Two words for tonight' episode - Cupid & Stupid.
I would elaborate on both of them - first with Cupid because thats the good part...
So Adi boy is experiencing the first brush of youth, that first spark of attraction and it is really, really cute. My mom was like isnt he too young for this but then again he is a boy in the eight grade graduating to the ninth - a teenager and so I defended him in front of my mom and said you feel this because you passed this stage decades and decades ago earning a glare from her 😆😆 however she cannot deny the god' honest truth and so we settled when she smiled and pulled my ear for my cheekiness 😆😆
The girl who Adi has a crush on I really failed to hear her name properly both the times phonecalls I tell ya anyhow she looks cute and I could see that she isnt bad for what is certainly a cameo...only I am worried for Adi and because of his dear old dad...
The way that girl found Raman cute and young, was reminded of my teens and the time that in my school around the age we had two male teachers - one for geography and another one for Hindi and girls used to be crazy about them...so while Adi boy is setting his sights on his first brush with romance...it might end up with him also dealing with his first heartbreak and that too courtesy dear old dad who wouldnt even know what hit him when he might be accused of robbing the cradle so to speak...I hope against hope that its not the case else it would be such an awful experience for Adi, to be bested by his dad tsk tsk...not exactly how you would want to look back on the memories of your first crush...
Though if the makers do go that way, it would be interesting to see how they deal with it since Raman definitely is no cradle- robber and while tonight he kinda felt good about being considered young enough to be taken as his son' older brother, making him say Adi should introduce his friend to Ishita...if things go south it will be weird for a while between the father son pair who are still trying to make up on lost time...
Also I wont be surprised to see that Ishita or perhaps Ruhi figure out that Adi is acting strange thanks to his crush if the track is here to stay for a while - sisters and mothers are the best sleuths for the job in cases like these after all 😆😆😆 and Ishita would definitely catch up first on the fact Adi is growing up and having crushes already...wonder what kinda convo will that lead to between Raman and her since she can tease him and make him feel old and what not...Raman being clueless on this account would actually make sense really...typical fathers...they dont really realize on certain things until its stated clearly even if its staring them in the face 😆😆
And speaking of sense, I will get to the stupid - Ironical isnt it?
So tonight we learned that the suicide thing wasnt a lie or at least the fact that Lakshmi died by falling off/jumping off from the tenth floor of a building isnt a hoax no more plane crashes...what beats me is - why are the Bhalla family and Bala-Vandu not asking Subbu - what made Lakshmi jump with her child to death if that is what really happened...how is it that no one had the same questions and doubts that Ishita has - why would a woman with an infant be so depressed, if she was about the fact that she may never conceive again - she has a child already, its not like she is childless and fine even if she gets affected by the news how can her depression be so huge that she ends up killing herself AND her baby for a child that couldnt have even existed in the first place 😕
Also if someone like Mihika, a lay person can approach an ACP who in turn contacted the Scotland Yard, for unofficial reasons and figured out via him that the official records in London state that Lakshmi killed herself because her husband was cheating on her does Sujata, a human rights activist who especially deals in crimes against women and children not have used her contacts to learn of the same...plus how is it that the Bhallas are responsible for her death LIKE HOW? Which one of them kick her from the building was it Toshiji because she is the only one who went to London recently and if so why...is it because she wanted to avenge her bahu who is now in love with her son 🤪
The only line of reasoning that makes sense to me is Sujata is being fooled by Subbu somehow in this moronic plot but how...thats a mystery - that he is a liar has been proven time and again, even Ishita takes note of it...but how did he come up with a lie so convoluted and twisted that a woman doesnt understand what happened to her own daughter and grandchild...how come Lakshmi never spoke to her mom about Subbu having an affair or sleeping around, whatever he indulged in, if she was so disturbed about it then exactly why wont she tell her mom somehting so huge?
Not to mention I have lost hopes of sanity from this track at least else this could have turned into something dark and twisted - like Subbu indulging in affairs with women who reminded him of Ishita in someway or the other - say who had lovely long hair like her or looked or sounded like her in some way, had some personality trait, likes or dislikes same as her - which would make this so creepy and morbid at the same time ...yeah I am a Dexter, Breaking Bad and Game of Thrones fan...thinking out of the box crazy, creepy comes naturally to me 😆😆😆
Wanna see what happens next spoiler pics show them in the court but whether the marriage happens or not is still a mystery - Mihir and Mihika too had filed an application in court and reached there but to no avail...it could be an encore for Simi and Subbu, I hope it is...
On a completely twisted note - how weird is it that we are seeing a story of childhood love and romance that is sweet and cute on one end while on the other end we see two exes - childhood sweethearts now seperated where one has turned into a villain while the other is trying to figure out what is going on in the head of the man she once was in love with and now cant seem to even understand... on one end love is blossoming that will be crushed eventually on the other we see a love that was crushed ages ago but its rearing its ugly head now and it is about to get a whole lot more uglier as time passes and things progress...
