I just don't get it!

Here's a modern educated girl who in her pavithra way hugs her jiju & her buchpen ki dhost, mani, to thank them for the various things they've done for her but when her pathi dev, whom she has every right to hug, kiss whatever with, gives her an engagement ring & such beautiful words to seal their lifes as 1 forever, she just smiles... 😕

I was so sure CVs will use this touching, lovely scene to take Ishra relationship 1 step forward with either spontaneous hug from Ishita or Raman cupping Ishita's cheek lovingly & maybe even giving her a peck on her forehead. Come on, that's not too much to ask 😭

They're so sweet together, which is fab, but I think its past time to add a bit of spice 😉

Ishu could have simply hug or kiss in his cheek today when he put that ring on her and promised to be with each other for a lifelong
Don't know what's the problem of cvs with Ishra and their closeness

I was a bit disappointed too!

Neither a kiss or the hug

And She didn't even say a word 😕 And only nodded

Ok maybe she was emotional and all but she could have said something right !?

The chemistry she shares with Mani & Raman are different. The bonding & comfort level she has with Mani since childhood as friends is close & may be hugging would be very common whereas coming to Raman she was married under circumstances where there is no heartful consent then their relationship transformed into friendhsip & now brewing into love where both of them didn't confess & not aware surely that they both love each other. So there wud definitely be some awkward & shy feeling to be so comfortable romantically. Had u didn't see when Rama wants to kiss Ishita how many excuses he made & finally involved Ruhi to help him in doing so. When a man feels so much of awkward & odd then how can Ishu take a step forward without knowing that Raman really loves her...But she is slowly making her move by intense eyelock, sexy dance, holding his hand tho unknowingly, showing jealous etc. These are the hints given to Raman what more he wants to know?

Granted Ishita may be uncertain and yes definitely get the more comfortable with guys who've been in her life all this while as opposed to her ravan ki raman, but given the level of emotion in the scene I thought it would have been acceptable that she was emotionally driven to hug him, as in the scene after he faked accident & she got abducted.

Or CVs could have at least let Raman take the lead - he could have hugged her! Or,given her a peck on the cheek - as you said, he's had practice!

Without some form of warm and loving touch, the scene kind of didn't quite reach the mark for me 😔

I don't think i'd want Ishra to get to the confession and most certainly not the consummation so soon. I'm truly enjoying their journey of discovering their feelings for each other and if possible i'd want this journey to go on forever.

But, I do feel they need to get to certain ports of call from time to time such as holding hands, Ishu holding raman's arms, raman putting his arm round her shoulders, 1/2 hugs like ishu gave mani for complimenting her in the saree at shagun's engagement - tiny milestones in the long journey of love...I'm actually afraid that the CVs will take the short cut & move from clutching fingers to consummation & expect us to say "thank u"

i loved the scene and i thought it couldn't be more perfect.. her smile, her eyes said plenty...as did his... for me personally, the hug wouldn't have fit in.. cuz ishita has been shown to be very shy around raman.. if there's any intimacy situation involved...

and they are slowly making their way towards that phase in their relationship to be comfortable with one another on a physical level... her clutching his fingers seemed as if she was answering all his questions with a big HELL YES! and that she was ready to continue this journey with him forever... basically agreeing with everything he had just said..her silence said it all

surely when the time comes, the hug and the kiss will follow... but they just got to that point in their relationship to admit they are actually in it for one another AS much as they are in it, for ruhi..

also modernism and education has nothing to do with it... its a big commitment! and like i said they are both gettin there..
