i too think that when Raman walked out the room he had a plan. but that sounds completely normal, sometimes we need a moment to collect our thoughts and decide what we want. he needed Shagun's narrative to realise that he is coasting at the moment. he need a kick start to actually become romantic RKB. even in real life when a husband/ wife takes their spouse for a romantic dinner/ picnic, spa treatment...its all preplanned romance. but thats not a bad thing. you need some planning and some spontaneity

i dont agree-my pov:

1-if u see yesterday's episode-there was a scene where everyone told about their KKHH moment and raman looked at everyone and kept thinking. i already felt yesterday that he is planning smthg. but shogun was just the drive to do it n not the reason.

2-during the car drive today, he didn't want to stop the car, BUT ishu. if that was planned (due to apshagun) then he would have stopped the car himself, which he did BUT only after ishu told him to do so.

n the most important thing is, if he did it because of shogun-he would have done it infornt of her, especially to show her, that he romances with his wife. but he didn't instead he did everything with ishu alone and even told her to kept it a "secret". he wanted to make her happy, as he felt her pain n sadness-n i do believe that if he wasn't in love with ishu he wouldn't have cared, if she was hurt by apshagun's word or not

My personal view point when husband and wife share same bed and same blanket then only Kuch Kuch hota hai ... others wise...nothing ,still they are not sharing same bed though Ruhi is in other room. ,Dance in the road in public place is not the proper place for Kuch Kuch hota hai..this is not so much romantic ,my thought if Raman can dance in front of Shaugan then that will be a good answer...

OK Well I was "expecting " a spontaneous, face off in their bedroom later or even in the balcony or on the bench downstairs

Raman prodding her asking her "WHY she doesnt look happy?" and such and slowly get it out of her that she HATES the idea of another woman touching him

The rain sequence was not "necessary"

But agree with Aani that It was awesome for him to have done that for her, in the context that HE CARES FOR HER FEELINGS.

I liked her childish "accounting" later "Mujhe mera moment mil gaya"

In that one moment ishita seemed very child like...

About HOW she reacted, and if the response had a shortfall, I have always firmly believed KP hits it out of the park in romance scenes. For someone that doesnt care for romantic love stories, he is mindblowingly natural.

He was a masterful lover, aggressive, possessive and passionate SEXY AS HELL

DT lacks in this department... maybe she is shy, embarrassed... who knows... have no clue, but mostly she has her eyes shut... through the sequence. In the shower she was looking at him like "Whats wrong with you"

While I would have been happy with a conversation on the bench

I am a sucker for romance... so I lapped it up with joy

I will take a unnecessary rain dance over sooraj poornima or sanjana

The worst cast of any show ive watched

They ignited the screen... and there is no better couple on TV in India Today...

How i saw it was raman took ishita out to talk and make her feel better. Raman wasn't going to stop the car,ishita made him do that and than we had the awkward silence,she is hurt,he knew that and the idea came to dance in the rain ,i am sure he remembers she loves rain and she needed this, both making new memories together.

Raman just let Ishita know she cant lose hope in him, he is getting there she needs to give him some time hence he was affected when applying the balm to her and on the table he strictly told her not to speak of this moment... if he wanted to give her a moment just for the sake of it - he wouldn't have said that but the fact he did speaks volumes... this was their first one - hence special and so should be only kept to themselves.

He may have stopped when he could have kissed her but there was no denying the sparks that flew tonight... had he went ahead and kissed her it would have been a purely physical, a sexual moment and Raman for all his anger issues is a sensitive man who wouldn't want to proceed in a relationship until he isn't ready completely - on an emotional level.

This moment was purely about making a breakthrough which happened. It is what makes Ishita say she needed this moment tonight, somewhere she needed to believe she hasn't surrendered to a life where there isn't even the faint hope of love in it.
