So here goes my OS on Ruhi's Birthday. Thanks for giving me this challenge SAKIV-RAM. I hope it is upto everyone's expectations 😃
RUHI'S BEST BIRTHDAY
Raman woke up to the sound of something dropping on the floor. He opened his eyes to see ishita standing at a distance looking hell shocked. Her face went bright red and raman saw the reason behind her bright red face. His brain was screaming at him to turn around but his heart was burning in desire when he saw her with just a towel wrapped around her delicious body. So he ended up gazing at her shamelessly. Ishita's scream brought him back to earth.
Ishita: RAMAN!!! Please turn around!!
Raman: Kyun? Biwi ho tum meri.
Ishita: Haan lekin please turn around raman.
Raman: What if I don't want to? Waise tum yahan towel mein kya karrahi ho? Trying to seduce your husband?
Ishita: Aisa kuch nahi hai raman. Please turn around. I forgot to take my clothes into the bathroom with me. Issiliye aise bahar aana pada. Now please.
Raman: Ohhh. Lekin ishita, tum humesha kapde lekar hi andar jaate hai na. Toh aaj kyun? Aaj apne patidev ko maarne ka iraada hai kya?
Ishita: Ramannn. Woh aaj ruhi ki birthday hai na. Issiliye main excitement mein bhool gayi. Please na raman. Turn around.
To ishita's surprise, raman got up from the bed and made his way towards the wardrobe where ishita was glued to her spot. He cornered her there and brought his hand towards the knot of the towel. Ishita's eyes widened in horror as she registered her husband's acts. She tried dodging past him but he was quick to grab hold of her hand and pull her towards him. He caressed her wet hairs and planted a kiss on her forehead.
Raman: You look divine. Do you even have any idea what you are doing to me?
He kissed her cheeks and carressed her arms.
Raman: Whenever you come this close to me I just want to grab you and kiss these red red cheeks.
He kissed her nose and touched his nose to hers. Ishita could only blush harder if possible.
Raman: I've always wanted to do that. You have a cute nose you know.
He kissed her eyes and traced a line towards her lips. Ishita's breathing became shallow with the sensations he was causing to her.
Raman: Whenever I see those eyes of yours, I drown in them. Your eyes speak volumes, ishita. They tell me much more than you'll ever say.
He traced her trembling lips with his thumb. The sensations sent a shiver down her spine.
Raman: And these lips...
Right then, they heard a knock on the door followed by the loud voice of toshiji.
Toshiji: Oye ishita puttar. Bahut kaam baaki hai. Jaldi bahar aao!
Raman sighed and looked at a smiling ishita. She pushed him away and ran inside the bathroom with her clothes. Raman cursed his fate and sat on the bed pouting. "This is not over yet, madrasan!", he thought to himself and smirked.
Ishita came out of the bathroom all fresh and ready to start the secret preparations for her daughter's birthday. She wanted to make the day special for ruhi so she had decided to give her a surprise party in the evening.
As soon as ishita went out, ruhi ran into her arms happily. She knew her ishima would wish her before anyone so she was a little disappointed when ishita didn't show any signs of excitement other than smiling broadly and kissing her goodmorning.
At breakfast even nobody wished her and little ruhi felt like crying. She ran into her room as soon as she finished breakfast and sat on her bed with teary eyes. Shagun got the chance she was waiting for. She went inside the room with a small teddy bear.
Shagun: Ruhi. Happy birthday beta. Yeh lo tumhari gift.
Ruhi: You remember?
Shagun: Ofcourse I remember. How can I forget my baby girl's birthday? I'm not like your ishima. See ishima has forgotten that today's your birthday. A mother never forgets her children's birthdays. But she did.
Just then shravu ran into the room and held ruhi's hand.
Shravu: Ruhi, aaj chutti haina. Chalo hum dono milke khelenge! Chalo.
So ruhi spent the entire day playing and sulking around the house. Nobody bothered to wish her happy birthday as per the plan. Ishita also went out stating that she had to go to clinic and raman went saying he had office. Romi also went out saying he was going out with friends. But they actually went to start the preparations.
At evening ishita came home and went to ruhi's room. She was sitting on the bed with tears in her eyes. Shravu was trying to divert her mind but still she kept crying. Ishita went in and hugged her.
Ishita: Why is my baby crying? Please don't cry. Accha chalo ishima ke saath. Shravu aap bhi chalo paati bhula rahi hain!
Ishita carried ruhi to her amma's house. As soon as they opened the door everyone screamed "surprise" together and started clapping. Ruhi saw decorations of her favourite colors and lots of wrapped gifts. There were balloons everywhere and raman had also arranged for mascots of ruhi's favourite cartoon characters.
Ruhi looked at ishita knowing very well that it was all her ishima's plan. She kissed her.
Ishita: Happy birthday meri jaan. I love you so much. And ishima didn't forget your birthday. Ishima was planning to surprise her little angel.
