@ red : Exactly.! That was another thing I said in some other post. Until today, it was only playful jokes, taunts and a bunch of communication gaps between them. They have never actually discussed the seriousness of their relationship. Even if they have done something for each other, they haven't accepted it. Its always been " Ruhi ke liye " but now that they have realized that it has gone beyond that point, this track will bring in the much needed seriousness in their relationship.

@ bold : WORD.! 😉 Life isn't fair and nothing having worth comes easy..😳

True they have never discussed their relationship, and having that one serious talk isn't going to ruin their characters, I am craving for that one conversation that this couple needs to have! I actually can't wait till the day we get that heart to heart, something similar to the conversation they had in Ishita's room when Raman goes to get her post the Param fiasco.
Let's wait and watch! Also peeps call me doc because I am a medical student(boring hence I escape here 😕)

Now coming todays episode your post just said everything. I love the poetry that you chose because it is exactly Ishra's feelings today and the situation they are in. I know many people may not agree with me or hate me for this but Ishita has put more stakes into the marriage then Raman. I am not saying Raman hasn't done anything for the marriage he has but Ishita has put more into the relationship. This track to me is not about Raman's lack of trust in Ishita is more about his fears and insecurities and now he has to face them. This is the part that confuses me about I should feel about, Is the mani track necessary or not to help Raman's fears or insecurities. I think if the CVs handle the storyline and characterization properly and do not stretch the track then this could be one of the best tracks so far in YHM history because KP and DT are amazing in emotional scene. It is some of their best acting.

Sorry for the long trant! I love your posts they are so poetic and beautiful written. I would really love to read an OS, FF, SS from you if you ever chose to write on. 😊

Hellooo! I am so glad you posted your 'rant' as you describe your beautiful thoughts. Hazaron Kwashein aisi is such amazing poetry by Ghalib that it would take years to understand what he actually meant and then add to it Jagjit Singh's voice and I am in heaven.
The funny part in all this is that all of us have our viewpoints which are shaped by our own life, some think Ishita has put more in this relationship, others feel Raman has, some feel both have. They beauty is that none of us are wrong, it's just a matter of perspective because there is no absolute rights and wrongs in a relationship.
You are so right that Raman's lack of trust in Ishita is more to do about his past and his insecurities than it has to do with Ishita. There is a gap between Raman's past and his present, and he will need Ishita's help to bridge that gap.

Bang on! Mani track could have been beautiful if handled well but they are going in the Indian soap direction with this track. Hopefully we might be proven wrong and they might surprise us!
Thank you for calling this gibberish poetic, I am flattered! After my exam in January, when I have some more time I will try and come up with a story (give me ideas for a story) and I will make it a point to share it with you :)
Thank you once again for your kind words!

This is your best writing to date!!! How well you highlighted the state of Ishra love...this line perfectly describes what is needed in their relationship :

"Ishra have found love, now it's time to work on the other aspects of their marriage. " Thanks Gan! Isn't it true they have found love now time to move on and address the other aspects of their marriage.

Communication is the most important part of any relationship, especially theirs given how it started and their past of coming out of broken relationship. Exactly! Given their previous relationships they should understand the importance of communication. They need to TALK! And I mean talk their hearts out without all the drama and lay it out there in the open!

"Raman and Ishita looking at each other with moist eyes full of love, hope, and an urge to take each other in their embrace. A wife so overwhelmed by her husband's selfless act of fasting that she couldn't find words to express her gratitude, love and appreciation for her husband. Love does crazy thing, a lady who is supposed to be an expert at giving lectures was tongue-tied in love! Raman an expert of one-liners, witty jokes and always quick on his feet couldn't come up with anything under the realm of love. Both just staring at each other with amazement saying so much yet so little. That scene between the two reminded me of the song by Ronan Keating, called 'You say it best when you say nothing at all'

It's amazing how you
Can speak right to my heart.
Without saying a word
You can light up the dark.

Try as I may, I could never explain
What I hear when you don't say a thing"

I'm blown away by this paragraph...Remember "magical hue"? ... that's it right there...👏

Thanks girl you make me blush 😳, honestly I just pen down my feelings and thoughts and if you call that 'magical hue' then thanks!!! I am so elated and now have a big ego 😆

and what a perfect ending :

"Raman and Ishita have thousand such desires, many have been fulfilled and many yet remain. If they can lay down the gauntlet and expose their vulnerability to each other then their marriage will be the one to reckon with."

Loved your translation of the ghazal...aah I'm just in such happy mood after reading this...so beautiful!❤️ My favorite ghazal of all times, I love Ghalib and then you add Jagjit singh I am a girl in love! I am so glad you enjoyed it, at 1st I wasn't gonna include it because i figured it's too heavy for a fictional show but I couldn't stop myself. I am glad you enjoyed it!

Only part where I disagree is about the script...I felt some of the scenes were rushed today to bring in drama quicker...like ideally I would have liked a follow up on Raman's exit from KC fast breaking scene...he was so upset...what follwed between that and bedroom scene...did he eat...or who fed him...I wished they lingered on that part. The 'moments' loving person in me was craving for that. And the breakfast scene, Ishita couldnt have been so distracted with a ph call that she would ignore her daughter and Raman...that felt a little out of character for me. Lately Ishita has been doing a few things out of character and it is so unfair of the CVs to ruin her character for TRPs. Forget Raman she would never ever ignore Ruhi but people need drama so this is what we get.

You know I was thinking the same thing instead of focusing on Raman's past all the time can we focus on his present feelings and today had been a good example, to see a man in love with his wife yet so angry at the thought of her and Mani! I wanted to see him eat in anger or go to bed hungry, and I wanted Ishita to witness all of this. Hopefully future episodes will give us those moments!

