wonderful post, you put into words what a ton of us are feeling. this is the first hindi serial that i am following, usually indian soaps are so formulaic and once the initial episodes are complete or the main storyline is resolved the interest is no longer there. this show has thus far risen above that. the lead pair and their chemistry is palpable. i also agree on the "supporting" cast. they are not supporting cast but main actors in their own right. most of the actors play their roles brilliantly and with subtle facial expressions or changes in body language that makes it more believable. i like that the other actors are not plastic.

Yeah true..It has such a brilliant ensemble cast..For instance, i adore Bala-Vandu..Most realistic & understanding couple on Telly 😆

Please! Let's gush more!
Thanks to the 7.30 slot and an injury to my leg, I got to watch almost all the telecasts of every episode.😃 But, it wasn't enough. I wanted more. I was worried there may be a change in the content to suit the audience at 7.30 and the writers put an end to it in the first episode. I don't know if cousins and their husbands really talk that way but it seemed so believable.
Coming to Raman. He has so many different kinds of smiles reserved for Ishita-one for when they are laughing at something together, one when he blushing admits liking things Ishita does and one when he teases her accompanied by that wink! My favouriate though was the jump yesterday. It was awesome.
I agree with you. Karan and Divyanka look like parents to Ruhi. The chemistry between the three is fantastic. Infact, the entire cast has a good equation. You will believe that they are a family.
P.S. I think Romi and Sarika will never come up again. Raman arranging a better job for Sarika marked the end of that jodi.😭

OMG THANK YOU WE needed a good, 'POSITIVE' and about 'On screen' topic 😆 And I am glad you did.

I completely agree about this man. YHM is a brilliant show. Although its from a PH I worry following for long. Touchwood and surprisingly its been very different from the rest of the shows. It's as close as fiction can get to reality. It has practical, reasonable issues being dealt with, which would be reasons enough to cope in real life too. It has leads that BOTH take story forward, both are dependable and both have content, unlike shows where the leading lady could do without a lead hero. 😆 I sometimes do get annoyed by Ishita's nosy nature, BUT she's still one of the best Indian soap leads. She works, she drives, she manages the house. And she isn't so much from the old-school of thought. I am glad she has it in her to call a spade, a spade and stand up to anything unjust. She challenges Raman with her wit against his sense of humour. Actually if she wouldn't give it back the way she did, Raman wouldn't probably enjoy the whole taunting and sarcastic jibe sessions so much. I think they both enjoy it 😆

Coming to Raman - I can't stop saying that. His character graph has been the most impressing one I've ever seen on any Indian show. His past is reason enough for him to be what he is. He isn't pained or stubborn or the way he is out of no where. There is a reason he's wary of taking a plunge into marriage, or falling in love and the viewer can relate to it. If he's stalling accepting his feelings now, you can understand why he's reluctant. His growth as a father, as a friend to Ishita and now as a husband. It's been shown so practically. It's never too dragged, not too fast and unbelievable. It feels right, it feels on time and perfect.

Raman and Ishita aren't the catch and fall, stare with gooey eyes and fall in love. They are parents before everything and that's been maintained. Only now when the kids are more settled is when their love track has been touched. And even that seems to be going at a tasteful pace.

I just hope that as every track on the show has had its charm, I hope even the jealousy one manages to retain the same. And not show something done to death.

P.S - I AGREE Karan and Divyanka and brilliant actors, both bring life to Raman Ishita. There's nothing I say that would praise them enough.

Oh i know..I was so bored of all the off screen drama 😆 I hate Ishita's mahanta & interfering nature but thats just one of the few things i dislike in YHM 😆 Raman is a rockstar man..Best male lead ever ..His progression, redemption, quirks, emotional vulnerability, sense of humor-its one hell of a character..So well written & KP plays the role to perfection..

Shagun? That woman is the stupidest person. I can't forget how she kept saying Raman is the most romantic guy. I mean, it is not necessary to stay with a guy just because he is romantic when she doesn't love him but the way Shagun said it didn't make me feel that way. Of late, she's giving off these "girly girly" vibes. I'll take it though because at last you are getting to see another side of her. This week gave her a lot of character.
Yes. I am 99% sure no more Romi and Sarika. 😭
Did you read that Raman is going to confess? I only saw the title of the article. I don't read spoilers. I only want him to realise his love. I don't want him to confess to Ishita as yet. It will be so much fun this way.

What do I say that hasn't been already said?😆
Both between us and on this post.

In your words, "Raman is a rockstar and Karan's portrayal of Raman is effin' brilliant!"

Great post yo! I had a smile throughout and could recall so many things we discussed panning over the whole post that you made.

Like Metamorphmagus said, that leap was too good. I didn't know Raman was athletic.

And yes, his smiles. 😳

P.S: Confessions? Except that you thought he was bad and now think the opposite, what else constitute as confessions? Wrong choice of title😛

Lol..Shagun's Raman was cheesy as eff..This Raman on the other hand is incredibly charming 😆 I have no idea what they are trying to do with Shagun..She has become this really sweet nanand all of a sudden 😆 Probably to make Mihir sympathize with her & do something drastic when Ashok breaks her heart 😆

Na i don read spoilers either..And yeah, i don want a confession..A self-introspection scene where Raman comes to terms with his feelings is more than enough at this point 😆
