Wasn't it just beautiful? Finally looks like this track is moving in the right direction.🥳 Instead of the viewers taking turns blaming Raman and Ishu as they have been lately looks like the CVs are finally bringing the focus back to ISHRA and their evolving relationship.
Positive thoughts seem to be paying off- no need to try as hard to be positive anymore...But I still hope the track won't drag too long!😆
Will comment once you put up your thoughts and quotes and collage because I know you are going to knock it out of the park with such brilliant material onscreen! 😉
---EDIT---
Oh G, I knew you'd be brilliant with your work but your surpassed my expectations.👏👏👏
Happy Pongal BTW, it was a real treat for me to see this episode today.
The beginning... for the entire family to watch couple that so reluctantly circled the agni during their wedding make the rounds so lost in love for the reason of staying in love and ties together forever. What growth... Ishu in her red and gold saree and Raman in his veshti- so much like wedding wear, I choose to believe that it's not a coincidence. This time they made the rounds in unison, not hesitating, lost in each other and in the depths of their commitment and love - it was a true treat the the viewers. And the things that they talked of while they circled... the mundane, ordinary things that commenced such wars at the beginning of their union.
The CVs have given us the second engagement, a renewal of the promises and now a redo of their wedding. How beautiful... and how much I adored seeing the statue of Lord Murugan there- after all of Ishu's constant appeals to him, should he not be the one that brings them together like this?
And was it a coincidence that Adhi, who was missing at their first wedding, was present at this 're do'? I don't believe so. He was present yet still an outsider- due to his poisoned mind. Which was again reiterated as the family viewed the pictures- ISHRARU were the singular unit basking in the joy of their love and security and Adhi stood again, by choice and misconceptions- an outsider, trying to fix himself and his mother into slot that's too small for the two of them.
I don't even want to say anything about Ru (how much do love this child? UGH! She owns my heart!!!!) and Ishu's discussion except that it pointed out two things for me. One it made me recall the ISHRARU conversation when Ishu convinced Ru to attend Shagun's wedding- the 2 moms and 2 dads bit. At that time Raman disputed the 2 dad's argument... perhaps this is the hint that it is time for Ramn to address the 2 moms part of the statement. And secondly, this conversation brought home the point that at the end of the day- this will come down to Raman. He has to make a heartbreaking choice , but it's his to make. Ishu can do all she can and so can Shagun but in the end It's about Raman and his reality. And when it comes time I know RKB is going to break our hearts with both his pain and his joy.
Also interesting to me was the interplay of the mother child relationships that were shown between Raman's children, their mother's and grandmothers- the values (seriously po*nima said 'you need a rich man...'🤢 and I really do not understand Shagun's dismisal of Raman's free will) and love (Madhu broke my heart along with her daughter and grandaughter today- remided me so much of the beginning hwen she worried about Ishu's future and Ishu... is there a way to hug someone's heart?) and the things that they find security and comfort in are so drastically different.
Ishita's speech was ...more then heartbreaking. Her psychological state is just so much more. I am in awe of the performance and the nuanced understanding of this amazing woman that the CVs are presenting to us. Because one of the things that stood out to me about the whole speech is that she still feels incredibly lucky to have his love, still feels underserving of it in a way. That is how damaged she is. She loves and loves but to be loved by her love- that's too much, that's a reality that cannot be. 🥺
It's not like she fell in love , realized he loved her and all those insecurities about love disappeared while the ones about being a step mom came to the forefront. Because in reality it's never that easy to sweep away those nagging thoughts of unworthiness and awe- and the CVs have drafted this character with such compassion and understanding that it all just comes together in this one beautiful speech.
I can't even describe my awe for such a beautifully detailed understanding of the psychology of such a woman , I am simply amazed.
So let me add one more to the CV appreciation GIFs
It's going to be a bumpy ride and undoubtedly there will be more pain before the rise but I am so glad to have stuck it out- it's all going to be worth it... but again, 26 episodes should be enough for this to come to an end right? *pout*
Oh missed today's episode due to work pressure and late sitting at office 😕 it seems worth watching!! Luking forward to ur update then will catch the episode at 11. May be i will be able to enjoy it more after ur insights!!
What a beautiful episode and grt quotes gan!! Especially first one about ishita!! I always felt that ishita is trapped in this situation. She has no power to take the decision on adi or on shagun!! And i m glad today she voiced out her discomfort. Its very difficult for her to ask raman to choose between her or adi cz she knows raman wont be able to do that so she is probably waiting for the things to take their due course as the time passes!! They both kno that current arrangement is not the permanent solution to their problem but both r somewhere deferring their decision may be cz adi has recently started to warm up and they both want to give him some time to strengthen his bond with family and especially raman!! So that he can divert adi's mind towards accepting ishita as his wife!! It was always a track regarding a choice raman will make at the end!! If they would have started with this track before realisation of their love for each other then the choice would have been easier but now since both love each other its complex and ruhi is there too which makes it even more complex to handle so i feel this is the perfect time for this track to unfold!! nice! esp the underlined part
And my heart went out to ruhi!! I cant c her in pain!! Finally her insecurities are also addressed which was again much needed!! I felt she is the most intelligent person to voice out that her papa will have to make a choice at the end he cant stay with 2 2 mamas very true!! I hope she asks this question to raman as well as her papa is more answerable to her than her ishima!! There is also a clear contrast the way both ishita and shagun are handling this situation on one side shagun is misguiding adi that raman will choose her and they will be happy family once again and on other hand ishita is telling ruhi that they both love her but not giving clear answer as she herself does not know what destiny holds for her!! I also feel ishita's tolerance level has reached a point and its gonna b poured out in front of raman in near future i m waiting for that day to come!! Hope for the best!! they say sometimes questions from children are hardest to answer as they are brutally honest...what Ruhi asked was a very normal question from a confused little girl ...especially one who has craved parents' love for the first 6 years of her life...and only recently gotten the feel of normalcy.Adi's words must have shaken her again to fear losing her family of Papa-Ishiima-Ru.
Lovely collages! Haven't seen episode but the collages already give an idea of it. You've once again nailed the best parts of the scenes.👍🏼
But can I ask you for your opinion? Don't you think somewhere in her soliloquy she should also address her actions about the divorced couples anniversary and the khandaani earrings?
There's something bittersweet about finding a fandom when it seems dead and buried, but that's how things seem to have worked out this time. I...
