Part 3:The strain down the lane, do u love me??

Ishita wanted Raman to give in to his needs and take the first step before she could confess her love for him. It was not that she was giving her ego a boost, but just that she had a plan in her mind to confess her love for him which would sync only when he took the first step. Ok in a way it was her giving her ego a boost. Why were they even playing this game.. She had no idea, she should have stopped when it started itself. Now it had gone too long to put a stop to it and she did not want to lose. She was competitive after all. But it was killing her. She had to pull up her socks even more higher to maintain a sense of integrity in herself and not grab Raman in her first sight and give him a nice long kiss, till he gave up and took her in his arms. She would still end up winning she thought smiling into herself. Why did her husband have to be so handsome, she thought sighing. He was giving a confident shake to one of his acquaintances, how she wished the hand he was shaking with was on her exploring her, pleasuring her. "Ishu! You will drive yourself crazy" she spoke out aloud trying to get her head to behave and not give into her body's primal needs.

Raman had made himself busy with the guests in the party to keep his head and hands in control. He could feel her look bore into him, he was tempted to turn back and give a flying kiss with a wink but stopped himself. She was teasing him endlessly, next it was his turn to put her on the edge. He ached to hear her say that she loved him too. Something told him that the time was not too far. But the wait did not seem bearable anymore. It had been almost been two weeks since he had confessed his love for her. And he knew she loved him too but then why was she hesitating from saying it back to him. Was she scared, was she unhappy? Did she accept his love only as a part of compromise? All these questions were strangling him from inside. "Ishita, you do not get to play two games at once sweetheart.. I am gonna make u give in" he promised to himself. He excused himself from the circle of guests and went to their bedroom with a plan in his head.

Ishita saw him go towards their bedroom. She wondered what had happened suddenly. Was he ok, she thought getting worried. Maybe I should go and check once, or maybe I should just wait for him here rather, but what if something's actually wrong, she thought as she got up and walked towards their room.

The lights in the room were out, the only way to see around the room was the light coming out from the slight gap in the bathroom door were the lights were on. He was not to be seen in room so she went towards the washroom door. "Raman!" she called out for him but there was no response from the other end. She got worried and went inside the washroom looking for him. "Raman! Aap yahan ho?" she tried again but there was no response this time either. She turned back startled as she felt a hand on her back.

"Chilpakali" he said pointing to the floor. "Kuch bhi! Don't try to scare me and get me in your arms.. its an old track which won't work on me at all"

"Ok" he said coolly walking out of the washroom and locking the door from outside. "Raman open the door, ye kya bachpana hai.. we have a party going on outside.. and tum ye kya.." she stopped her ranting mid-sentence and diverted her attention to something moving on the floor. Ayyo Murugan, it indeed was a lizard, and it was looking at her in a way that she was its prey.

"Ammaaa..!! please Raman darwaja kholo.. I am sorry I did not listen to u please open the door please" she shouted as tears rolled down her cheek due to the fear of the reptile.

"I will let u out only if u agree to three of my wishes" he said chuckling as he heard her fear. "No I won't" she said even through her state of fear.

"Ok then I am going, u can spend time with chipku then, maybe even give him a lecture" he said trying very hard to control his laughter.

"Ok baba ok I agree, abhi please aap darwaja kholo" she said banging on the washroom door.

He opened the door to let her out. She literally ran out like a scared kitten. He would have liked it better if she ran into his arms hugging him, but koi nai he would have that wish of his fulfilled very soon he thought in appreciation of his own idea.

"So firstly u need to change your dress, you can drape ur kapde ke than if u want.. but the dress is coming off" He said adding a bit of passion to the last line. She looked up at him still looking scared. He wanted to go and hug her and comfort her, but he was here with her here and till he was around there would be nothing that could ever touch his wife. So he let the yearning away.

"Ok" she said giving up. "Wats the second wish?" she enquired. "You change with me looking" he announced proud of himself.

"What no!! I am not doing that.. You can't take advantage of the situation Raman.. You can't make me do something that I don't want to..Aap aisa.." she was saying as she felt his finger on her lips silencing her. She felt a stupid urge to suck his finger in but brushed that thought away instantly.

"Are u done with your lecturing?? Kitna pakati ho yar tum..I was joking not about the first wish but the second one.. My second wish is to see u wearing a blue saree" he said letting his finger slip away from her lips. How he wished his Jhansi ki rani was wild enough to suck his finger in when he had placed it on her lips but she was his innocent angel.

"And the third one" she asked eyeing him suspiciously.

Well the third ones more of a question than a wish, so u get to answer it for me" he stated.

"Kya sawaal hai pucho" she said confidently, she was a 98.5% girl after all she could answer any of his questions.

"Do u love me?" his lips formed the question the earnestness of which showed in his eyes. It was such an honest question. She wanted to kiss him as an answer to his question.

"I will you answer your question tonight Raman, along with fulfilling the rest of your wishes" she said. Her hands went up touching his cheek, assuring him. He just bent his head giving her a small yet lingering peck on her forehead. "You know I do right!" he whispered, walking out leaving her alone in the room.

She stood there for a long time looking at open door of their room, from where he had just walked out. Did she play in too much with him she thought, he deserved the answer to that question and he had been waiting patiently for a very long time. Well she would answer in a way making it worthy for both of them. She could literally feel his touch on her; he had that kinda of power over her. She closed her eyes thinking about tonight.

No passionate scenes in this part, but will make up for it in the next part.. Hope u like it guys 😊

Just read all 3 parts. I like how Raman and Ishita are teasing each other to see who will lose control first. I'm looking forward to seeing how Ishita is going to confess her love in the next update.
