He is a real person , with real feelings then they can be whatever, lust , greed, pride etc. But atleast he had the guts to speak in front of Ishita that she was trying to be Jagat Mata for someone like Shagun who does not deserve even an ounce of sympathy , HE KNOWS SHAGUN And he did well to warn Ishita and show SHagun the mirror once again...

He is not afraid of showing his grief, his broken heart , in a party like this, when his tormentors are putting up a show to trouble him further. He is not afraid to admit that he is hurt not only to Vandu Akka but also to the betrayer herself - loved it when he confronted Mihika...
Someone else with false pride would have tried to ignore as if it didn't affect him, or would have left the party long ago like a coward , so WELL DONE Mihir👏👏👏👏
