I am not alone, I find 1000s of goras do it too you know. I didnt know about all this in the first 10 years of my existence here, too busy having kids, going to to Grad School and trying to become a CFO I guess... no the last part is a lie... I guess I was trying to "live up to the Desi Jones'"😭I dont do as much as some goras do in their everyday life, I try to copy ONE good thing from my gora interactions. Despite all their high divorce rates and live in relationships they are AMAZING people that do a lot for charity... I have two boys, Most middle class Desis dont have to encounter ANY poverty in this country especially if they live in a city like mine, though we go to India every year, and they see beggars at traffic intersections, they lead a very insulated life here, there are no homeless, no pan handlers, no hobos wandering the streets... when we go to bigger cities they see people at store corners holding signs "Veteran please give money for food" type signs and are quite startled...In order to make them realize poverty exists every where, I take them to Food Banks or use their help to serve meals at the Rescue Mission or go cooking once a month at Ronald McDonald House for visiting parents of ailing kidsI am like II I am not noble to give up my regular life but at the same time fear my boys will grow up to be heartless insensitive jerks so every now and then introduce them to the "joy of giving"I bet each and every one of us will do it... I do 20% of how ever much I "can". two hours every other weekend is pittance😭 I am too involved in writing romance fiction and getting my beauty sleep to do anything more. When I set up the appointment I usually tell them "I dont want to handle meat" they give us jobs like stacking canned food or making boxes, or moving bags of rice or beans aroundI am amazed at the respect and sensitivity I receive for my religious beliefs wherever I go... the guy very politely asked me "If it doesnt offend you would you mind going into the room where they are packaging the meat and stack the empty boxes by the wall?"I am like "Oh ya!! Why not"The respect and understanding is quite amazing...👏👏
Wooah! Ranjan guilty vs Ranjan innocent... black or white or grey ... Like it😊
I know the case is Ranjan here... but me tempted to put in my bit ...In all this R&B's reaction is what intrigues me the most.
If Ranjan were to be acquitted -our dude is far from grovelling upon his knees begging for forgiveness...not at all..
It doesn't get any better if Ranjan were to be proved guilty - the dude retreats further more into his shell... he already believes so and has dealt with it in his way... imagine going over it again...
Given the introvert that he is, he's got a pretty tight lid over his emotions, not given to extremes
Whichever way the verdict might swing, it's how R&B deals with it, takes precedence for me in this story. II's presence in his life may not allow him to resort to escapism... Also how II would deal with it, wpuld be another interesting facet to their relation
I guess I digressed here...but couldn't help...R&B seems to have leapt out of the pages here
PS: I think most of the Sosy characters are living entities for the readers
Loved how II was in her elements, when R&B returned. Squealing and cuddling... glad she didn't downplay her excitement... For R&B it must have been pure unadulterated joy of returning home to an eagerly waiting wife...
Ranjan will soon get conditioned to PDA at MM
and violence 😆
and stray cats 😆

@BOLD: true that!!! One of the main reason for debate n difference of opinions amongst all of us readers is that we look at them not as just mare characters... But we question the whys n what ifs to understand if the character would stay true to their behavior like real people would... Or chamelion like change colors n be unpredictable... R&B for the most parts drives most reaction from me. Mostly because he appears like such a practical character that any deviation in the graph makes me ask a why and "what if" for him atleast. I think Ranjan is not guilty but the fact that he was found with his pants down and doesnt do/hasnt done anything to prove himself innocent makes me fear that I am rooting for a grey character. Makes me wonder what has stopped him from proving his innocense. He has nothing to lose, his son is already lost to him, his wife is dead possibly because of this scandal... He works for himself so noone can take his business from him(maybe some setbacks owing to the bad rep that his dealers wouldnt want to associate to, but if they were to happen they would already have happened)... I dont know why isnt he fighting for his innocense...or is it a lost cause for him?

on the face, I like ranjan...he's the coolest FIL to have around sans the scandal ...when he has tears it does pull the heartstrings ... big time.. and i go gushing..pls let him be acquittedbut if i were to look at it clinically... his tears/thoughts can be interpreted as self-pity as well and that doesn't do down well with meif he were innocent, wud expect him to fight it out and clear the air with his off springs at least..forget the rest of the world...In some instances he has spoken about Savvy in the present tense...spooky ...is he living an illusion..
