Shagun's giving an interview, saying all loads of crap against Ishita and Mihika. Says they are middle class, but have ambitions. Ishita's mother was desperate to get Ishita married and they used Raman and Ruhi. Ishita snatched my daughter from me. And Mihika ruined my marriage. They just use rich people. Everyone's watching the news. Ishita is shaken and runs to Iyer's house because she knows her mother is watching the news alone. Toshi is livid too. When Raman comes home and sees Ishita running to her house. He goes and sees the news and is really angry.

Ishita is consoling her mother, Raman has reached there and consoles her too. He says I am here na, I'll make everything alright. Ishita takes Mrs Iyer inside. Raman thinks I can't spare anyone who tries to harm my family, I won't spare the both of you..Ashok and Shagun

Ishita makes her mom have medicine and puts her to sleep. She goes to Raman outside who is concerned and he says you don't stress, I'll be with her. He goes inside to her whose crying and mumbling. He caresses her head and she cries, what we did to Shagun that she's after our life, ruined our names and dignity. Raman sits there feeling guilty but then consoles her and asks her to sleep.
