Hey Gan. You topics, the collages and even the discussions by everyone here, give me an entirely different outlook to the episode 😃
Today's episode was like the last few very high on drama. But it lay ground for MANY future tracks. Romi Sarika, the infamous Ghar ka Chirag, Ishita's infertility and Raman and Ishita's mostly always questionable and stagnant relation 😆 (I love them, they've had great emotional progress and all, but they need to move ahead.) So although Shagun's screeching and venting out all the crass was horrid to hear. That one remark made my day. Although morally it was so wrong to be stated in front of the world.
Coming to Raman and Adi -
I've had issues with how they've never shown how Adi suddenly had a reformation from being bratty and scheming to a little more understanding and compassionate. But I am yet all in all really happy with the progression shown. Adi has now grown attached to his family, begun realizing that his dad did always want him and loves him. And unlike last time when he wanted nothing to do with his father, this time he wanted to stay back. But Raman was in a fix and I think this was the only decision he could take. But that moment when he looks back, when both look back rather.. the emotions in their eyes were moving. Definitely the highlight of the episode.
As crass the venom Shagun spewed was, Anita acted so well after days. Sometimes she made me cringe, but today she was bang on. One could feel the weight of defeat on her. The frustration of being thrown out again, of her scheming having failed, her hukkum ka ikka no more substantial to blackmail the Bhalla's .. Somewhere it was the realization that she's always dug a grave for herself while all along she thought it was for others.
The last two episodes, Raman's lack of reaction has been bothering me. Like REALLY bothered me 😆 But then I thought. How extremely Raman used to react to Shagun for 3/4th of the run YHM has had. And we and even Ishita used to think that he shouldn't be so bothered by her if she's not significant in his life anymore. Now I guess he's come to a point when he realizes. That it's no freaking use to try and talk sense to her, because it's not going to change her a bit. And what she says anyway does not matter at all. Because she doesn't mean a thing.
BUT I was still glad he told her off, although too little and too less, but it was enough.
Coming to the GKC issue, I just really hope that for all the regressive thoughts shown, there'll be a counter attack to it. And as everything bad has been shown changing, this will as well.
I've a lot to say about the Romi Sarika issue, but shall wait for tonight's episode to play out before I do.
