they have made no use of the fact he dated Ishita for years and almost married her except once or twice since his entry which is useless in a way if you ask me

And the leads of not just our show but every single one that exists on Indian TV are cursed and plagued with the curse of being asexual ever since Ms Kapoor started the trend of saas bahu shows - prior to those we had mere mortals on TV who slept around despite being married or even had ONS' and affairs where they lost their virginity to their partners despite dating them for a brief while - in other words - they were normal human beings back then full of desires and capable of mistakes and human wants and needs and not the human reincarnations of gods and goddesses that we see today where every couple is compared to Ram & Sita - a pair that ironically didnt have a happily ever after or Radha Krishna - who never got married or Shiv Parvati - which means that the man and the woman are equals and while they have a good marriage they also have periods of seperation due to anger and misunderstandings and what not...

@ RED the same thoughts were in my mind...when ishita and raman went it was said 1 mth was needed and subu given permission in 1 day...i guess he allowed his psychopath traits to be displayed in front of the court...to get rid of his madness permission was givn immediately 😆
