Raman telling about Ishita about the rule, more than jealousy over Subbu's mention, it looked to me a way of saying Ishita was someone to be appreciated and Subbu had been a fool not to, in short telling her he did. Beautiful! :)

@red - yep, she now sees through him which explains why she is all smiles even when he goes on taunting her like recently in the scene where he fed her apple or helped drape her saree, he was being himself but she saw he cares for her beneath all that rudeness

@blue - wants and needs are not the same thing after all 😳

@pink - yep, it was him using subtext; he cant not tell her what she deserves to hear but also, being himself cannot bring himself to be explicitly vocal when it comes to feelings 😳
