Amazing amazing post Doc, this is what I look forward to in this show. Yes the spoilers and OLV's depress me but then reading all the posts here just give me a feeling of contentment.
This truly was a night that changed their lives and not in the way they wanted. Yet maybe it still served the same purpose. This night was supposed to be a night where two individuals who have been married for 10 months now finally come to terms with being a couple. They were supposed to finally come to accept their love, dedication, commitment and seal their "life long waali deal." And that's what happened- the route was different but the destination was the same. So maybe there were no flowers, candles and loud declarations of love. But this couple never needed that.Even as this horrible disastrous night ended, they still emerged as a couple who can comfort each other, rely on each other and most importantly totally surrender their soul to each other. Ishita in that moment, barred her soul to Raman and he was there to heal her, to reassure her. A man who can almost never admit how deeply he cares came right out and said his wife was the person who saved him. He committed to destroy the people who took advantage of her. In those 5 minutes, he declared his love, dedication and commitment towards his wife. If this is not love then what is. Two people who bare their souls to each other. This night they came together in the best way possible.Another moment which stood out to me was, and this may not make complete sense. when Raman was entering the room and saw Ishita sitting in the dark. He was about to hit the lights but decided against it and went in there and put his hand on her shoulder. There she was, a woman who at this moment was haunted by her demons, by what these disgusting men did to her. He didn't switch the lights on momentarily to make demons disappear and make her snap out of it. Those demons would disappear and reappear when it becomes dark. He went in the dark to give her the courage, the strength and help her fight her demons. I think its very symbolic on the kind of couple these two are and in general about love. She will fight her demons on her own and her healing process will happen on its own. But along the way, when she is tired, when she is about to just give in, he will be there to in the pit with her, to get her up and encourage her up to fight again.
