To have a true campanion through out life is what we strive for...this gives meaning to our life, we are wanted, we are loved, we are remembered ...all gives us a true feeling of the worth of our life, the meaning of our life...

I loved how you have connected Simmi to Ishra's past. Whom other than them can understand her pain, her state of life. When Simmi's problem was put in the forefront, there was a discussion between Ishra : Ishita asked him, you should have understood it better, since you know what is to be cheated by your first love...Shagun : she told, I know how it feels because I lost my first love... the first mention of her love of past to him...the moment he understood that she feels that he still loves Shagun. Now, again as you said, the reaction of Raman when she said about being lonely was again this...understanding her more...This was he was doing all the time after he had fallen in love with her...he has never left her alone...he pampers his wife...; that was she doing when she had fallen in love with him...never left her alone...couldn't bear the distance that was created (Sanjan's case)...she cried uncontrollably...

"Some think love can be measured by the amount of butterflies in their tummy. Others think love can be measured in bunches of flowers, or by using the words 'forever'. But love can only truly be measured by actions. It can be a small thing, such as peeling an orange for a person you love because you know they don't like doing it."
-Marin Keyes
Isn't this the true love between Raman and Ishita; loving beyond words, accepting one another...their love are in their actions. Raman does things now because he feels that this may worry his wife; Ishita does the same. In love our self become the self of our partner...then we begin to live for that self of ours. When she came to know about what her heels has done to him, she rejected it. She came for him as he wants her. When she told, leave that stool, I will leave my heels, he without thinking leaves it, and was waiting for her...his trust on her that she will remove her's for him...Both enjoyed the moment then...a moment of their own between the whole family...a circle of love for each other and a circle of love for their family...

Once again Doc, wonderful post.

Lovely post and I loved the quote! 😊 You are so spot on when you say that our self becomes the self of our partner, this statement of yours perfectly describes Ishra. The scene you mentioned when they talk about their first love, was absolutely brilliant, I loved that scene for several reasons, 1) We got to see Ishita'a pain as somene who failed in love for the very 1st time in front of Raman 2) Raman understood that Ishita can hurt as well and I think his eyes opened that day towards Simmi's angst as not just a sister but someone struggling with love 3) For the 1st time I saw Raman as a husband when he felt pain seeing his wife talk about her past.
As you can tell I love the scene lol, I loved when he looked at her when she was consoling Simmu with her talk of loneliness, like you mentioned he understood her, these two with just their eyes say so much! 😳

Seldom do we get to see such maturity ...
My heart fills with immense joy just to see what they mean to each other...

Well fiction may take its own course under the duress of TRPs...
But all one has to do is look deeper into the essence of the relationship...as it is...

Hope the writers do justice to what they set forth for...

Thanks for the lovely post.

Thank you for your lovely comment 😊, I completely agree with you that if we look past the TRP drama there lies a mature and beautiful love story between two hurting individuals and their small gestures of love just drive me crazy 😆

What can I say about your post? ... truly inspired! I love it.. I am gonna fangirl over your post- that's how much I love it! *High 5!* *High 5!* back to you! And no fangirling over the post, let's fangirl over Ishra

I can't say any more or any better than what you have here, very thoroughly and sensitively explained.
And the anecdote from WW, so well suited for this ... I just .. there is nothing I don't love and no way I can love this more! The post is perfect, the pic is perfect, you are perfect! That is all! 🤗Stop it! Ishra are perfection and I love love love TWW, if i could quote from it everyday if could lol, I am glad you liked all the couples incorporated, I usually just talk about Ishra but this week the other storylines were brilliant!

Actually maybe there is one possible way to improve this... more pix of that beautiful man... but that's neither here nor there.. one pic or ten, he is drool worthy no matter what!😆 That's G's department, we can request her to bombard us with puttar pics but I would rather not because then I'll lose all of my Sunday and nothing productive will be achieved. 😃

On that note, I wanted to mention here , since well... it's you, and I figure you must be the president of any such society- I have officially given in to the power of the great RKB! ... Do I get a t-shirt? membership card? Is there a secret handshake? Let me know.😉 OMG yes! Let's get you a membership card and a T-shirt for signing up! Secret handshake is uncontrollable gush fest over puttar lol, and I do not blame you for giving in to the power and charm of RKB!

