Oh God, how I was missing the old spark in YHM. I am not going to lie, I did not start watching the show because I wanted to watch a love story. The shipping just came because of the DiVan chemistry being so on point. The real reason I watched the show was because of RuhiTa and the mismatched family dynamics. Every member of the ensemble cast is perfect in their roles, and every member of the family is endearing in their own way. Today, I felt happy seeing Simmi too, she was so excited. Whatever she is, she still loves HER family, even if Ishita doesn't figure into it just yet. I would love to have seen IshRa alone on a picnic, but I don't think any amount of romance would make up for watching Toshiji and Madhuji so excited in their ufff so sexy dresses, or Ruhi and Shravan so happy. Romi had his mixed tape, and even Mihika and Mihir will be joining them.
The point is, a lot of other shows on television, run because of the lead couple's romance, and tend to fall flat after a while because there is nothing more to offer once it has reached a point of saturation. YHM is different. The show's USP is the wonderful Kurkure family members. Even if the romance angle was missing from the last half of the episode today, I didn't mind. Kudo's to the writers for creating characters, and a family that is so so sooo endearing. It gives the title of the show a whole new meaning. This isn't just the mohabbatein of Ishita and Raman, this is a show about the love between individual members of such a wonderful family. I know a lot of people here like the romance, and I do to. But for me above romance, is the genuine happiness of a family who really does deserve it. 😊

Agree whole heartedly! It is indeed a perfectly mis-matched family that works so well together! Also my reason this show is so dear to me; of course IshRa have an indisputable chemistry that makes the simplest scene resonate with their presence, but the family dynamics plays an important role in making the show stand apart. Kudos to the creatives and the cast for giving us something so unique!
Love the title of the post 😊 Yep it is good to have our Kurkure family back 😆 😆
