Part 9: Wedding

Next few days were full of wedding preparations. Now Mr Iyer also has agreed to the situation. He started feeling good for Raman but was apprehensive because of his conservative nature. Finally he convinced himself that it was for Ishitha's good.

Raman and Ishitha start feeling little awkward and their interaction between then start reducing. They speak to children and speak to each other only if there is a necessity.

Mrs Bhalla and Iyer consult their respective astrologers and pandit and finalize on muhurat. They decide to do a very simple wedding as it's a 2^nd marriage for both of them.

The wedding is performed in a temple. Raman and Ishitha perform all the rituals religiously. Their children look at them performing the rituals. They get wed and do their grahapravesh in Bhalla house. The grahapravesh is not only for Ishitha, its for Adhi also. Mrs Bhalla welcomes Adhi wholeheartedly and the Iyers become delighted that their daughter and grandson is in safe hands and leave.

Raman takes Adhi to his room. He had ensured that it was very much similar to what he had earlier. Adhi is surprised to see the room decorated and the amount of care Raman has to make it the way he likes. Raman was helping Adhi to get settled in his new room while Ishitha was having animated conversation with Ruhi. Rinki and Simmi guided Ishitha to her room. Ishitha was wondering where to keep her things as the whole room was very scattered. She didn't dare to touch any of the things of Mr. RKB and silently walked her way to Ruhi's room and was with her. Till evening it was getting settled and Mrs Bhalla showing her the important things in various places and having conversations with her sister in laws. In the evening Mr Bhalla called out ishitha and Raman and mentioned that they would have their wedding night in a hotel and they have been booked a honeymoon suite. Both Raman and Ishitha were astonished. Ishitha didn't dare to talk anything while Raman immediately mentions.

R: papa , this marriage is only for the children, we don't need to go the hotel. Please cancel the booking.

Mr Bhalla: I know you people married for your children, but I want both of you to give a fair chance to this relationship. You will have to go and that's final

I: Hesitantly, Papaji Adhi & Ruhi I don't know how they will react if we leave them alone on the first day of our marriage. Please it would be good if we don't go.

Mr Bhalla: Ishitha, thanks for accepting me as your papaji. When you are ready to give other relationship a chance why are you hesitant for Raman. I can understand your apprehension, but you will have to go let me convince Adhi and Ruhi.

Raman and Ishitha look at each other and are embarrassed. They leave to Adhi and Ruhi respectively. Only to see Mr and Mrs Bhalla talking to the children.

(Raman is listening to this)Mr Bhalla: Adhi , are you happy that you have a papa now.

A: Sorry , I will take some more time to accept these relationships. I need to know you all more.

Mr Bhalla : I agree Adhi, like how you need to know us, your parents also need to know each other. So we wanted them to go out today and stay overnight . they would come back tomorrow. Are you ok with it?

A: Oh that sounds good. Iam excited. Let me go and ask amm.

In the mean while Mrs Bhalla is convincing Ruhi and Ishitha is listening to this.

Mrs Bhalla: Ruhi , mera bachha. Tum kush ho Ishima agga gayi ghar( Ar you happy, Ishima came home)

Ru: Hai dadi. Mai ajj unke saath sovungi( Yes, I will sleep with her today)

M B: Today papa and mama will go out. They have to stay in a place as papa has some party. They will come back tomorrow. You can be with them from tomorrow.

Ru: Oh I see. Gr8 mama and papa are going for a party. Fine I will sleep with them from tomorrow. Now Iam going to ishima.

Raman and Ishitha are left with no option but to go. They all complete their dinner and get ready to leave. Raman is in shervani and ishitha is dressed in a kanchivaram saree. Mihika, Mihir, Simmi and Parmeet go to leave them. They are teasing Raman and Ishitha. Parmeet is teasing Raman, however Mihir is not daring to rease Raman. Ishitha is being badly teased by all the women. Finally they leave them in their suite and leave. Ishitha is looking through the windows at the lawn of the hotel while Raman had ordered for drinks and watching match. There was absolute silence for an hour. Both were expecting the other to speak while they were not speaking. Finally Raman walks up to Ishitha and joins her to watch the lawns of the hotel. He initiates the conversation with Ishitha

R: What are you seeing?

I: Hmm I was just looking at the lawns. The green grass with those dim lights looks too good.

R: ya, why don't you change. We can sleep. Iam tried had to wake up so early today.

I: You also change , even iam tried lets sleep. But where

R: Bed, where else?

I: no R...raman there is only one

R: Ishitha, we have been through a relationship already. Have you not slept with your husband on the same bed without having any relationship? Was it that every day you were intimate? I don't believe in all this. We are matured adults. We know each other's limitations. I guess we can sleep in the same bed. If you feel still it's not possible. I can go to the couch in the guest area of the suit.

I: Fine Raman. Iam ok with you sleeping here. I will go and chance and come.

She moves to the bag they had brought, in fact mihika and simmi had packed the back. Ishitha is shell shocked after seeing the bag. Raman takes his cloths and leaves.

Raman has a shorts and a sleeve less T shirt,, while Ishitha only has a sexy lingerie in the bag. Ishitha is in a fix. She is not able to understand what to wear.

Raman comes back and surprised to see Ishitha standing in the same position.

R: Abhi kya dress change karne ke liye muhurat nikalna hai?( Must we take out a murath for changing dress)

I: No Raman iam fine. I will sleep in this saree only

R: Are you out of your mind. Go change. He insists angrily.

Ishitha left with no option goes and changes. It's short sleeveless satin lingerie till knee. It has a transparent over coat.

When she comes out of the washroom. Raman is awestruck and unable to take the gaze off her. Raman self talk. Yeh behanji ethni sexy bhi dik sathi hai. No wonder she didn't want to change. He was losing his control badly. He felt if he was here, he might do something beyond his limits. He takes his eyes off her and says he needs to go and have a drink and leaves to the bar. He thinks to himself that taunting and staying away from her is the only way to escape from the JSKR beatings. Ishitha walks up to the bed covers herself with the blanket completely, thinks to herself. This Mihika embarrassed me like anything. Why did Raman go to the bar now. He was tried and wanted to sleep. He was wearing such a small shorts and he went out in that dress. He was looking so hot. I don't know how many girls are going to be behind him. Thinking so she drifts into peaceful sleep.

Raman comes back in a very drunk state. Ishitha wakes up with sound and helps him to sleep in the bed. Then Ishitha comes and sleeps to her side of the bed. They get back home.

Ishitha takes up the responsibility of the house well. She takes good care of Adhi and Ruhi. She had instructed Raman not to come home drunk, else she would not let the kids meet him. She was mingling well with people at home. Adhi also starts feeling comfortable with others. Next week Subbu's custody case comes up and Ishitha and Raman get custody of Adhi. All are happy. Ishitha realizes the problem with Raman drifting from Ruhi and decides to bring them close to eachother.

Part 10: Adhi's papa - Raman & I love my daughter too

Adhi is receiving the award, teary eyed and calls out for Raman my papa on stage and dedicates the award to Raman. Ishitha is delighted and full of tears in her eyes.

Ruhi Hugs Raman and he hugs her back and pecks her cheeks. Ishitha is looking on.

Nice update. I loved the way u tackled the issue of sleeping on same bed. That is how mature adults should behave. Obviously they aren't teenagers unable to control their hormones.
