Gan I am not sure what I love more today - the quote, the collage or the title..the title I think wins it for me more cause it just describes the way he feels for her to the T. This is JUNOON - through and through - not in a creepy, obsessive, stalkerish way of course 😆 but the kind where Love, true love is limitless.
I have always been of the mind that Raman' feelings for Shagun were that of a boy - somewhat more like an infatuation and the fact that he was this geeky guy and she such a beautiful girl always reigned supreme on his mind, he wasnt an equal in that relationship - he was the passive partner, the follower and she ruled over him...he was in love with the idea of being in love with her but slowly that idea started diminishing as he got acquainted with the truth of what Shagun is as a person as he got to know her yet he let her dominate him scared of losing her, scared that who would want him...he always had assumed it was too good to be true that someone like him got someone like her and the idea that his thoughts would translate into reality scared him, though once that happened he realized - he was foolish enough to indulge in fantasies, to consider that life is a fairytale or a bed of roses and the good guy always win in the end or that love conquers all..because in the end, where he was concerned the bad guy won, love failed..or the idea of love failed.
He once said to Ishita - pehle pyaar ke maayne sabke liye alag hote hai - to me it always said - his first love, his true love in fact the only love of his life is Ishita - she is the love of his life and no one can take that mantle from her.
The boy had become a man by the time he met her and was jaded and became a cynic, he had lost out the notion that the world is perfect or that life is or can be beautiful. He assumed he knew it all - only to have him questioning his new found faith and beliefs - she made him fall in love with her. She was everything he wanted always, everything that he looked for and never found in the one he thought was meant to be his forever.
Raman Bhalla truly fell in love when he met her - a man fell in love with a woman, this was not a boy' fantasy but a man' reality.
Now that he knows what is at stake he cant afford to lose her. He cant lose what brought him back to lfe with her and will move heaven and earth to not lose his love - if this isnt Junoon I dont know waht is.