But your writing...flawless!👏 Haila flawless! Thanks!

I wrote an essay again lol

I get so lost in your beautifully written posts that I forget about the inconsistencies and some flaws of the actual episode and the recent track! I actually don't know what I feel about this recent track - its just meh! I see the intent behind this track but somehow it is not working like it feels like they are out to bring out feelings of the characters by hook or crook! I agree with your reply above to some post that Subbu's entry would have been more impactful and perhaps served the purpose better!

Mani's entry as a friend to bring playful jealous moments etc would have been just fine- but nothing more than that! It just does not connect to me to see his character being root cause of problem in Ishra's relationship! Even both Ishra in the show have expressed the same that Mani is just a friend so there is no need for Raman to be extra conscious of him or to spy on his wife and nor does Ishita should feel the need to hide stuff about Mani from Raman! But it seems like they are just presenting situations at hand which makes both audiences and characters think otherwise! (Do I even make sense lol? )

Yes at times you need an external force as a catapult to bring out those feelings vocally that you won't do otherwise because we take people and relationships for granted many times; however, that should also come along with something called self realization! Waiting to see that happen with a full fledged scene of a deep conversation of both of them where they give voices to their feelings, insecurities, fears, etc!!

Doc,
Like I said on my daily beat. ALL Ishita had to do was TELL Raman it was Mani that was calling. She should have TOLD Mani point blank that her husband was starving and family was eagerly waiting for an Iyer girl to perform the rituals.

How HARD was that? The man STARVED for her. She was gushy and teary eyed, and then brazenly lied to him. Unfortunately today's mess the FULL credit goes to Ishita. He is TRYING his hardest to make amends... he is making a clown of himself on occasion. He is SO EAGER to please her. He scolds her about fasting... a sound drubbing... if this man did NOT care about the saat phere couldnt he have gone to work HOPING she would be dead after fasting?
Why did he ask her NOT to?
He compliments her appearance, his eyes search the kitchen and lock on her when he enters last nite... he grabs her (wanting to touch? maybe!) and FEEDS her...

Sometimes I firmly believe MIHIKA understand Raman more than Ishita. She ALWAYS has. Initially Ishita was too pissed with him to think or see straight... later she was so busy doing samaj seva,. we had Mihika reminding her time and again "jeeju is so thoughtful" "Jeeju is so cute" "Jeeju is so caring"

I have only seen half ass attempts from Ishita. IF this were a job she would get the rating of "Does not meet expectation"

Other than learning to make that palak paneer (which was a round about way to pin Sanjana on Raman) what can you list as a stand alone attempt of hers to PURELY impress Raman?

When they did NOT like each other she dressed up in the green outfit and expressed disappointment when he took off to Mumbai she SAYS "JISKE LIYE DRESS PEHNI WOH TO HAI HI NAHI"👏👏😳

That has been the single most sexy outburst from her.

Everything else pretty much has had a secret social service agenda to it🤢

WHY IS IT SO HARD FOR HER?
I know Subbu, and I know infertility
Heard it a million times Doc🥱
A gazillion actually...😡

What about saying something about his appearance, or showing up at his office? Or staying up with him to bring him a night cap? You know something alcoholic? That would be so sexy... he would be SO FLOORED😳😉

He refused the ceremonial bite of sweet, did she chase him down and coax him to eat?

Not only Raman ALL HUSBANDS like to be pampered...attended to... teased.. flirted with. HE FASTED FOR HER. Did she ask him what he ATE?

His anger was totally justified.
Is Romi's muhurat in the morning? Did I miss anything?
I mean is Romi Mani's brotrher? Was Mrs Bhalla amoral?
WHY SHOULD Mani be solving Raman's problems?
How can Ishita use this brainless way to "EXPRESS HER LOVE"😡
WHERE IS LOVE?
There is NONE from her side

Fondling a name plate and gushing MERE Raman doesnt cut it Doc😭
The next morning, she is again on the phone and offers him a plate of COLD DRY BREAD PILED SKY HIGH😲😲
Really?
ITNI bhi fiqar nahi hai tumhe?

Raman ka gussa jayaz hai. Raman ka suspicion jaayaz hai. Raman ka mistrust jaayaz hai
There is no love from Ishita's side in this marriage
Its just a DUTY

People go to their office and do their jobs with more passion than Ishita

Why do Romi and Sarika need to get married ASAP?
I JUST DONT GET IT

I am impressed by your faith in the pair. I admire your ability to love them no matter what

Like I said maybe because I am married I am no longer able to romanticize such idiocy as "path to LOVE"

Its a path of self destruction

Doc what a CONTRAST between the so called "foul mouthed" Mrs Bhalla and the "gharelu sweet wonderful" Ishita
Mr Bhalla returns from his jog, she says "No more parantha I care for your health you either eat oats or flakes?"

Ishita on the other hand is messing up rajma, talking to bestie, slams a plate 100 slices... of cold dry UNTOASTED bread... thats how much she cares for MERE Raman

HE is the guy that told Rinki the morning after "the rice grain off the lip incident" "Tu omlette le le, Is ghar mein ghaas phoos khaane waali SIRF EK HAI, sandwich uske liye chhod de"😳😳
WHAT AN ADORABLE CUTIE👏 He is supposed to be in love with SHAGUN then😲

U know when that episode was aired?
March 14th I think... Thats one of my MOST fave lines of Raman (sexy caring and JUST SO RAMAN. Ive watched it a MILLION times)😆

Mrs Ishita Bhalla doesnt even "love" Mani yet she treats her hubby like dirt
I JUST DONT GET IT😲
