Karan's parents wanted Ankita to be their daughter-in-law: Abhay Bhargava

Mumbai: TV actor Karan Patel and his bride-to-be Ankita Bhargava made headlines on Tuesday, after the actor confirmed the news of his plans to tie the knot with the actress. The actors met through that families and hit it off from there.

Here's an interesting bit, Abhay Bhargava, who plays Karan's father-in-law in the hit series Yeh Hai Mohabbatein', will soon become the actor's real-life father-in-law.

Speaking about how it happened the veteran actor reveals, "My daughter Ankita had never visited our sets. I had thrown a party for the Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' cast, at home recently, that was when Karan and she met. Aly (Goni) suggested that Karan and Ankita are perfect for each other."

"Aly spoke to Karan's parents, who saw Ankita's picture and within an hour reverted, that they wanted her to be their daughter-in-law. I am aware of Karan's past but I know that his good qualities outdo the bad ones, so I'm happy. The wedding got finalized just a week back so I've asked the makers to either give me a late call time or early exit from the shoot, so I can prepare for the wedding functions."

Can these people get their act together...Too many contradictions in all these articles and even the quotes themselves! they all are starting to look so foolish and fake!

And seriously for a man that avoided the media for over a year, to even give bytes for his show this overdose of PDA over social media is so fake and honestly pukeworthy!

Congratulations to whoever they choose to be happy or unhappy with..its their life!
