What I fail to understand from this entire fiasco is they (here 'they' means Ishra and Bhalla clan) expect a 6 yr kid to understand the hard realities of life, to understand why her parents n family has abandoned her while a kid double the age of this child is being provided with a delusional world of happiness!!! Today Adi wanted to stay with Bhallas so his wish was granted, tomorrow he would want to stay again with Shagun, his wish will again be granted in the name of "Adi ke liye", what about Ruhi's wishes. She never wanted to stay with Shagun! Heck she always wanted to stay with Bhallas then y this injustice towards her. No matter how much I try to rationalize with Adi's condition I just can't do it at the cost of hurting the feelings of a mere 6 year old kid. I can't

As far as Parenting is concerned Ishra shud have ideally calmed Ruhi down explaining the situation that we r sorry we cant get u now coz if we get u - we will lose Adi's custody n we want u both together in our house. We will fight for u but after some days etc etc.

I think if they wud have explained to Adi too that he needs to go stay with Shagun he mught have listened to it.

But CVs want to create more drama by showing Ruhi crying, Ishita Ruhi's seperation so her insecurities r shown etc etc...

shalini di nice post... it was ok with me that they were providing a good environment to adi... but y did simmi stop at ruhi's name ... that I didn't get... ruhi is also a part of this family ... and adi doesn't hate ruhi... he himself wants ruhi to return..

I saw it a bit differently...they were not pampering him but giving him the attention that they had not been able to give him because of all the doldrums related to Ruhi's custody and were trying to rule that out from his mind that no one cares about him.

it was fine till this part in my opinion...

Also the part where they stopped discussing Ruhi, was not because Ruhi was taboo or anything ..it's like they wanted Adi to enjoy a moment and not bring in a topic which will make him sad (remember part of his guilt was that because of him his family and Ruhi are facing all the issues.)
I m not sayign ruhi is taboo...but mentioning of ruhi is also important... coz mentioning ruhi doesnt mean tht they dont want him there...
I see it as a family's effort of trying to help the one who is most at risk ( suicide thoughts) at the moment and trying to give him a sense of belonging.


But that is the point naa... suicide attempts (thou he didnt attempt actually) arent not be dealt with like this..playing n doing haasi mazak... in my own experience i have seen what it does... if u shove the matter inside the rug n think the problem is gone...it doesnt... the incident i refered to... the same treatment was done to him... extra caution..extra sweetness...with no actual addressing of the situation... n when he was smiling n all..everyone taught..everything is fine...n then wham his second n final attempt...the issue is not be handled ONLY by pampering..as the bhallas continue to do...

They are trying to make the best out of a situation in which no one other than Shagun is happy.

No offense Shalz..just my honest feeling from the episode.
