Actually it has happened a lot of times to me. When u read 3 or 4 books by an author, in the 5th book I could guess what the scene will be. And then I stop reading books by those authors.

So I think this mystery is needed.

Undoubtedly the mystery needs to be maintained...especially for II...let her figure him out, but the readers I think deserve a little...just a wee bit, so that we can gleefully enjoy II's predicament!

He doesn't want to tell her about Paris, does he think that she might become pregnant by then and wouldn't want to leave him..is this his ploy...

I don't think he dismisses her EQ, just that he thinks a bit differently...I sometimes get a feeling he indulges her, like he would indulge a child...without really taking her seriously...is it because what is of gigantic importance to her isn't so great a matter for him...the difference between their lifestyles.

I don't know...although you do give us a little peek here and there...but I am just dying to know what he really thinks.

He is sincere in so many ways...genuinely wanting to come see peri appa, the tenderness with which he wished her on her birthday, he even went ahead and agreed to her prenup conditions, although even there I thought he was kinda indulging her...but

Oh god I am rambling so will stop now...and hope another one will soon come our way.

Yes he will still try to get his way, return to Paris sneak a baby on her, be disapproving of her company's product, be uncaring about her Appa's hate for him.

Everyone assumes he is uncaring arrogant and emotionless. Thats not true. I dont worry too much about it so I dont defend him. I dont worry too much about her either so I dont defend her, if people want to believe she is foolish, unrealistic, confused, so be it. Ive had my fill of over smart do gooders have watched them for 20 years on Desi TV (STRICTLY excluding Doordarshan), it would have been terribly repetitive me to craft someone like the 48 or 62 leading ladies that are currently on display... This girl is my therapy.

Similarly this guy is my therapy and all of our collective therapy. By not cheating, by not resorting to perversion I want to communicate that its possible to essay love for a woman. He does things in his own way, he doesnt care about what and how people think of him. Hes lived how he wanted to, he will continue to do so. Hes not hurting anybody,( well, except his Dad... thats unrelated to R&B's life... its something his Dad did...)

Collective low expectations and low opinions will not hurt II and R&B, they have plenty to sort out between themselves.

If they start their marriage saying

R&B & II:

I understand you completely

I love you fully

I will never cheat on you

Your past does not bother me one bit

I admire everything about you

I will never disagree to anything you say when ever I do I will IMMEDIATELY sit down and want to talk about it all through the night so our marriage can be happy

R&B:

I will change from a introverted quiet (assumed arrogant) man into charming gushy talkative dude

II:

I will always take the most sensible practical mature decisions, every problem of yours is my problem I will dive into it the day after the wedding and make it my business to resolve it for you because the reason I married you was because I could investigate Beenu Kumar and make sure father son can have a tearful hug

I want her to be intrigued by why he married her

I want him to be intrigued by WHY she married HIM.

They will do nice things for each other but not go overboard with it. Its not their life's only goal to please their partner...
