to protect daughter rather than consoling Raman. Also the scenarios comparing Raman running away to singapore coz he loves Ishita the most to Ishita running away with Ruhi! LOL the childishness of the whole set of arguments.

The episode was indeed as expected high on emotions and DT portrayed her fear of losing Ruhi and more than that her fear of Ruhi going with Shagun who she knows is only taking Ruhi for revenge and not out of love!

Ishita made a lot of mistakes, but those only brought Adi closer to the Bhallas. Raman somehow seems overconfident and in wanting to protect ishita is hiding stuff and then hurting her the most!
If only he had atleast shown the documents to ishita even a day before, all this mess could perhaps have been averted, but his snooty behaviour, compete MCP made matters all the more worse...

Let us see how this plays out. Adi will for sure understand what his mom is playing at and would help Ishita and Ruhi overcome this. I could not get Shagun - she was actually willing to lose Adi just to teach Bhallas a lesson?

I'm sorry but I have to disagree with you. Yes Raman made a mistake...a grave one indeed, but it was stemming from his need to protect his family and Ishita from the stress of Rs 4 Lakh/month transaction. Yes this is going to hurt him, and he knows it too...but I dont think this has anything to do with being snooty or being MCP. While you're right, he was at fault...but the reason is not what you described it as.

Ishita's anger at him is also justified...whatever the situation, matters which are of this serious nature need a joint collaboration of a couple...and it's about time Raman realizes that Ishita doesn't need protection, rather it would benefit their relationship if he maintains a clear visibility about matters.

Gan - I agree with you! I just wrote a mini essay about the same point on page 8 or something...

I think the reason everyone keeps attributing Raman's drive to get Adi is because of the stupid GKC nonsense that Toshiji kept spewing. I think her words affected his decision making with Romi, but for Adi...from the day Shagun's wedding started & he learned Ashok was duping Shagun...he wanted to protect his son. How can we fault him for that?

We can fault him for keeping secrets from his wife in an effort to protect the family (though I wish they gave us a small dialog of his emotions). We can also fault him for being impulsive. We can't fault him for why he wants his son though. To me that would the same as faulting Ishita going over the ends of the earth to protect Ruhi.

This shouldn't be a Ishita vs. Raman scenario. Both are justified in my opinion. One may be in the fault, but this is a marriage. They are in it for the long haul and life isn't black & white...it's grey as we are seeing on screen!

She had a plan, a purpose & she knew how to go about it. Hell, I even empathized a bit with her when she blamed the Bhalla's for doing what she is now doing to them.

Yeap...She was like all down to business...It was a business more or less for her. AH gave a decent performance today...I guess when there is conviction in the script, even remotely it's easy to relate and deliver accordingly

Loved the collages and the recap Ganbarun 👏

The episode was reminiscent of YHM's golden days. Everyone was in their element...be it Shagun, Romi or Adi...loved all of them today! DT was superlative!!!! Boy what a performance 👏👏 Take a bow DT...you nailed it as a mother who's facing the worst possible scenario. Just held it in supreme control without it being labeled OTT. Simply brilliant!

Agree with everyone's comments reagrding Ishita's love for Ruhi. A mother will always hold her children precious...even more than the husband. There is no comparison, doubt or question about that. And plus this was a love story based on a mother-daughter's unusual bond and their love.. Everything else came much later! So viewers having a problem relating to Ishita's love for Ruhi probably signed up for the wrong love story 😳

Okay I have a question, a silly one I guess, but what does MCP mean? (I'm terrible at acronyms)

I have a new observation. The copy Shagun gave to Raman's lawyer had the original conditions and Shagun's lawyer said that he had added the custody exchange clause in the main paper. Does it mean that the main paper has both the 4 lacs per month and custody exchange clause? If it does, I'm pretty sure those who felt sympathy towards Shagun would reconsider their feelings.

@ Kri --- I agree K. My point was never to belittle Raman's misery but to highlight Ishita's stance in this situation.
Yes he is hurting too. But what irritated me in this whole mess was the reason it had to come down to this. He still does not understand Shagun & her manipulations. He had a strong case and he could have fought it out in the court. Even if it was not Ruhi, he was putting his entire family in jeopardy by accepting the 4lacs per month deal. Why does she deserve anything from him at all? For how will he let her cling to him?

And this is because of his impulsiveness towards Adi. This impulsiveness has always hurt him & taken him away from Adi. Today he stands to lose his daughter because of his sole focus on his son (which is not entirely wrong again, Adi needs them). So somehow the lack of practical sense is what irritated me.

I also blame Toshi, her GKC rant and the entire "I am dying" stunt she pulls off every time it comes to Adi. This pushed Puttar too.

But all said & done, Ishita & Raman both are suffering right now and no one's misery in this situation can be belittled, be it as a father or a mother.

what is to see is this..rather than pointing the mistakes of other..in this serious crisis situation...
rather to deal together with this...
but who so ever done suffering is no less for anyone person... does anything will cum out of it if start a fight among each-other rather the fight with the situation...
