Megha, I agree about Sarika. I dont think she should only because her child will grow up without a father. Yes, she should display self-respect and ensure she gets the respect she deserves before she agrees. If I were in her shoes I would have said the same things.

BUT, my point is about our reaction to the 2 situations. IshRa and Romi-Sarika.

Even Ishita and Raman weren't fond of each other, and they agreed after some resistance. Ishita could have stayed alone. who says a woman needs a child? Ruhi could have gotten the love from her uncle & aunts and grandparents. But the ideal solution in that case was for them to get married. So why does Sarika's child not deserve the love of 2 parents? One more thing to consider in Romi Sarika's case is, the child is theirs. so at some point in their life, even for the briefest moment, they actually had affection for each other. In my books, I think the probability of that marriage succeeding would be higher than Ishita & Raman's.

If Ishita and Raman weren't the leads of this show and if the story was not revolving around them, would we have had a different reaction, that is what I am asking.

Here Bhallas want Sarika coz atleast she will be carrying Romi's child but there is no sense of responsibility whatsoever from Romi's side he too wants to get married just coz he doesnt want to be targetted as childless in society. So somewhere I think he might not b able to fulfill his role of a parent and husband.

Whereas Raman got married co he wanted to give his daughter a mother not for himself. Ishita got married to Raman coz she thought that Bhallas r terrible human beings n Ruhi must be protected. Whatever compromise they had decided (sirf Ruhi k liye) they decided it together in the coffee shop before marriage and are still following (being good parents to Ruhi).

With Romi I dont see that sense of being a father or even being responsible, he still looks like misguided youth who might get into some other kaand after some time. 😕 Rather than wailing n crying this guy did not even think of getting himself another job - how will he support his kid/wife if at all he gets married to Sarika or shamelessly depend on his brother all his life for his financial needs.

yes. it would have been more palatable if we actually saw Romi asking her to marry him. and apologise for being a *&^% in the first place! Raman going to Sarika won't be too appealing to me.

imagine sarika devrani and Ishita jethani... But saasuma Toshiji makes Ishita do all the house work, and makes her attend to Sarika's every need. Sarika gets Badaam waala doodh and Ishita gets salted lassi or buttermilk... why. cause Ishita can't give me no GKC... all hopes only on Sarika now 👏
