Yesterday's episode was beautiful...ur post is as beautiful as the moment transpired between two souls...they were not just husband-wife or loving life partners ..they were much more...soul mates.. we meet many people in life...many interactions and relations are superficial..they are acquaintances ...few of them touch our heart..they are family or friends or loved ones as we say...but only one special person touch the soul...that one person gets the power to heal the broken being ...that one person has the right to hold us even when we are reluctant to respond ...same happened with Ishita..she was in trauma ...she was disgusted ..she was flinching to every touch...she did the same with her husband...unknowingly she shuddered...she wanted to stay in her shield trying to protect her dignity ..trying to collect her scattered self-respect ...he didnt react to her action...he gave her the warmth she needed the most that moment...he held her in his embrace assuring the respect she was craving for...he didnt sympathies with her..calling her his strength ..his guiding light as u mentioned...

Raman and Ishita had hoped that this night would bring love and marital bliss in their life, and it did! They may not like the manner in which love entered but enter it did! A husband with moist eyes, a heart full of love and a lump in his throat tells his wife, 'you gave my life a second wind, you turned my house into a home, your name is proudly hanging outside my home.' They were looking for a time of togetherness to confess their feelings for each other, but what better confession than a husband proclaiming that he is proud to be known as his wife's husband, what better way of proclaiming love than for Raman to be known as Ishita's Raman. Today amongst the hurt, shame and guilt I saw a couple confess their feelings, in the dead quite of the night their love made a lot of noise!

These lines are the most beautiful way to explain last nights episode...they didnt express the love the way they had planned or hoped...but they expressed love and trust in the purest form possible...without exchanging any words ..when he held her in his embrace assuring his presence around her...that was love...when she couldn't express her pain in front of anyone else...not even another women..her MIL...she conveyed her pain when she cried in his arms...that was love for me...

Loved loved loved the way you portrayed their emotions in those verses...beautiful ...the soft fabric of their love provided the warmth her soul craved for...it provided the comfort his heart hoped for ...

Kale ghane andhere me ..
Asha ki ek kiran tu...
Ruh ko tapati huyi dhoop main..
Chaon ki akhri aas tu...
Dard se karahate huye astitwa ko..
Halke se marham lagata sanjivani ..tu..
Mrig trishna se bhare jeevan me..
Ganga jal sa nirmal pyaas ..tu..

Sorry for such a long comment..god knows what i have written here😳...thanks for the beautiful post ..once again 😊

Thank you so much for your lovely comment and I apologize for a tardy in my reply, I was held up by something today. I concur with everything you have said, they are indeed soulmates and all she needed was his touch to bring her out of despair, and all he needed was her smile to regain his strength!

See this is why I was eagerly awaiting for your reply 😊

Of course you leave nothing to be said.

I agree completely that its subtle, understated moments like these which remind me why I love this show so much.

That song. I heard it just last week, and had related it to IshRa. It made me think of how Ishita's love has literally pulled Raman out of the dark shadows of his past...and tonight, when he's doing the same for her, it's a perfect fit.

Thank you, as always, for putting words to the emotion in a way I never could.

This is everything in a nutshell:

Raman and Ishita had hoped that this night would bring love and marital bliss in their life, and it did! They may not like the manner in which love entered but enter it did!

The night started out with a playful banter, teasing and flirting...the way most relationships begin. It ended, with two deeply wounded souls leaning on each other for support and strength. I can think of no better way for a couple to enter into "marital bliss", as you put it, than to share in each other's pain and and heal in each other's embrace. For the truest of love, is one which does not falter in the face of adversity...but rather, stands silent and strong. This is just sums up the crux of their relationship, brilliantly worded!

I am in awe of the lines you've penned. This in particular: Thanks P! 😳 Those seem to be the ones that are resonating with people, G also likes these particular lines.

Jab aakhen chalke teri, toh bhigana tu ye malayam libaas
Jab kandhe jhuke mere, toh pehnana mujhe ye,
tere mera mulayam libaas.

As I said in Gan's post, they may not share a physical intimacy, but they share an emotional intimacy which binds there souls together. In that one embrace...those few moments, they shared in each other's pain, cried each other's tears, and slowly began to heal each other's wounds. May be this my inner grandma talking but I value emotional intimacy a lot more than physical intimacy, and to see these two souls so very intimate just fills my heart with joy! 😊

I for one, have never seen anything quite as beautiful. Same! Hence I am obsessed with this show and my puttar! 😉

Thank you for your beautiful words, Doc. Thank you for reading and taking out the time to comment, it sure made my day. 😊

Love,
P

No more apologies. Promise.

@Bold: I could not agree more. I'm an old soul too...but we've discussed this before.

Sorry for the late reply. But I had to force myself away from IF to finish writing a paper.
Your post was brilliant as usual. Only a few words to add since I feel obligated to contribute to the discussion with something remotely valuable.

"A silent hug means a thousand words to the unhappy heart."

His arms were her sanctuary. He did not have to say anything to her, for his embrace had already applied the ointment to her wound and begun to heal her. But his words wrapped layers of gauze and administered pain killers on top of the ointment that his arms had already applied. They worked together to heal and protect the wound, allowing her to fall into a peaceful, painless slumber.

A lack of time and the fact that your post already said everything so eloquently much makes me end here. I penned down a few lines below as per your request...hope you enjoy!

Aankhon mein jo khwaab dikhey the,
andhere ne unko dooba diya.
Mann mein jo armaan jagey the,
andhere ne unko mita diya.
Chehre par jo muskurahat saji thi,
andhere ne usko chupa diya.
Par teri baahon ke ujaale ne,
toh iss andhere ko hi mita diya.

Your lines!!!! I'm in awe. I have no words. So touching. I'm officially a fan.

THIS is everything. Everything.

Par teri baahon ke ujaale ne,
toh iss andhere ko hi mita diya.

Thank you so much!

Love,
P

You're being far too kind in showering your praises on me. But I genuinely thank you for your appreciation. 😳

No sorries allowed here buddy! Like I told P, update if and when you have time, no compulsion whatsoever! How did the paper go?

No sorries from now on then. 😛
The paper turned out okay (I think). We'll see when I actually get it back. *fingers crossed*

"A silent hug means a thousand words to the unhappy heart." What a beautifully simple thought! 😊

No credit to me. All credit goes to the unknown person who thought of it.

His arms were her sanctuary. He did not have to say anything to her, for his embrace had already applied the ointment to her wound and begun to heal her. But his words wrapped layers of gauze and administered pain killers on top of the ointment that his arms had already applied. OMG I am in love with these lines, thank you so much for penning these down 😊 espeicially the last two lines! They do so full justice to the episode! Thank you once again for sharing it here 😊

It is my absolute pleasure to share. After all, sharing is caring. And I honestly must thank you for your wonderful topics that give me a platform to share my thoughts.

Agreed P! Nivi knocked it out of the park!

Aww guys, enough with the praises. I'm terrible at receiving compliments. 😳

Thank you so much!

Love,
P
