OMG THANK YOU WE needed a good, 'POSITIVE' and about 'On screen' topic 😆 And I am glad you did.
I completely agree about this man. YHM is a brilliant show. Although its from a PH I worry following for long. Touchwood and surprisingly its been very different from the rest of the shows. It's as close as fiction can get to reality. It has practical, reasonable issues being dealt with, which would be reasons enough to cope in real life too. It has leads that BOTH take story forward, both are dependable and both have content, unlike shows where the leading lady could do without a lead hero. 😆 I sometimes do get annoyed by Ishita's nosy nature, BUT she's still one of the best Indian soap leads. She works, she drives, she manages the house. And she isn't so much from the old-school of thought. I am glad she has it in her to call a spade, a spade and stand up to anything unjust. She challenges Raman with her wit against his sense of humour. Actually if she wouldn't give it back the way she did, Raman wouldn't probably enjoy the whole taunting and sarcastic jibe sessions so much. I think they both enjoy it 😆
Coming to Raman - I can't stop saying that. His character graph has been the most impressing one I've ever seen on any Indian show. His past is reason enough for him to be what he is. He isn't pained or stubborn or the way he is out of no where. There is a reason he's wary of taking a plunge into marriage, or falling in love and the viewer can relate to it. If he's stalling accepting his feelings now, you can understand why he's reluctant. His growth as a father, as a friend to Ishita and now as a husband. It's been shown so practically. It's never too dragged, not too fast and unbelievable. It feels right, it feels on time and perfect.
Raman and Ishita aren't the catch and fall, stare with gooey eyes and fall in love. They are parents before everything and that's been maintained. Only now when the kids are more settled is when their love track has been touched. And even that seems to be going at a tasteful pace.
I just hope that as every track on the show has had its charm, I hope even the jealousy one manages to retain the same. And not show something done to death.
P.S - I AGREE Karan and Divyanka and brilliant actors, both bring life to Raman Ishita. There's nothing I say that would praise them enough.
