A tear fell from Raman's eyes and it was induced by his son. For once he could say his and no-one else's son. He smiled and cupped half of Adi's face in his one hand as his other hand was smothered in the blood he lost from fighting with Ashok. He hugged Adi tight and replied,

"Haan puttar"

"Dad, I was wrong, I was very wrong. I mistreated you, I never thought about the fact that-" Adi hesistated to release the words from his mouth.

"Bolo!" Raman exclaimed, in disbelief his son would ever repeat it again.

"Aur yeh baat, the fact that app, mere such-"

Ashok raised his hand against Raman and Ishita flung herself in the way grabbing his hand and slapping him full force back, leaving a red hand mark on his face.

"Kese himat! You stupid woman, you don't know what I am capable of!" she screamed as he pushed her against the wall. Seeing this Raman fumed. Ashok pressed his hands tighter against Ishita and the rest of the family screamed at Ashok to stop as Ishita began to look faint. Raman grabbed a chair and launched himself off of Suraj's stomach, Suraj yelped and Raman smashed the chair off Ashok's head. Ashok fell to the ground unconscious. Shagun dragged him around the table away from the rest of the family. Romi and Mihir dragged Suraj away and threw him out of the house. Ashok lay with his eyes only slightly opened and tried to get him to attack Shagun but she slapped him hard and kicked him down with her heel. He held his shoulder in pain and was not able to get up. Shagun picked up a matchbox from the table.

"Mihika, take Adi inside." Shagun said surprisingly calmly with an evil look on her face and Mihika instead took Ruhi from her room and took Adi and her inside the Iyer house.

Shagun lit the match and everyone looked at Shagun.

"Dekh Shagun, match choro! Tum buche ke ma hoon, you can't do this." Mrs Bhalla yelled.

Raman held Ishita's hand as he could sense her fear. She stared in to his eyes and they had a conversation through their eyes, reaching the conclusion that they should stay back and not get involved in any criminal action. Shagun threw the lit match upon Ashok and he yelled at her to stop. She then threw another and he burned bright. His skin melted and he turned white. He was dead. Mihir realising the dangers of the fire ran behind Ashok, and threw water over him, extinguishing the fire. Shagun fell to the ground realising the possible consequences of her actions. She weeped and no one had any idea as to what to do. Ishita threw herself upon Raman, scared. She took him over to the Iyers house. She realised they could be held for criminal actions and have to risk their custody over Ruhi so took Ruhi and a willing Adi and ran. Funnily enough Raman had been planning a holiday for them, much to Ishita's delight. Therefore his, Ishita's and Ruhi's stuff were packed in the car. Likewise he grabbed Adi's suitcase which Ashok had threw out of the car. Raman chucked it in the boot of the car and they drove away clueless as to what they should do.

The police arrive at the Bhalla house and realise the conditions are intense and so they draw their weapons and send in backup to handcuff everyone. There was so many legal violations here: abuse, murder, theft, criminal damage, and many more so this would be a long battle for the Bhalla's that there was no escaping from.

Precap: The police take everyone in for individual questioning. Raman, Ishita, Ruhi and Adi reach an airport and Ishita looks at Raman with discontent in her eyes.
