My theory on Adi is that he knows subconsciously atleast that Shagun is a deserter will leave him if he doesnt stick to her allowing himself to be manipulated n influenced by her alone. Its a choice he made knowing he'll lose her forever otherwise. He made her the constant person in his life n is devoted to her like once Raman was allowing himself to be distanced from his father even exactly like Raman in the past. Its desperation n fear of abandonment by his mother.
Where as Raman is the constant love in his life. This boy has known n experienced his fathers love n affection for him. He knows no matter however much he rejects hurts n humiliates Raman he will still love him. In a way he has been pushing the envelope n testing his fathers love for him in every interaction they have had n came out the victor knowing he still has his fathers love. The first n only setback he had is when Raman did a turnaround on him in the accident track. Just like his mother did he realizes he's slowly n surely losing the priority he had in Raman's life. The latest situation created by him will probably shake him when Raman once n for all chooses Ishita over him besides Ruhi too. THis realit ycoupled with all the past events like Raman getting remarried, Shagun now going to do the same has already crushed his dreams of having both his father n mother ever. And he is privy to Ashoks betrayal too. So this is make or break for Aditya n frankly his only hope of survival is Ishita whom he has chosen as the enemy. She is the only one who can break him free of Shaguns deathly hold on him, bcoz he wont let his father in. With his hatred for Ishita n the open war on her n the upcoming events he has opened himself upto intervention by Ishita herself. Its going to be a battle that has to be won by her before the custody war by Raman. Only then can Aditya have his secured home not what he wants or desires but the one he needs.
Phew I cant believe I had so much to write about that expressionless kid. 😆His character is intruiging n royally screwed up one no doubt. Dont know how much of my analysis is correct but thought of putting it out here anyway.