"The best relationships in our lives are the best not because they have been the happiest ones, they are that way because they have stayed strong through the most tormentful of storms." ~Pandora Poikilos, Excuse Me, My Brains Have Stepped Out

(I know I used this in G last post but I feel this quote fits your post perfectly too)

"No, he said, we are not alone. I have you, and you have me. And there is Arya and Nasuada and Orik, and many others besides who will help us along our way." ~ Christopher Paolini, Brisingr

Doc what a wonderful post. It is so beautiful written, no surprise there. I love how you have beautiful described the changing of the four couples relationships and how it has effected Ishra. You have done a tremendous job is describing this week's episodes. 👏⭐️

The Simmi and Ishra scene was beautifully written and enacted by the cast. I love how Raman and Ishita are supporting Simmi in her time of need. Who would understand the betrayal in love better than these two people. Ishita didn't expect Sabbu to break the marriage when she found out that she couldn't be a mother. Ishita knows the pain of not expecting your love to be something he is not. Raman knows what it like to grow through a loveless marriage. Both of these trails in these two individual people will help someone who recently realized the beytral. These two have so much love for their loved ones and they will definitely help Simmi overcome this hard time. Simmi has come a long way and I am loving this new Simmi. My favourite line by Simmi was when she said "He doesn't deserve to be the father of my daughter when he cannot respect other people's daughters.

Raman and Ishita are honestly the best siblings out there. Helping Mihika overcome her fears and hurt. Mihir and Mihika are the young couple in love. They have only known how to love one another. They haven't really faced the hurt and the beytral of love. They probably haven't faced the hurdles and trails of making a relationship work. Love isn't easy. You have to work at every day. There will be good days and bad days, and Mihir and Mihika are facing the bad days. But if there love is strong they will overcome these bad day like they did with the MMS fisco. I know Ishra will support MiMi and help them overcome this because they have the experience how to find the light in the darkness.

Now coming to Raman and Ishtia. I could not agree with you more on how Ishita and Raman are each other's courage. Their love is pure and very innocent. It is because these two individuals separately are pure and innocent themselves, it makes their love even more beautiful. They feel in love with each other's souls and it that journey was honestly one of the most beautiful tracks on this show. Not knowing when you fell in love with that person and slowly realizing is something else. Also because they have been the bad in a relationship they know value of true love. Ishita is Raman's light and Raman is Ishita's light. Ishita came into Raman's life when there was only darkness around him and slowly he started to see the light. Now these two lights are deeply in love that no matter when the darkness hits them, they know that they would never fall as its victim because there will always be a light shinning down on them to find their way back. they have become each others strength, courage, light, friend, and now lovers. They are most stable couple in the show because their journey to where they are now was no easy. Patience is rewarding and their patience has given them something neither of one thought they would get; unconditional love.

I leave you now a poem by Rumi:

The beauty of the heart

is the lasting beauty:

its lips give to drink

of the water of life.
Truly it is the water,

that which pours,

and the one who drinks.

All three become one when

your talisman is shattered.

That oneness you can't know

by reasoning

But after reading your post now i understand what he thought at time.. those words reminded him that time when he loved shagun.. but she never valued his love or never paid attention to his love.. he was alone .. how beautiful you described this scen.. ishra came long way from where they started... today they don't need words to know what going on in others mind.. they talk more threw there eyes.. there little simple gestures are enough to understand how much they love and respect each other... i loved how ishita let go of her heels to make Raman comfortable... it was Beautiful very small and simple but something very effective... the song "Rehna Tu. Hai jaisa tu" is one of my favorite song.. yes ishra accepted each other the way they are... they don't need long romantic Dilouges or don't have to be very touchy touchy.. a simple Eyelock of ishra speaks volumes of there love... and we love this simplicity of ishra relation... ❤️

Very Beautiful Post loved it 😳

Thank you so much for a lovely comment and all your kind words! 😊
First things first, if you love Rehna tu like I do..check this unplugged version out, whenever listen to it, I get transported to a place so serene and beautiful, I love the arrangement of this song and how the beat drops!

I love Ishra for the same reason as you, they talk through their eyes, they understand each other and they do not words to do any of this. Yesterday with just one look he understood that she has something on her mind, she didn't have to say anything, their eyes talked and that's it! Gosh I love this couple ❤️
Also for all I know Raman might be feeling guilty, I just interpreted that look as understanding the loneliness one would feel in a loveless marriage. I don't know if I am right about it or not lol
