CHAPTER SIXTY FIVE
It was the morning when Ishita was getting ready to leave. She barely slept because she couldn't wait ro get ye hell out of that hospital and also she couldn't wait to just get away from everything. Is she was being honest she just wanted to leave and go far away where not many people knew her or who she was. Like a new beginning. It brought tears to her eyes when she thought about Raman and what could have been of her life if not for this Tarish fiasco. Their life together was just about to begin, they were going to start living for more than their children but also for each other but for as long as she was this way, there was no way she would allow herself you be anywhere near Raman.
Mean while Aditya and Ruhi had learnt a thing or two about how cunning one could be. As they sat down in their car as always ready to go to school, they went to work as they had planned the night before
'Adi Bhaiya, I really am going to Miss Ishima...'' Said Ruhi
'Me too but what to do? Jai uncle says she is going to Mumbai instead...'' Said Aditya
'I wish I could see her and say goodbye..'' Said Ruhi as tears filled her eyes
'No Ruhi we have to go to school, maybe we shall go to Mumbai in the holidays...'' Said Aditya
'But that is too far... I want to see Ishima Adi please... Take me to Ishima...'' Said Ruhi as she began to heretically cry
'Ruhi calm down Ruhi...'' Said Aditya as he tried to console his sister
'Okay Fine, Driver can you please drive by the hospital. We won't take long...'' Said Aditya
'But Adi the hospital is on the other side of town. Your far...'' The driver tried to reason
'You really want to drive with her screaming like this in the back of the car...'' Said Aditya
''Aaahhh I want to go to Ishima...'' Ruhi cried some more throwing tantrums
'Okay fine just calm her down...' Said the drive which caused Ruhi who was supposedly crying to start smiling she hide back the fits of laugher in her sobs
'Haan Ruhi calm down, See we are going to the hospital...'' Said Aditya as he slowly high fived his sister for a job we accomplished
'Did she calm down...'' asked the driver
'Yeah she is calm for now...'' Said Aditya
'You kids I swear you are way too spoilt...'' Grumbled the driver causing Aditya to smile
They drove for a while as the children all anxiously awaited because they were not even sure if their plan was going to work. They thought that if they convinced her to maybe comeback for them that she would but Aditya knew better so he had a proper plan B
When they got to the hospital, Jai was carrying breakfast and taking it to Ishita's room when they finally bumped into each other
'Whoa what are you two doing here this early in the morning. Aren't you supposed to be in school.'' Asked Jai
'Yes but we came to see Ishima first...'' Said Ruhi
'Well who you came with you...'' Asked Jai
'The driver drove us here...'' Said Aditya
'Wait Raman let the driver drive you here all alone...'' Said Jai but both the kids just looked at each other and didn't answer
'He doesn't know that you are here does her?'' asked Jai to which they nodded indication no
'Aditya that was not very wise of you to do...'' Said Jai
'If we asked dad to let us come he would have said no and yet we wanted to come and see her before...'' Said Ruhi but then suddenly went quiet
'Before what...'' Asked Jai but they didn't answer
'Before what Aditya, I am talking to you..'' he added
'Before she left... We know she is going to Mumbai so we wanted to convince her not to go and come back home, with us...'' Said Aditya as tears filled his eyes
Jai looked at them and felt guilty and sad at the same time. They were here planning all these things and none of them even remembered how all this was going to affect the children. He looked at them and nodded his head smiling at how Ishita's stubbornness was actually been infested in that Bhalla Clan down to the core.
'Come on in, she just woke up...'' he said leading them inside
Ishita was seated on the bed talking to her mother when suddenly the door opened and in walked the two people she was least expecting to see especially today
'Ruhi... Aditya... Oh My God what are you two doing here...'' Said Ishita
'Ishima...'' Said Ruhi as she ran to where Ishita was and embraced her
'How are you doing? And how come you're here this early is everything okay...'' Asked Ishita
'Yes everything s fine. We just wanted to see you that is all...'' Said Aditya as he came forward and embraced her holding her tight like he was holding on for his life
'You know when you were with me, I took you for granted and never really understood what it would mean if you up and left and then one day you didn't come home. I was so scared and so worried that you would never wake up. I never ever want to have that feeling in my heart ever again...'' He added letting out silent sobs
'Haan... Me too...'' Said Ruhi as she joined them
'I really miss you Mom...'' Said Aditya his arms still around her
'Aditya...'' Ishita whispered as tears filled her eyes as well
Ishita felt like smiling and screaming with joy and crying at the same time. She couldn't even believe she had actually heard him and it took a minute for her to completely digest what he had just called her. Her heart was pounding so fast bursting with pride as she took her kids into her embrace and held them and in that moment nothing else mattered except them and the only thing missing was Raman which caused Ishita to tear u even more
Everyone who was in that room knew how far Ishita and Aditya's relation had come to get to that point. As Aditya stayed there holding her as he let out silent sobs caused everyone to have Goosebumps and some even tear up a little because that has to be the most honest thing any of them had ever seen him or head him be. He was not the angry boy anymore; he was finally just a kid.
