And, this is the 2nd time Raman is in conflict with Malhotra, 1st was about Mr. Iyer, that time also Malhotra dint want to believe Raman. I guess, that's enough for a self respected man to leave a job. Whatever Ishita advised him was perfect for RKB, don't know about other men like Mihir or Bala. Some things work according to characteristics.

arey i do not hv anything against ishita in particular! 😊

I don't think so Pallavi . Whatever Ishita advised him , as a wife & caring service woman . Self respect means everyhting to the person . According to me , nothing can be much important than this to anyone . If you aren't respected by those for whom you are working then , what is the need to work for them .
I think Ishu gave the right advice to Raman . He's the CEO , he can easily find any other jobs . If he wouldn't follow her advice , then it would mean other . But Ishu's advice is useful for the respected persons .

Yes, any doubt in that? 😛 It's high time Malhotra should understand Raman's importance. He has been taking Raman for granteed these days. It was Malhotra he brought Mihir in this professional issue, making it a personal issue. The company is because of Raman, Raman is not because of the company and if you are not getting the satisfaction from your work then there is no need to do it as it will be a compromise.

Yes, I agree. Malhotra was not giving Raman the respect he deserves for being a CEO. He's treating him like any ordinary peon despite all the hard work Raman puts into his job. Like Raman said, he was not given the position as a dowry by his FIL, like Malhotra was. He actually worked his way up.

I think Raman will get back to this job, but not yet. I have a feeling Raman will help Mihir on the project as only Raman knows all the particulars about it, and Mihir will tell Malhotra that the credit for the project goes to Raman who was helping him behind the scene. Malhotra will realize his mistake and offer the position to Raman again, or promote him as a sign of apology.

Either that, or Mihir will somehow find out that he got the project at the cost of Raman's job, and he'll feel bad and refuse the project as a sign of friendship to Raman. Then Malhotra will realize no one can do the project but Raman.

Either way, Ishita did not give Raman any bad advice. She just told him that if he's not getting self-respect in his job, then it's better to quit it. It's not like she forced him to do anything, she just advised him as per her best knowledge, and Raman made the choice to follow her advice since he too felt the same in his heart.

In today's day and age loyalty to your company or ones employees holds very little importance once politics comes into the picture.
Gone are the days when people think long and hard if it is plain as day that the MDs decisions are designed to drive Raman to quit. Lots of companies do that as if they fire u they owe your Renumeration while if they corner you into quitting they don't owe you any $$. It is the ugly truth of today's business environment - Raman really did not have much of a choice.

As a wife and a professional Ishita could see this and decided she must support the decision that supports her husbands dignity and self respect. Also she has confidence in his capabilities that he'll find another job. Now I I just pray that Ekta Mayia doesn't repeat the age old trick that mr. Malhotra has bad mouthed Ramans name & he can't get a job due to that ( phuleeze this is not a 70's movie!)
