Vee - did you get a color change or have I lost it after hours of studying? 🤓 😆

Word Vi. Great review. I am not a parent, but I have practiced in the Family Court, and people like Shagun are unfortunately real - parents who manipulate children to exact revenge. Feel for Adi and Ruhi - what a dilemma for Raman.

thanks V...

yeah such ppl coexist among us but then I wanted to know one thing. can custody cases keep reopening and closing time and again?
Can out of court deal be done to swap kids? what logic does it make?

I remember that in the previous judgement, that lady judge saying that Ruhi's complete custody is granted to Ishita Bhalla...so without her consent, can this big decision be taken? I know Raman has equal rights over Ruhi but is Raman's signature alone enough?
I know YHM mein logic nahi hota but I just wanted to know if in real, this is legally possible

Aani a very good analysis of the episode and the custody track...

the show explores saddest reality of a broken marriage though at the cost of ignoring and pushing aside logic and widening the realms of law!

No Vi, it's not possible. Custody can be reopened if circumstances change, and reviews can be scheduled, but courts do not treat children like pawns. The best interests of the child is the main determinant in custody cases - the residence of children is generally given to the primary caregiver unless that primary caregiver is an unfit parent. Out of court settlements are not sealed by the court until welfare authorities review the case - by home visits, reports, interviews with the child etc. in such cases as that of Ruhi and Adi, there would almost certainly be a court appointed counsel for the child, independent from the parents lawyers, who would ensure that whatever decision was taken was in the child's interests. What is being shown is illogical, legally incorrect and just plain stupid.

I have written so much about this track and the episode in so many posts last night. Similar to what you say, but nothing comes close to the way you can put it down.

I'd just like to say that in this situation I don't see how people can even differentiate between the pain both the kids or the leads are going through. Each is fighting a war of their own and battling their own pain and insecurities. Here the biggest pain kind of lies in the hands of both the parents who need to make decisions. Especially Raman, who has to go through the ordeal of choosing between hell and high water. None better than the other

And about what you wrote towards the end. I'd love if in this scenario Adi is the one standing tall and taking the lead in this. Him emerging as the strongest, as the hero of the track. 😊

Hey Anku thank you 😊

Its not hard to imagine why questions are raised Anku, in real life too people tend to loose perspective of the larger picture and tend to focus on the thing that resonates with them the most.

As you rightly said, we see each of these characters be it the kids Ruhi, Adi or the adults in the equation here Ishita, Raman going through their own worst nightmare in a way. For Ishita and Ruhi its loosing each other, for Raman it is to see his family once again being torn apart, worse he is the one largely responsible for things reaching this point and for Adi it is to find out he had been used all along - who you identify, sympathize with more can influence your judgement on the big picture.

At the end of the day however this is another test of the family, how they overcome it is more important than thinking who is suffering the most here because there is no answer to that - how can pain be measured much less be compared? Can you say that one of these people is not suffering? No, because they all are, so discussing who to pity more is a moot point for me.

I would definitely love nothing more than for this preteen to find himself as a child wanted and loved by his family, moreover nothing would and could be a more befitting climax of this track if he, the one Shagun underestimated the most, the dark horse, the underdog becomes the hero of the moment.
