@Z, Ishita-Mani's overly friendship has irked me too and if Raman had done this then, then it would have made more sense.

All I am saying is that his thoughts of a separation at this point when he already knows that she loves him and he has also accepted her friendship with Mani in the right sense, seems foolish.

Powerful CEO Raman Kumar Bhalla who could turn everything to his tunes seems lost, perhaps the slot brought about the transformation. He no more thinks logically! If that powerful Raman returns, then none can hurt Ishita and his family

Anyways I know that this is just to bring in more drama before the confession.