Raman came and extended his arms to her.
Raman: Happy birthday ruhi chuhi. You liked the surprise?
Ruhi: I loved it!!! Thankyou ishima. Thankyou papa!!! You are the best parents ever.
Saying so, she kissed her parents and hugged both of them together. Everyone clapped harder. Shagun was fuming in anger and rolled her eyes.
Everyone showered ruhi with gifts and ruhi was elated. Mihir came in with a BIG birthday cake and ruhi jumped up and down in excitement.
Shagun came and stood next to ruhi when she was cutting the cake. But to her utter shock, ruhi completely ignored her and gave the first bite to ishita. But she gestured her to give the first bite to raman. Ruhi extended her hand to feed cake to her papa when he held her hand and told her to give the first bite to ishita.
Ishita: Kya hai raman. Aap ruhi ki papa hai. Pehla bite aapka.
Raman: Ho madrasan. Tum ruhi ki maa hoon na. Toh pehla bite tumhara.
Ishita: Raman. You were the one who spent so much on this party. So you should get the first bite.
Raman: Ishita meri baat maano. All this was planned by you so you should get the first bite.
The family shook their heads at the stubborn couple while ruhi giggled.
Ruhi: Offo! Ishima, papa. How much will you fight? I have a better idea!
Saying so, she made the cake slice into two pieces and fed both raman and ishita at the same time. Everyone looked at the cute little family and clapped.
The time came for the biggest gift to be gifted to ruhi. It was from raman and ishita. Ruhi immediately ran upto the wrapped gift which was bigger than her. Raman helped her open the gift and ruhi screamed seeing it. It was a big doll house which she had always dreamed of having. She ran around the house laughing and into her parents arms.
Ruhi: Thankyou thankyou thankyou papa and ishima!!! You know I've always wanted a doll house like this. Thankyou so much.
Ishita: Anything for my little princess.
Raman: Ruhi, you know this isn't the biggest gift you'll receive. The biggest gift you'll ever receive is the love of your loved ones.
The whole family screamed at once: AND WE ALL LOVE YOU SOOO MUCH ROOH!!!
Shagun: But ruhi. That doesn't change the fact that I was the one who wished and gave you a gift first.
Raman: Ruhi beta. Sometimes the first doesn't matter. What matters is the last. Because the last one is the one which will stay with you forever.
Saying so, raman looked at ishita who smiled back at him.
A silent soul was witnessing all this and a tear escaped his eyes seeing the love and gifts showered upon his sister. And for the first time ever, he wondered whether his mother was right in everything she said. "A person cannot pretend that much", he thought.
When everyone was about to call it a night, raman held ishita's hand and told everyone to wait.
Raman: I need to confess something first.
Ishita: Raman kya karrahi ho?
Raman: Nahin ishita. You will listen today. And you will not talk until I finish. Get that?
The family looked on curious at him as raman pulled ishita closer to him. He held both her hands and gazed into her eyes.
Raman: Ishita, the day you stepped into my life you changed it into something so beautiful and meaningful. I realized it late but you gave me a reason to live.
He stopped to take a deep breath and looked over at a fuming shagun who had her eyebrows knitted in anger. He switched his concentration back to ishita and continued.
Raman: Yes, you may not be the first woman in my life but I want you to be the last woman I'll ever love. You may not be the first woman who made me feel loved but I want you to be the only woman who would make me feel loved to the core. I may not be able to tell you this everyday but I want you to know that you mean the world to me. I cannot imagine living a single moment without you because I have found in you the woman I want to spend the rest of my life with. And today infront of everyone, I want to tell you; ishita, you are my dream come true. I love you so much. Are you willing to spend the rest of your life with this raavan kumar of yours?
Ishita's tears flowed down her cheeks as he finished and she could only nod her head in approval. The world faded into air as she crushed herself to him and hugged her tight.
Ishita: I love you too raman. I love you so much. I fell in love with you before I even realized I did.
Ruhi was the first one who started clapping and jumping. The whole family shed tears of happiness seeing the couple finally admit their love. Admist all this shagun realized that she can never make a place in raman's life now. She realized the true meaning of losing a diamond while collecting the stones.
When ishita finally broke from the hug and became conscious of the surrounding, she blushed hard and looked at raman who smiled at her. Vandu came and elbowed her.
Vandu: Sleepless night ahead haina?
Simmi: Haan haan vandu. Ruhi, you won't disturb your papa and ishima tonight okay?
Ruhi: Okay simmi bua. I'm ready to do anything you ask today. Because this is the BEST BIRTHDAY EVER!
Everyone laughed and teased the couple. They laughed at their embarassed faces while ruhi came and jumped into her ishima's arms. Raman held ishita's free hand and entwined his fingers with hers. Today he felt like he was the happiest man alive!
"Sometimes I wonder why I fell in love with you in the first place, and continue to love you even after all the pain. And then you smile at me and I realize why; because without you, I can't breathe''
