I cannot believe what I am reading.
Certain people have actually gone as far to say that Mihika deserves to be raped, what is wrong with our society? I am disgusted at these appalling attitudes.

Wow, no wonder these horrendous crimes against women are still occurring, with these kinds of attitudes.

No I am not. Although I stopped watching YHM. Not even reading the written updates but really well aware of what is happening in the show by reading the posts in the forums.
This is what happens when cv is handling molestation issue like a joke. THis is what happens when they shows females as object - where male can used it as per own convenience still woman forgives him for the sake of stupid relationships. Why are u blaming ppl for being so insensitive. I am not saying that these ppl are right but cv has failed miserably and showing female in negative and dumb way which is itself is so dangerous. Hate cv of yhm to the core.

Even I am feeling ashamed of myself for watching this crap . I didn't stop it when ishita brought param in the house . That was beginning of the crap. That was early signs cvs of yhm gave us we are not going to handle any molestation issue seriously. Is cv understanding the word of molestation.

IS ISHRA is enough or valid reason for me to watch this nuisance. In other words encourage them to show such disgusting thing on small screen? If we didn't stop watching this show, then other shows might show things related to females in more disgusted way. We are encouraging them . Yes am at fault, but i don't have right to ask everyone to stop watching it, I will not to part of this trp anymore , will not part of this crime anymore.

I will take a stand - NOT GOING TO WATCH YHM TILL THEY SHOW TRACKS SOMETHING MEANINGFUL OR FEMALE IN A POSITIVE WAY AND NOT AS SOME DEVI. I WILL NOT COMPROMISE FOR THE SAKE OF ISHRA.

Regardless of whether you continue watching YHM is your personal choice. And like I said, regardless of the situation, nobody has the right to say that Mihika deserves to be raped; that is totally unfair. Also, I have not seen a single post stating that Ashok is disgusting for behaving in that way, however, everyone seems to be making a comment about how stupid Mihika is when she is the victim in the situation.
At the end of the day, drug rape is unfortunately pretty common, well it's common where I'm from and it needs to be addressed.

Well ideally its bad to think bad about anyone but this is how Cvs have shown regressive stuff so people r bound to have such misconceptions.

Ishita is shown as getting her molestor home like what is that n y? N she ties him Rakhi etc.

Ishita forgives her husband who manhandled her in 2 secs in nok jhoks.

Ishita gets molested at a party n doesnt take action against it.

I know people's counter argument is that none of the other family members her husband or in laws or parents r doing anything about it etc.

But educated women r shown as weak n taking anything in the name of forgiveness and righteousness etc.

Mihika a strong educated female is shown as walking in a trap herself, she is hell bent on proving a point to Shagun, she is literally letting Ashok abuse her for Shagun.

Then CVs make Ishita say things like Its gud I got molested coz Simmi understood what a pervert her husband is.

this looks like ya girls want this as they r ok with it if someone molest her or rape her.

When our Tv n films r showing such things then people n their sensibilities get affected coz of Popular culture.

Yes no woman deserves this. IT is something like khuladi par peer rakhoge then peer toh katega hi aur yaha par toh mihika is khuladi serach kiya then dance kiya uss par then u are expecting ppl should sympathise with her.

IS she was unaware of Ashok's intentions , if she was unaware of ashok true nature , if these things happens unknowingly then only ppl like me can sympathise with her. U can't force ppl to sympathise with her the sake of female thing. Why can't she share with mihir or any of family member that ashok is troubling her. Why suddenly shagun so important for her. her relationship with shagun looks forced and fake.

@ bold : True megha cv is creating this situation/dialogue where ppl can't sympathise with them . So it is unfair to blame only ppl.

Yes I dont think Ishita or Mihika deserve to b molested or raped but I as a viewer cant sympathize with these characters coz of their negligence of serious issues like molestation or work place exploitation.

On another page, I have stated that I disagreed with the way that the directors dealt with the issue where Raman misbehaved with Ishita and it was forgotten as if nothing happened which shows a a bad message to the audience that a husband can treat you in that way and it is acceptable which is not right. However, why can't the arguments distinctly stick to questioning (not abusing) the directors choice, if that's your opinion, as opposed to saying bold comments such as a certain person deserves to be raped?

I am not watching this track
No one in my building I live in who have been watching YHM from the beginning are watching this track
I don't know where they get the trp from??
Forums don't shock me anymore even the most smartest women find ways to justify and claim they will continue watching

Is TV making some of us think rape is deserved or are women who think rape is deserved watching TV ??????
