Can't say I loved the epi as a lot of things irked me.
I am not one for guilt trip and self sacrifice but in this case I am all for it coz Raman was really taken for granted. He was repeatedly made to feel less of a husband and father with no one understanding his pain. He was made to feel unworthy, useless and incapable by his own family members!!
My only objection to this was Ruhi's angle but that too has been put to rest in the recent micro custody track. Writers didn't leave any stones unturned to hammer that only Ishita matters to Ruhi and family. The court notice arrived in the name of Ishita Bhalla only. All testified to sing praises of Ishita, that she is best parent, that only she can give happiness to Ruhi so please don't separate them. The fact that Raman is Ruhi's father and is equally devastated was completely overlooked, completely brushed aside. Even Ruhi except when her father told her he will leave was fully Ishita ki chamchi. All for Ishita. Final nail in coffin was the judge gave custody to Ishita only and not to Raman and Ishita Bhalla...
Raman was as good as a distant relative in these episodes...
Tonight marked the grand re entry of Mani. I must say that ishani are made for each other.
On one side you have Mani:
The guy sits there and listens to Raman say " I am a failure and you take care of my wife when I am gone"...But not for one instant did he feel uncomfortable! Instead he listens calmly as if what Raman was saying made perfect sense, was complete truth and perfectly normal 🤢 No remorse, no feeble attempt to say it ain't so...
On the other side we have Ishita:
She still doesn't get it that something is wrong when her husband is repeatedly taking her friend's name, asking her to spend time with him and that they (Ishani) only understand each other wah 👏
If that wasn't enough it's only after she gets a character certificate of her husband from her so called best friend, that she feels it's time to confess her love 🤔
And what character certificate man! it's as if all Mani wanted to hear from Raman is "Ishita is the best, I am a failure who doesn't deserve her" only after these words Mani feels Raman is worthy of Ishita. Simply pukeworthy...
Now I have read that confession won't happen? What was the need then of this drama and re entry of the unwanted idiot?
Anyway I am really really disheartened, disappointed that Raman will not leave and that most probably absolutely no one (Mani, Ishita and Toshi in particular) will be made to realise how much they pushed him down, how it was them who led him to feel this way and ultimately made him want to leave
Instead he will say sorry and be made to feel like a fool, simply great...🥺🤢😡really no hope for equality in this show anymore...
On side note: is Mihika in love with Ashok? After all that happened she is still taking his call and then writers want audience to feel sorry for her...🤪
@ Kavi - superb, awesome post. You said it all. No need to say that I absolutely agree with you.
Raman's feelings have no importance, and it doesn't look like they ever will...
