she has brought this out a lot of times & each time he has been mum about it .. but in the case of ishita . the moment he asked about Subbu she denied having feelings .. & in very crisp & clear words ...
He had feelings...But that was hate which prevented him from moving on... I just can't believe that a man can still love a woman who betrayed him and left his 6 month old kid to lead a better life with a man after mocking his love for her...
When Ishita asked him to throw that hate, Shagun went out... Now, he doesn't affect him like before...

Been silently reading all the posts here and my two cents:
Up until know it has always been moving forward in the relationship "sirf Ruhi ke liye" from two people joined in marriage as a compromise to cordial inhabitants in the same room to friends..sab kuch Ruhi ke liye not for them as man and woman...During Accident track and Adi track it was a step in the direction of caring for and doing things for each other ... but the lines of communication as far as THEY are concerned and THEIR MARRIAGE / RELATIONSHIP has never been truly open...Ishita has told him clearly that her feelings for Subbu have "gone" and that she is happy with Ruhi and Raman and that is her future...Ishita has taken that first step to move forward in their marriage NOT for Ruhi's sake but for THEM...
HOWEVER, Raman has never as you clearly stated Ruby, EXPLICITLY STATED that he is OVER SHAGUN...Ishu in that convo they had at the friends party did say in not so many words that hate is the flip side of love and therefore to let it go but in order to solidify the doubt in Ishu's head he has to state that HE IS OVER SHAGUN..NO HATRED NO LOVE!
Its a given that shagun will always be part of their lives because she is the mother of Adi and Ruhi but because of Ishu's own infertility she feels slightly insecure and needs him to TELL HER that he has moved away from Shagun and is ready for a future with her and to make this marriage a success for them not just "sirf Ruhi ke liye".
At the end of the track I also see Ishra coming closer and solidifying their marriage by consumating it and confessing their love for one another. A good heart to heart about the past is STRONGLY needed between the two before that happens. Would love such an emotional scene from the two!
