Hello my dear, been awaiting eagerly for your post on the Ishra moments this week and was not disappointed - thank you 😃.
I am nevertheless not known for my positivity and so have shared above my skepticism about the happy moments. I sincerely hope I don't offend you or anyone else reading this post. 😳
P/s have a fabulous Sunday - I shall spend it looking forward to YHM's coming week...
Helllooo buddy! First never apologize about your views, we are all different and that what makes human interaction interesting and appealing, where would be the fun if we all thought the same. So no you didn't offend me, I do not take myself seriously to think of myself highly so there is no way to offend in the virtual world 😊.
You know I do share a couple of your grievances with the show about these two never really talking about their past, and I was really upset that these two never addressed the drunken incident of Raman forcing himself on Ishita but then I had two options, either to get over it and enjoy this couple's journey or stop watching, so I chose the former.
To me if look past the TRP drama and a few snafu's from the CV, I think this love story has tremendous maturity, strength and courage. What I love about them is the fact that they do not need words to express how they feel because their souls are so intertwined that one when hurts then other feels the pain or how could we explain that Raman understood Ishita had something on her mind as soon as she entered their room.
For this couple, their vulnerabilities are out in the open for everyone to see and that marvelous and pitiful at the same time. Ishita's inability to conceive is her biggest vulnerability and that is known to the whole wide world and Raman understands that, he never questions her over protectiveness with Ruhi, he never questions her over indulgent love with Ruhi, I still remember the scene after a random party Ishita had asked him, 'You know I can never give you children, and you love Adi and Ruhi, you will never get that happiness with me, so why did you chose to marry me?' I loved how naked she was then in front of him sitting on that white bench and I loved how he assured her about her place in his life. Time and again Ishita has told Raman, 'Respect Shagun, she is the mother of your children, she gave you all these beautiful memories' and he retorts back, 'we will make our own memories'.
Raman on the other hand is a book half open for the world to see it's just that's hard to read the handwriting, only people with patience and a good eye can read him and thankfully Ishita possess that. His biggest vulnerability is his estranged relationship with his son, and he has laid that out open in front of Ishita, he has cried in front of her for his son, he has apologized to her for his mistakes and he carried the guilt of this estranged relationship every day. Ishita is not only reassuring him but slowly is helping him heal.
So in my eyes these two deal with their most vulnerable self and help each other grow, it might not happen in the manner I like it or the pace of it but if I look past the TRP crap I see a two folks trying desperately to make their relationship work by putting in hard work!
lol I don't know if i answered any of your questions or just confused me and everyone else reading this 🤣
Also I welcome your skepticism because I am overly optimistic...let's keep each other in check!
