If Ishita was to ever chose Raman over Ruhi, then her love, her desire to be mother, her reason to marry a a man she hated to be with her daughter, would also be questioned by this very forum! There is no win-win!

That's got everything to do with LOVE. A married person with so much love for his/her spouse will never say his/her marriage is meaningless without their child. "Ruhi hai toh hun mai...Ruhi nahi toh humara rishte nahi hai"...seriously?! After all this progression, she is still stuck with this condition !! An instant reaction ...huh! In no way an instant reaction can chuck out your relationship with your spouse! Is it that easy when you claim to love him/her! Then it's not love in the first place.

And, her reaction is not so Instant. She will elope with Ruhi leaving everyone.
What is she thinking?! She will run away and settle down somewhere else with Ruhi?! If so, he's punishing Raman and every other family members with her selfish deed.If it's not the case, then she has to comeback someday. What will she do then? Ishita's obsession for Ruhi isn't helping anyone.

Ruhi can always be her first priority but not the SOLE priority. Just for the sake of Ruhi, she can't discard every other relationships. It's not healthy, it's madness. If she can discard her marriage like that, people will definitely raise questions.

Well, it's pretty clear. When you love someone, you don't love him/her for another person. "Ruhi hai toh hum hai...Ruhi nahi hai toh koyi rishte nahi" that means Ruhi is needed for the continuity of their marriage. If Ruhi is not there, Ishita sees their relationship won't work. So,the earlier "Ruhi ke liye"' clause still exists for Ishita. Without Ruhi, there is no Raman for her. Yes, she can love Ruhi most, there is no objection for that. But if Ruhi is needed to love Raman and otherwise she won't love Raman/won't continue their "rishta"---it's a very peculiar thought from Ishita.
