'So you really want a divorce?''

Without turning around he answered 'yes''

'Turn around look me in the eye and tell me this is what you want'' she said

'WHAT'' He asked

'I said TURN AROUND LOOK ME IN THE EYE AND TELL ME ISHU THIS IS WHAT I WANT?'' She answered.

'Ishita please do not make this difficult. And stop being melodramatic just do as ...''

'Raman stop being evasive. Do as I say and I swear I will grant you your wish. You will never see me or hear from me ever again. '' Said Ishita

'What do you mean never again?'' asked Raman

'Ishima papa look what the teacher gave me. I got a gold star in my art project. It is very nice. Look'' Just in the nick of time Ruhi walked in.

Ishita looked at Raman and then at Ruhi and realized that whatever reason Raman had for doing this, it was never going to justify him taking away her life. They were a family. Ruhi her and Him were a family.

' Yes Ruhi baby it looks amazing and you deserved it. Your art project was really nice.'' Answered Ishita as she tried to hide the tears in her eyes

Raman looked at his wife and daughter and could not help but smile a little. Ishita had done a lot for him. His family and most importantly his daughter were with him and happy because of her. In fact he could go as far as to say she was his blessing. Because with all the mess that Shagun had left behind she picked it all up and fixed it. He was a lucky man to have her as his wife and the thought that he would never see her again scared the crap out of him.

What did she mean by that? Was she going away? But how far could she really go. She lived next door after all. What if she was going to harm herself? Nah Ishita was a strong woman. She could not do that. Could she? He could forgive himself if anything happened to her.

' Papa where are your ears. I said am going for a sleep over at a Rima's place. She is my friend. Ishima said yes if you agree. Please Papa I will be good. ' asked Ruhi

' Okay Beta if Ishima says it is okay. Then it is fine you can go.''

'You are the best Thank you.'' Ruhi ran to her dad, kissed him on the check and with that she left the room.

After Raman watched his daughter happily run out of the room he turned around and told Ishita

'She is turning out alright Ishita don't you think? We are doing something right''

Ishita was furious she knew he was dying inside. It was evident on his face but he was just so darn stubborn. She knew the only way to get to the bottom of this was to go to MELODRAMA OVER DRIVE. She was going to do everything in her power to get him to tell her what the hell was going on. If it needed her being mean or emotionally black mail him. So be it.

Raman on the other hand smiled and looked at her and the expression she gave him made him realize that there was a pending conversation that he wished was over and done with because he did not have the strength to hold back from not holding her anymore.

Before he knew what was happening there a burning sensation on his face and it took him a minute to realize Ishita had slapped him.

'WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU ARE. Why are you playing with my emotions like that 'we are doing something right are you kidding me? I cannot believe you of all people could do this to me. I am not the most perfect person but I am a good mother, a good daughter in law and I have tried to be a good wife.'' Said a Ishita who at this point was crying hysterically

'When did I say you're not a good mother or daughter in law or wife?'' asked a puzzled Raman

'Then what possible reason do you have for wanting a divorce? Tell me? I am going to have to look at my daughter while I tell her I am never going to be able to see her again. Or spend time with her, or see her grow up all because you are tired of this facade called our marriage'?

Raman knew of all the things he had done this was probably going to be his greatest mistake of them all.

' Ishita Please ...?

'No Raman you are a coward. That is what you are. You want to be seen as a brave man but in actual sense you're an egotistic coward. Yes I accept that I love you and OH MY GOD HOW I LOVE YOU BUT that does not give you the right to treat me like some kind of toy. You play with me and when you're fed up I become worthless. I was proud to say that you my Man. I walked with my head high because I thought damn am the envy of most because I got the most amazing family, daughter and a husband who would do anything for me but I was wrong.'' Said Ishita still crying hysterically

' Ishita ... Ishi... Plea ... ?''

'No Raman I know you may have some reason that you think might be good enough but there is nothing that you are going to say to me that is going to justify what you want to do. You do not deserve me. You do not deserve my love.''

'Ishita ... ' Raman whispered as he got tears in his eyes

' I am going to give you what you want. I am going to grant you what you want. I am going to give you everything you want. I will give you your freedom and you will not be answerable to me. But a DIVORCE OVER MY DEAD BODY''

'Ishita wait I did not want it to... to ...''

'To what''

'Ishita look yes I wanted I mean no I did not want this to ... Please listen to me'

'You know what let me make it easy for you. Just please make sure you tell my daughter that nothing has been more important to me than her and I have been blessed to have had the chance to be her mother'' answered Ishita

Ishita grabbed her purse and walked out of their bedroom. Raman followed suit pleading with her to just listen to him. Yes he wanted a divorce but it was not because she of the reasons he she was thinking and definitely not at the expense of her life. He was not even sure he understood what he wanted to do anymore. He started second guessing himself not sure if this divorce thing was such a good idea. He did not think it through very well but most especially did not expect this.

'Ishita please listen to me''

Ishita continued to walk out and when she opened the door, Shagun was standing at the door. She looked at Ishita and asked

' Where is Raman? He has kept me waiting for so long?''

'Waiting? Waiting for what?'' Ishita asked

'Nothing that concerns you just tell him oh wait here he comes Raman ...'' Shagun answered

He just walked to the door and slammed it in Shagun's face. He wondered why Shagun had the worst timing in the world Right now he had better and more important things to worry about.

Why did you do that?'' asked Ishita

'She is not important. Just listen to me. Just give me a minute okay. Calm down and let's talk. Like adults. I cannot have you walking around when you angry like that.''

' Oh now you care'' answered Ishita

'Ishita Please Just let me explain okay. I did not want ... I did not mean ...'' Raman was at a loss of words.

Ishita knew it was now or never and she had to make him see reason that this divorce was a stupid idea and she was not going to let it happen. She understood that that hard exterior was just a show off for people to back off but she saw right through it. She meant more to him than he led on and he was going to admit it today no matter what. With tears in her eyes she asked

'Why are you divorcing me Raman? Is it because if the bar ... Bachelors party that ...''

'ISHITA'' Raman roared
