Hey everyone :) Let me start off by saying that I LOVE YHM to the core and am a HUGE Ishra fan!!! Been watching it since day one, but a confession, I'm also a silent member...hopefully that will change as we go 😆
So I usually don't post or make posts but I've wanted to make a post about Simmi and Vandu for a while but never really had the right opportunity.
I feel like Vandu and Simi are going to be a new team/confidants/best friends for each other. When they started off all they did was fight (if you remember the Tamil Punjabi wedding prep war), and then their bonding gradually grew and a great example is during Holi! Ever since the Holi track, I always wanted to see them have some sort of bond with each other if not friends then support systems. Unfortunately that couldn't materialize due to Ishita's first molestation track and Simmi's brain going MIA. Since then they never spoke to each other.
FINALLY after 9 months I could that relationship and bond rekindle with their small interaction at Shagun's hen party, and today's episode kind of confirmed that for me. After today's episode I don't know, their scene kind of gave me that feeling that these two are going to support each other through whatever happens now. Today Vandu is Simmi's support, and I have a feeling that whenever Bala's secret comes out, Simmi will be there for Vandu in the same way, to talk, advise, listen, etc.
There's so many Mani, Shagun, Mihika, Irsha posts around here, so I thought this is a nice change 😆 I think I have a thing for the supporting characters and I think to see how their relationship develops with one another, and with the main leads. Ishita and Raman's families have always had problems with each other but all of that is disappearing now. First the fathers joined hands and made Ishra official. Then Bala and Raman and after that the mothers followed. Now it's Simmi and Vandu's turn and I think they will be another force that will keep Ishra together. Kids only listen to their parent's advise so much, but siblings have more impact and if this potential separation track or Shagun at the Bhalla house happens, it's going to be one more reason for Ishra not to separate. If their families are bonded so well, it's going to be hard for them to separate.
Any thoughts? Sorry about the somewhat long post, haven't posted in a long time...as you can see 😳 😆
