I did not like the rain sequence today. My 'not liking' has nothing to do with acting or the oomph factor. It has more to do with the way it was incorporated in to the series. It all started with sharing of 'Kuch Kuch hota hai' moments by family members and how Ishita did not have one and how shagun made it worse for Ishita by sharing her's.

The Kuch Kuch Hota moment would have been 'hot and spicy' if it was spontaneous and not planned. Today when Raman asked Ishita to join him to drop Vandana et al, it was written all over RKB's actions that he was going to give one'moment' for Ishita. Frankly, it felt more like a mercy he has done for Ishita than anything else. For me the 'balm moment' was more romantic that the rain sequence.

The moment wasnt about mercy as much as it was about hope... it was to let her know there is hope yet there in this marriage, in him - he needs time that is all.

Ishita is not very much into the dance in the beginning if you look at it carefully...but he keeps on bringing her back again and again...

They both know they still have a long way to go but with his persistence Raman somewhere showed he is willing to work for this marriage, because Ishita is dejected somewhere she always has believed Raman hasn't moved on from Shagun at all and today hearing Shagun narrate that moment takes a toll on her spirits too. Today he asked her to accompany him to make her understand... he wants to take this marriage, this relationship forward and while words could have been used for the same, actions have their own prominence.

Raman just let Ishita know she cant lose hope in him, he is getting there she needs to give him some time hence he was affected when applying the balm to her and on the table he strictly told her not to speak of this moment... if he wanted to give her a moment just for the sake of it - he wouldn't have said that but the fact he did speaks volumes... this was their first one - hence special and so should be only kept to themselves.

He may have stopped when he could have kissed her but there was no denying the sparks that flew tonight... had he went ahead and kissed her it would have been a purely physical, a sexual moment and Raman for all his anger issues is a sensitive man who wouldn't want to proceed in a relationship until he isn't ready completely - on an emotional level.

This moment was purely about making a breakthrough which happened. It is what makes Ishita say she needed this moment tonight, somewhere she needed to believe she hasn't surrendered to a life where there isn't even the faint hope of love in it.

Couldn't have explained it better. This moment was purely divine to me. Love Ishra and love Divan! Hats off to them!

to some level i agree- i thought that he caught ishita's mahanta bug. but next morning when he asked her to keep the moment between the two, it felt a bit more real. as in the whole thing started because ishita didn't have a kkhh moment to share. but after giving her the moment, he didn't want it to be shared.

Hey, Whatever i felt i will write. What ever Raman did to Ishita she did felt that it is caring but according to Raman it is caring plus romantic moments. IF you see the starting of the episode whenever IShita was saying caring. Raman expression were changing. Raman has fully accepted this relation and he is ready to express but due to his past bitter experience he is stopping himself. But i felt that by this small moment he wanted to convey Ishita that there is no place for Shagun in his life and nothing to get insecure.

I said in one of post last weak that CVS were focusing on Raman feelings and wanted them to show Ishita feelings towards Raman. I think this is one weak is the answer. They both have entered into comfort levels but just need to sit and express their levels to each other.

Today's Rain sequence it was needed reason it simple both should know that they fall for each others and ready to start new life.

I some how agree to @Rockstar it is to please the fans but may be some havoc comes in their life and again back to start.

Let see.

Thanks

Both Raman and Ishita have had tough relations and a hurtful past. That past somehow comes in the way and makes them reluctant to take their marriage towards a 'more' .. They want to take it ahead, but fear or rejection stops them. But when Raman heard Ishita say Raman wasn't romantic and Shagun deliberately uses the moment to flaunt a moment she's shared with Raman, Raman walks into the room. He's not seen Ishita's expression or reaction even once. But his heart knows that she must have felt slighted, rejected and disheartened on knowing that she might never get something like that in her marriage. When he walks out, he knows he has to do something, just something to assure her that he wants this to work out, him and her, their relation..And when he stops the car and sees the rain pouring he just knows what he has to do.

What he did was not an act of mercy. It was a gesture on his part to let her know that he cared for her, her feelings. And he really did want a life with her.

I somewhat agree with both samrudhi.r and EK Paheli analysis

At some point , I felt Raman was trying to make Ishita feel better and the dance was a planned one. This one gesture proved that he cares for Ishita but I dont think he is in love with her .It is very evident that Ishita has already fallen for Raman .

I am still not convinced with Raman's feelings for Ishita it might be because I have a soft corner for Ishita's character as I feel she is the one who has suffered the most and is still suffering .

I was disappointed with his reaction when Shagun was flaunting her so called KKHH moment infront of Ishita ..Adi was not there ..he could have handled it better than walking away .He gave one more opportunity for Shagun to belittle Ishita .He was expecting Ishita to be possessive about him when she brought Shagun home but he has never done anything to help Ishita realize her importance in his life .
