Part 2

We completed having our food and made our way out. As we were walking out, I got a call from the Mihir.

Raman-No way! Aaj kuch bhi nahi![Nothing today]

Mihir, I said No', I said with a tone of finality which Mihir understood very well. Some foreign delegates had insisted for a ten-minute video call. It was a very good company and could take our company to new heights, but today- no. Today was completely for my Madrassan. I knew they would understand, because they also wanted this deal as much as we wanted. All our life we had problems and we will have in future too, but her being with me everything was possible. We together could fight the whole world. But today, I just wanted some time alone with her, only smiles, cherishing moments and making memories. Thank God! Madrassan had moved to the receptionist, otherwise she would have insisted me. After few minutes, I got a call from Mihir saying they had agreed to talk another day.

Gulmarg Gondola

We started to head to Gulmarg Gondola. They say this is one place you should never miss this once you come to Gulmarg. It is one of the finest cable cars of the world. The car took off as we sat in. The sight was enchanting, just so mesmerizing and the best thing was I had Ishita with me. I might have come here before, but this was a first to me, a first that my heart could see it. I was happy because she was happy, because she enjoyed it. So, how is it?', I asked. Awesome Raman. Look at it. It is just so beautiful. I loved it.'

We started skiing. It was a wonderful experience.

Ishita- Raman you know what I love skiing. I was always a ski-lover. Kitna maza aata hai usme[ How much fun is it to ski?]

Raman- Poori zindagi vahi karte raho na. Kam se kam mujhe to chutkara milega.[ Do it whole life na. Atleast, I will be free from you.]

She opened her mouth in an O' shape and I started to laugh and soon she too joined me. We clicked some selfies and some pics of the scenery.

There was happiness in those eyes and my heart warmed up seeing it. I could do anything for them just to get a glimpse of happiness in them, because my life depended on those eyes.

It was afternoon, everyone set out to have lunch. We just had some snacks and took some cold drinks for a lighter lunch.

Ishita- Raman look at those flowers. They are so beautiful.

Gulmarg, as the name suggests was a meadow of flowers. They were flowers yet to come in the coming months, but the flowers now were no less. They were beautiful. We took some of them which were for sale and some pics of those which were not for sale and couldn't be taken.

We soon entered the phase two. It was so enchanting. If people thought phase one was beautiful, this was way more than beautiful and enchanting. It was gorgeous, something that couldn't be put into words. We spent quality time there all the while praising the scenery and chatting.

It was evening. We decided to go to St.Mary's Church. We took our seats. After sometime the father called two names-Raman Kumar Bhalla and Ishita Raman Kumar Bhalla.

Ishita looked at me baffled. Just Come,' I said and we went.

I took her hand in mine and said, Ishita, jab humne Shaadi ki thi tab humne halath ke liye kiya, par aaj mein pure dil se tumhara haath mang raha hu. Poore zindagi keliye.Soch Lo. Ek baar hath thamliya to zindagi bhar chodunga nahi'. [Ishita, when we had married it was due to the circumstances, but today I ask your hand whole-heartedly, for whole life. Think about it. Once you give your hand, I won't leave it for whole life.]

There were tears in her eyes.'Aur choodnedungi bi nahi' [I won't let you leave also], she said and I was the happiest person ever. We had confessed our love, but still this yes meant a lot to me. I slid the finger into her hand. It fit perfectly into her hand, as if it was made only for her. It was simple yet elegant, just like her. We walked hand in hand outside.

Inme mere aanewaley zamaane ki tasveer hai

Chahat ke kaajal se likhee hui meri taqdeer hai

In your eyes reside the image/picture of my future

With kohl of love my destiny written

From there, I led her to the Shiva temple. Gulmarg was very famous for its Shiva temple. It is situated on a small hillock in Gulmarg. It was visible almost from every corner of Gulmarg. There was a long path adjoined to the temple using beams, where the devotees walked.

We entered the Shiva temple, took blessings from the idols of Shiva and Parvati- the couple who were famous for their love. We also took blessings from Ghulam Mohammad Sheikh who was looking after the ninety-two year old temple for about seventeen years. He was well- versed in Quran and Gita, the google-my best friend had said, when I was searching about the temple.

After taking the Aarti, I filled Ishita's maang with Sindoor making those silent promises to love her forever in my mind and the promises of the seven pheras.

Later, we returned to the resort. The room was filled with red balloons and rose petals were arranged on the table saying Happy Anniversary Madrassan' surrounded by candles and a rose, a heart-shaped chocolate cake with a symbol of heart.

I entered the room after her. Surprise was written in her eyes.

Did you like it?' I asked. Though I knew she would like it, my heart wanted to hear it from her.

Like it? I loved it Raman.' Her response made me happy. She turned towards me, cupping my face and said, Raman. Thank you so much. Thank you for everything.

Thank you Ishita. You made my life beautiful. Thanks for coming into my life.' I said as I hugged her and spent one of the beautiful nights of my life.

Ishita- Ye lo aankhon ke samne rakhe bhul jate ho[Take it, keeping it in front of your eyes you forget it.]

Raman- ab mere aankhe to sirf tumhare aankhon pe hote haina isiliye, [What to do? My eyes are on only your eyes right? That is why] I said pulling her into my arms and placing my lips on hers.

it was fabulous dear. in real this song was dedicated to a woman who was blind but you wrote this very well. loved it a lot. each and everything was fabulous dear. loved ishra anniversary in gulmerg. I must say, your writing is reaching on new heights in each passing day. congratulations again for this beautiful update