'You know Mama, Aditya and I have something to say...'' Said Ruhi as she finally let go f her mother after a while
'Yes we have a presentation but we want to do it in private...'' Said Aditya as he let go as well turning to look at everyone else who was in the room
'Oh really what is it all about...'' Ishita asked
'It is about...'' Ruhi tried to talk but Aditya interrupted
'In private Ruhi...''
'Oh Haan. If you are to stay you have to be really quiet...'' Said Ruhi to which Aditya just nodded his head saying
''You're completely hopeless I swear...''
'Sorry Bhaiya but I want them to listen as well. They are the ones...'' Ruhi said
'Oh okay then, it actually makes sense...'' said Aditya
'See I can be smart too you know...'' Ruhi said
Meanwhile everyone was looking at them curious to know what the hell was going one as they watched both of them get into their pockets and slowly take out pieced of paper and unfolding them
'Okay the presentation is about why you should stay here in Delhi with us at the Bhalla Mansion...'' Said Ruhi
'Whaattt...'' Said Ishita who was taken a back at what Ruhi had just said.
Ishita was not just going to ran away, she never wanted them to find out like this, she wanted to properly explain to them why she needed to do this. It was not fair that she is not the one who told them about it.
'Shhsss Mom, you are to remain quiet until the presentation is done...'' Said Aditya
Jai smiled when he heard Aditya talk to Ishita because if there was a way to get to her then Aditya had managed to get it. This would at least get her to listen to them even if she didn't want. He chuckled under his breath impressed at how manipulating they could be and he was glad that they were doing it for the right reasons
'Reason one, The Bhalla Mansion comes with two adorable children, my cute self and my adorable slightly annoying brother Aditya. You get used to him after a while I promise he will grow on you...'' Said Ruhi playfully
'Ruhi stop...'' Said Aditya which caused everyone in the room to break into fits of laughter at Aditya's expression and Ishita just chuckled and smiled
Mrs. Iyer looked at her and she could genuinely say this was the first time Ishita had genuinely smiled. There was a sparkle in her eyes that she had not seen since they had been in that hospital
'Sorry Bhaiya...'' Said Ruhi slightly holding her ear and biting her tongue playfully before she continued
'It has the most amazing father in the world, the every handsome Raman Kumar Bhalla, we like to call him Papa...''
'Mr. and Mrs. Bhalla although overly protective are the best amazing grandparents in the world. Romi, the cool uncle ...'' Said Aditya but Abhimanyu interrupted
'Hey I thought that was me...''
'Haan but Romi has really cool games...'' Said Aditya
'Adi Bhaiya but he has the lasted play station...'' Said Ruhi which caused Aditya to think then say
'Okay Romi second coolest uncle...'' causing everyone to chuckle and Ishita to smile as well
'Shhsss...'' Said Ruhi
'Simmi is a bit crazy but she has a lot of love in her heart.'' Said Aditya
'We also have a pool even though we do not get to use it a lot but still, it counts right...'' Said Ruhi looking at everyone in the room
'Of course...'' Said Mihika
'Right...'' Said Jai
'Definitely...'' Said Mr. Iyer which surprised his wife as she smilingly looked at him
'We have the Balcony which dad likes to call the Bhalla Sanctuary although now when he goes there he is sad a lot...'' Said Ruhi as she suddenly went sad again
'He says it is not a sanctuary now that you're not there...'' Said Aditya as tears filled his eyes which caused Ishita to tear up as well
'What would happen if you left? This mansion will collapse as it is beginning to...'' Said Ruhi
'Papa is sad a lot, Dadaji and Dadiji are always sad. Simmi Aunty cries a lot and Romi is really scarce. We do not get to spend time with him like we used to...'' Said Aditya
'The dinners we ate together, remember Ishima how fun that was, we don't do that anymore...'' Said Ruhi as she folded the paper in her hand and turned to her brother
'We heard the pretty doctor tell Papa that you are not well that is why you want to leave...'' Said Aditya which caused Ishita to tilt her head a little and look at her sibling curious as to who the pretty doctor was
'She said you needed a safe place and a lot of love. She said you needed a safe... Urrrmmm what was the word...'' Said Ruhi
'Safe Heave, she told us you needed a safe heave and we will provide that...'' Said Aditya
'Who is this pretty doctor...'' Asked Ishita
'That is prival...'' Said Ruhi as she struggled to remember the word
'Privileged Information...'' Said Aditya
'Haan that one...'' Said Ruhi
'I understand that for an immunity wish to work, I just say what I want and you do it but I didn't want that. I wanted you yo know why I am about to evoke it.'' Said Aditya
'The pretty doctor said, it is important you do not force her...'' Said Ruhi
'Yes so that is why we are telling you before I evoke. I can't force you to stay with us forever but I am asking for 2 months from you and in these two months, we are going to prove to you why you need to stay as still be a part of the Bhalla family...'' Said Aditya as tears filled his eyes but he fought them back. Ruhi took the piece of paper form her pocket again and began to read
'We will love you and take care of you and also this will give us time to repent for any wrongs...''
