Yep she has shown him the different ways in which she has stood by him, cared for him, did things just for his sake but he just wants to hear those words that can seal the deal in the most irrevocable way.

He has been the father of her child, her husband for months now - now he wants to be her lover and he just needs to have that one moment when he can cross that threshold - the thin line that can change things between them forever.

I felt the same today - Adi has lost faith on Ashok. If he has to choose between him and Raman, it will be the latter. But then again nothing is more important than Shagun for him. She's the only constant figure in his life. He obviously loves and pines for his dad. But the negativity that has been instilled in him all life doesn't let him take a step towards him. He sees Raman happy in his life with Ishita and Ruhi and that bothers him even more. Doesn't help that Shagun isn't really a good mother either who gives him the attention he really needs.

Adi is the most affected in this shagun-Ashok-Raman-Ishita story. The kid was not even given a chance like Ruhi, albeit she had to be a ping pong between the two couples, but like Ishita puts it, she has more people who love her.

Adi only sees what shagun shows him. He is conphused about the rest relationships. specially with Raman. If he saw and rejected his attention and love in the beginning, he also saw Raman moving on with Ishita, and showering morelove to Ruhi than him.

see adi is a fairly complex character .. unlike ruhi who is her father in & out .. Adi gets his devotion from his dad .. but he also gets manipulation from his mom ..

this kid did lie in a court of law .. he did blame his dad for a crime which his dad had not committed .. so this kid does have a streak of avariciousness in him .. he is swayed by material things .. he isn't as clean a heart as Ruhi ..

But he is a kid .. & as a kid he craves the love of a father .. which is something he does not get .. & the man giving the love to him .. he does not trust that that man will stand beside him forever 😳

Now once again in his twisted mind .. he would look at this as >> raman taking Ishita's side .. not his .. further wedge between the 2 .. easy cause to blame .. Ishita ..

Now at some point the custody track will come up .. if u link this burning of the hand scenario to the promo & look at it as a precursor to the custody track . the promo meaning gets a bit more clearer 😉

Now for a moment .. lets pause & step back ..

its Raman & Ishita wedding .. the expose of Adi happens .. all fingers point against Raman

but still Ishita marries him .. she may have said its for Ruhi .. but she did find something in this man .. the ability to give up his life for his daughter which made her marry him & trust him ..

today its another wedding .. Adi once again points a finger .. this time its at Ishita .. Raman stands up for her ...

Interesting na .. once again the writer recreates the past episodes of YHM 😉

Yep Shagun is his one constant and somehow because of the accident track he got the one thing that made him pick Raman tonight - the confirmation his dad loves him, though the kid is too messed up to differentiate between the love his parents have for him.

I wonder what will make him lose faith in Shagun if he ever does that. One thing is for sure the day that happens this kid is gonna be through the worst kind of hell - too bad the actor who plays him wont be able to make us cry cos frankly that moment would be heartwrenching
