We r in sync here. 😊 I said given up, or run away in other words-faced jail term or become a fugitive of law. The fear of going to jail, is what made him run away last time, what made him confess to his brother and bhabhi , about the kand.. Given all this, if family had not supported him, to avoid jail, he would have agreed to whatever terms Sarika put forth. Just like he agreed to all condition of Raman, last time. Including begging for forgiveness from Miku..😳.. Still would not grow up. I have to agree with HAA, the one thing that will make Romi sit up and think, is if something affects his family majorly because of his kand.

You started with a young man and a young gurl followed up by Romi and Sarika.
This Young man almost made the same mistakes as Romi, not in terms of the type of mistake but definitely in terms of last layer of mistake. The Layer - Ignoring and Hiding (Veil)
This young man ignored his family for a major chunck of 6 years, and hid beneath the fact of prospering in business world and wealth. He was in the same line when he called Commissioner of Police as police asked his family to cut down noise made at mid of night. He knew he had a backup of being successful and he used it without hesitation.
Until someone came to his life with a mirror in her eyes and voice. She changed him in tits and pieces or rather made him revisit the Happy Bhalla which was sitting in some dark corner of the world, unable to bear the light.
Coming to Romi and Sarika - Honestly this couple was meant to break! It was. Not because Romi had a frivolous past or Sarika being a subjected to Men's desire but because none of the two had a strong will to accept the real world.
Romi disguised himself by working with his elder brother while Sarika chose to disguise herself in responsibility. Both knew what was correct and incorrect but still blurred that line of difference.
Romi, as you pointed out Ruby, never took a stand for Sarika while Sarika never gave a thought that how could someone love her when he is not able to defend her character or she just ignored it.
After the unplanned speed breaker of pregnancy, they face the real world. Well Romi faces the real world as Sarika still confided in Ashok's help.
Raman giving the papers of court in Romi's hand was the knock to the door with Toshiji by his side. As the history of this show, Toshiji tends to understand things when they are blown out of proportion and here also I expect the same.
This track could make or break Romi while with Sarika, I am not sure that will she ever stand up for herself without people nudging her to do so.

And my favourite part - The Veil.

Well, Whatever happened in last two episodes almost made ishita come out of cocoon but again pushed back.
She may have given a him a doubt of benefit about moving ahead in life even after second chance convo but clearly the SHAQ word dissolved all the assumptions in her mind. She now firmly believes that He is still in his past, well one can't blam her as well as Raman, because what this man went through cannot be felt by anyone, not even Ishita.
When the basic statement of Ruhi ke Liye is not used anymore, the Veil will fly away itself.

Pheww.. Done.

Its not that Raman is incapable of fighting his battles .. its about Raman is NOT ALONE ... anymore ... thats probably what the writers are showing us from this ..

The man who for the last 6 years stood alone & fought .. today by just adding one element to his life .. ISHITA IYER .. has not only come into the bosom of his loving family ... he has suddenly got a coterie of people walking behind him ...

I loved that u equated the promo with the accident track .. or atleast the parallels that ran there .. i did mention just a couple of days back .. this would be the redemption track for Raman .. & yes this man had a lot to redeem himself for ...

I for one ... will never forget the episode when he walked out of the hotel with Shagun in his arms .. & did not even by a gesture acknowledge Ishita ... if not for anything else as a wife as woman i would want a redemption for this..

At that time she stood watching him hold his past close to his heart .. this time (as per promo .. not necessary the scene will play out in same way) he will have to see her clutch her past close to her heart ..

Both of them have moved away from the past in reality .. the past held no meaning for them .. but its the interpretation of the sight ..

theres a very interesting similarity & difference in the two .. hope someone can point that out .. if not will explain when the scene plays out ..

Angry young man, Raman Kumar Bhalla is nowhere lesser than his younger brother who is running away from the love of his life... his wife, Ishita. Romi did the same by using that unborn child as his shield and this man is using his past as a veil...
