The Darling Daddies of Television

Fathers have always been portrayed as strict, unapproachable individuals but in recent times, fathers have been redefined. These new age fathers are less of an authority figure and more of a friend. The lucky children who call these individuals their father are able to have a heart to heart with these men without any fear. Here's a look at television's darling daddies.

Raman Bhalla - Yeh Hai Mohabbatein

Initially, Raman was introduced to the audiences as a reckless father who could care less about his daughter Ruhi. Having lost his son in a custody case, Raman showed no desire of taking care of Ruhi but things changed when Ishita came into his life. Raman began to emote his inner most feelings, making it known to Ruhi how much he truly loves her. He even took a quiz to prove himself to his 6 year old daughter. At the end, Ruhi announced her father as the world's best dad!

Mr. Iyer - Yeh Hai Mohabbatein

As Ishita's sweet and sensitive father, Mr. Iyer wants the best for his daughter. Seeing how much she loves Ruhi, he agreed to get her married to Raman despite the fact that he is of a different ethnic background. He treats Ishita with respect while taking heed of her every need.