Ishita looked at them as tears filled her eyes and felt so bad that it had come to this. She felt so guilty about the whole ordeal but she in her mind didn't want to destroy that family hence wanting to go. There was nothing they could do o change her mind and if 2 months is what they were asking fro then why not...
'Mom, do you understand why we are doing this ' Said Aditya to which Ishita just nodded
'Okay then, I evoke my second wish. I wish that you stay at the Bhalla Mansion for the next 2 months before you make up your mind of when you leave us. You are to try and be as it was before. Keep an open mind please and you have to participate'' he added holding his breath hoping it had worked
'Okay then! You heard him; I guess we are going to the Bhalla mansion...'' Ishita said tears filling her eyes as she smiled
Mr. and Mrs. Iyer sat there in awe not believing that what they were dreading to do the whole time was actually done by two kids in less than 20 minutes. Mrs. Iyer looked at them as Ishita nodded her head and putting her hands out hugging her children and just like that she realized that her daughter was actually going to be okay.
'Mama...'' Whispered Mihika causing Mrs. Iyer to turn and look at her
'That is why it is important she stayed there. They will get you your daughter back...'' Whispered Mihika causing both of them to smile as the hugged each other
'What is up with you two...'' Asked Ishita looking at them
'Oh those two are just so damn adorable. Come here and give your grandmother a hug...'' Said Mrs. Iyer as they came and hugged her
'Does your father know you're here...'' Asked Ishita
'He knows we are not at home...'' Said Aditya
'Adi stop trying to be smart, does he know...'' Said Ishita
'No he thinks we are in school. Sorry...'' Said Aditya
'You kids I swear...'' Said Ishita smilingly
'Ishu it is fine let me take care of it...'' Said Abhimanyu as he walked out causing Jai to follow suit
'Abhimanyu wait...'' called out Jai
'Imagine what Raman's face will be like when he finds out that she is actually going back there. Right now he thinks she is coming to stay with you until they convince her to go to the Bhallas. Imagine what a nice surprise it would be...'' Said Jai causing Abhimanyu t nod in affirmation saying
'OHHH this is going to be fun...''

They had managed to clear everything and get her medicines as they had been instructed and all of them had set out leaving the hospital to take Ishita to the Bhalla Mansion. As they drove into the drive way Ishita had a million things going through her mind. She had not seen him in over a month and the anxiety was killing her.
Would he be happy, would he be mad that she had just left him and refused to see him, was he okay, how he looked like? Had he lost weight? She was so nervous that her palms were sweating and she could her heart almost jump out of her chest.
As they packed the car to help her get out and also get her wheelchair, the children quickly ran inside to tell everyone that Ishita was home.
'Where the hell have you two been? Why aren't you in school? Do you know how worried I was...'' Barked Raman
'Papa we are sorry but we had to do something that was so important...'' Said Aditya
'What was so important that you got us all so worried...'' Said Mrs. Bhalla who was a mess at this point as Simmi tried to console her
'Mama Calm down...''
'Aditya what were you thinking...'' Said Romi who was standing with Mr. Bhalla
As they all stared at the children relieved that they were fine the door suddenly went open and in rolled Ishita was Jai pushed her wheel chair.
When Raman turned and saw her he couldn't believe it. He looked away fro a second just to make sure his eyes were not playing tricks on him and when he looked back she was still there looking at him with teary eyes. The bruises on her face had actually gone and she looked more like the woman who swept him off his feet. She still had a cast on her knee and she looked at bit tired but she seemed okay at least physically. Even her hand was not in a cast anymore. He wanted to say something and call out her name but his mouth had suddenly gone dry and he couldn't bring himself to even say a thing because she might disappear.
Ishita looked at him and could see he was going through turmoil of emotions and could understand why he just stood there and stared at her. She did the only thing she knew would make sense, she just sat there and waited for it to sink in that she was actually here.
'Papa that is the important thing...'' Said Aditya bringing him out of his stance
'Wha...'' Raman said absent minded as he turned to look at him son.
Aditya took his hand and brought him down causing Raman to bend a little as Aditya whispered
'We have 2 months to save this family. I brought her home, make sure she stays...''
He turned and looked at his son and couldn't believe what his children had done for him. They probably didn't understand how much they had actually done. They had given him a life line. They had given him an opportunity to actually save his marriage.
It finally sunk in that she was actually here, in his living room, in his house and she was to stay for 2 months.
'Raman ...'' Ishita called out
When he heard her voice all the emotions he had bottled up inside just came crumbling down and he couldn't take it. He needed an out, he needed breathe, he needed space he had to be alone and not let her see him like this and with that he walked out of the room.
