"What's the difference between the love of your life and your soul mate?" she asked.
"One is a choice, and one is not." he replied (MUD VEIN)
A much needed episode and probably on the lines of the 'The Calm before the storm"
What I loved about the episode is the fact that the story is finally moving forward. This is a fictional show, it's all about drama...YHM had the added quality of being able to deliver something out of the box which is why it gained the popularity and prominence it has today and now finally that thr track has gained momentum is surely a cause for celebrations. 😉
The scenes that Stood out...The Parikrama Scene, Ruhi-Ishu scene and to an extent the Ishu-Amma scene.
Raman : Suna tha Murugan se kuch bhi maangu toh woh de dete hai. Socha tumhe hi maang loon.
Ishita : Main toh hoon hi aapki.
The Parikrama scene NO WORDS...Words would do no justice to it...And more that the scene it was the feeling that oozed from the lead protagonists Raman and Ishita that took it to altogether another level. He kept drawing territories, my cupboard, my bed etc and today he wants to share the very same things with her...Can Raman Kumar Bhalla the hubby get any more perfect? The scene had various shades from teasing to taunting to love to reverence ...It was every bit IshRalicious. That scene was symbolic of two flawed building their perfect life even if life has it's own set of challenges and complications. HOPE is what gets you going and I could see every bit of that hope here😊 Hope for a future together not just this life but for the 7 lives to come ❤️
The supporting cast too did a fabulous Job and I wanted to mention this yesterday but forgot so doing it here...When Raman asks Ishu to join him as the pooja was for her it was Toshi Ji's reaction that brightened up that scene...The way she happily and excitedly asks 'Aaja aaja puttar' kinda gives you hope that she can and will see and acknowledge everything that Ishita has done out of the goodness of her heart and will stand rock solid by her daughter (Could be a wishful thinking but ki fark padta hai).
Ru...What can I tell about her? Ruhanika could give the adults of the show a run for their money especially in emotional scenes...She cries so earnestly that it gets to you. She has always stood as a shield for her Ishima...Yes all the talks from her brother did cause fear in her little heart and she asks the one person she is confident would take away the uneasiness and calm her but when time comes she will as always protect her mother from harms way. We have seen the others look at the 6 year old with Awe when she speaks for, defends, advocates for her mother because such valid and remarkable are her points and questions so Shagun and Adi can try all they want Ruhi will always change the game in favor of her Papa and Ishima. Seeing Ruhi for more than just 2-3 mins was a relief. For me she is the soul of the show...she is the reason that this chain of events even started and so it's my selfish desire to see her more plus she can act...instead of wasting an episode on Aditya I'd be elated if they could rope in Ruhi.
Ruhi is a samajhdaar bacha, the maturity she displays at such a young age leaves you speechless and like always she does exactly that when trying to calm the big baby of the show (Seriously can't handle this kid anymore). Just 2-3 weeks back she fought with her parents and told them that she is not going anywhere on coming to know that the judge had re-opened her custody case...She was just beginning to feel safe when Aditya throws in another curve ball by telling her that Ishima is an outside and has to go. For Ruhi her perfect world and perfect family consists of only Ishita and Raman...(the inclusion of Adi too is Raman induced) her tiny heart once again fears that she will lose her safe haven.
Honestly Ishita's scene with Amma could have been executed more smartly...Instead of making it preachy (And it's not tough to do) they could have made it more realistic and logical which would have done the trick better. Execution should have been a little more crisp here if they wanted the viewers or rather the intelligent viewers to associate with the scenario. But I still get it...an outburst was needed and this is how Ishu reacts (We have seen it earlier too)
I never thought Ishita was wrong in bring Shagun and Adi home...so far in this track the only thing that put me off is the anniversary celeb. and the ancestral earring handing over scenes. Baring that I never found anything wrong from Ishita's part. Raman expressed his displeasure over her stunt, she said sorry they hugged and made up..Kissa Khatam. Ever since Ishita go to know about Aditya and not from Shagun's venom spewing mouth on the day of IshRa wedding...but from Raman himself she has seen first hand how much Rman years for Aditya's love. How much he loves his son and what it was for him to be away from his own kid for 6 years. For her to be able to bring the father-son duo together or atleast make way for the same will be something that she will try to achieve because it would make Raman happy. That's Ishu's point...that is what she is aiming at Raman's happiness. Plus post the pill exchange drama Ishita is also maintaining her distance from Adi, something she should have done earlier par koi nahi der aaye durust aaye. Having said that Ishita realize that we live in an imperfect world and there is no way one can make everybody happy, yes you can try but at what cost? Ruhi's question should tell Ishita enough and get her to think that her actions will have effects on Ruhi too. Hopefully that aspect will also be covered
Haan I wouldn't mind if they made her a little more alert and smart while dealing with Shagun...Ishu does not have to hold grudges but keeping in mind what all Shagun has done in the past a little toning down in general when it comes to dealing with Shagun would have been a welcome change.
No comments on the PP and Shagun scene but the scene that followed sure made me sadistically happy.
Shagun: Adi se zyada Raman ke liye aur kisi ka pyaar nahi hai. Ishita toh uski zindagi mein abhi abhi aayi. Aasani se main usse nikal doongi. Raman ne apni zindagi ke 6 saal mere pyaar mein pagal hokar bitaya hai. Iss Ishita ki pyaar ka bhoot toh main aasani se uthar doongi
Knock Knock !!
Whose there?
REALITY!!!!
Shagun gloats about breaking Ishita and Raman apart like it's a piece of cake for her and REALITY crushes her when Adi sends her IshRa's Pic. The way that smirk was wiped clean from her face...Waah Aanand , Paramanand!!!
Seriously Karma is a BITCH!!!!
Can somebody get more delusional than Shagun? Pyaar chutki main uski khatam hogayi thi because she herself ended it. Neither Raman nor Ishita wants their relationship to END infact everyday they just express how they want more of each other😳
Everybody except for Gautam Ahuja was splendid. I have nothing against the kid but it's disappointing to see a complex character like this one going to waste due to poor acting and emoting 🤢
Over all an episode that indicated that 'Gaadi chal rahi hai'
Cheers
