I just do not understand WHY a track like Ishita's infertility, insecurities regarding intimacy and has past with Subbu couldn't be connected to each other to give us a mature, trend setting track on tv. Is it too mature for us? Come on, most of us viewers are well educated and wait to see progressive stories. And making love and having babies is a part of natural growth in a normal couple's life. Why not put light on it? Are the masses so naive and regressive to not give such tracks a chance. Or the creatives probably don't just have the guts NOR the interest to touch on something so beautiful.

Gah when Mihika started thinking Shagun on the lines of being a BECHARI I thought we have had it - the accident track, the track where Ishita never had any PTSD cause she was almost molested or the stupid track of Raman staging a lie with Tandon' sister from London just so that Mihir could get slapped publicly and accept he loves Mihika were gonna seem puny..and I was right...

Unfortunately for us, that was just the tip of the iceberg what we see after that namely Raina who stalked Bala24, the curious case of Sarika who keeps on appearing and disappearing and the very fascinating elephantine pregnancy of Vandu it almost seems funny that Subbu track is the one which makes me want to pull off the hair of someone, since I love mine way too much 😆😆

As for our leads' sex life - sometimes I am afraid that Raman would be plotting and planning still to get laid with biwi and would be about to finally get lucky, pun intended, when Ruhi or Adi or both of them would drop in with their spouses and ask Ishimaa to babysit their children so that the siblings could spend some quality time with their respective partners sans their kids and of course Ishu nani and dadi would agree while puttar would weep that his life sucks, the cruel, cruel world that he lives in shouldnt exist and for all reasons and purposes he only got what he wanted - a mother for his children NOT a wife since he was so adamant about getting married 'Sirf Ruhi ke liye' - life really did give him what he wanted and now he doesnt like it anymore 😉

When I look at the show through this lens, I question my own intelligence and sense of judgement for still continuing with it..LOL! But I guess its only IshRa and their magic that has kept me going, the actors' amazing onscreen chemistry and those certain moments and subtle nuances that they portray with such perfection that pull me back and make me long for more.😳

You know Aani, over the years, I have gotten used to the typical Hindi serial formulas, and I try my best to make myself immune to these mind boggling stuff that they dish out. Now they amuse me for the most part, but it still pains, nonetheless.

I really liked the accident track, the way it had the whole focus on IshRa and their emotions. I thought the episodes were quite gripping, and I remember being conflicted between feeling sympathy and anger towards Raman and his situation. The episodes were so balanced back then.

I even enjoyed the Mani track for the most part. But ever since the closure of that track, I just wish to black out certain instances. Like Krishy mentioned, if such a big occurence as an earthquake and having been crushed under a boulder and nearly losing her life did not have Ishita go through PTSD, then its absurd even to expect her to go through it after the almost-molestation. Forget trauma, she is up and about in a day with a mere bandage on her forehead, visiting Sujata and solving suicide mysteries! A little run over by a vehicle had her on a wheelchair for weeks! The mind boggles!!

And don't even get me started on the leads' sex life, or rather the complete lack of it. The slow growing mohabbatein between them was much relatable and a pleasure to watch, but after confession, and living in the same room each day, I want to scream "What the hell are they waiting for?!"

How sad is it that we make this long list of things that is so wrong about the show, and yet, spend hours trying to analyse, hoping to find a teeny-tiny element of sense in all the insanity shown, perhaps just to appease our poor minds that we indeed are among the progressive, intelligent viewers who watch sensible television.😆

Na I won't be that quick in giving up. There's always a low phase in all shows. They keep giving us exceptional moments and IshRa have always been special anyway. I have my own limits though and when those are crossed I will know it's time to stop. Nothing as off is nearing that. So I am going to take these tracks with a pinch of salt.

But goes without saying that this track is surely very bland and not gripping at all. I just don't understand the meaning of it. Subbu is the most important aspect of the female leads past and he's being pushed down our throats with this rubbish.🤢
