What is stopping Raman from taking Ishita into confidence?

I think the writers have made a mockery out of Raman Ishita relationship.
I can't seem to imagine what in the world might prevent Raman from being frank with Ishita...Based on his current situation of Ishita finding a lawyer against Shagun - doesn't his being frank with her help better?
I mean in the past Ishita has been so understanding ..It was she who told Raman to behave cordially with Shagun ..she never once has interfered in his relationship with Adi ...in fact she encourages him to stay in touch with his past...she even trusted him on a picnic with his ex-wife! ..how on earth can raman tell her that she doesn't know the "whole truth" and then not tell her the rest o the truth! This seems completely uncharacteristic...
I mean if he knows Adi is the culprit - Ishita will be more than understanding and take back the case!
If Shagun has promised Raman to share custody with Adi, if she's freed of any charges, then again by sharing that with Ishu ..Ishu will back off the case...
If Shagun is threatening Raman not to tell Ishita anything about the accident, then he could always "pretend" with Shagun that he hasn't told her anything but in fact tell Ishu and tell her to keep it to herself..Ishita will do that too!
I mean what the heck ...he expected her to tell him about param sexually abusing her ...and now he doesn't share anything with her???
what kind of BS writers are showing ..
We know from spoilers that Ishu tells shagun in the elevator that she will take back her case if she apologizes...but Shagun doesn't ...why not??? doesn't she just want to be freed from any jail time...why she wants to take her chances in court??? ...
It's getting too melodramatic ...cant imagine that this was the same Ishra that kept teasing each other with their nok-jhoks ...just because the actors do a splendid job with whatever scenes u make them act doesn't mean the storyline can go haywire and lose all semblance of connectivity to the past portrayal of characters...
If the don't give any valid explanation as to why Raman was holding back the whole truth from Ishita, I just hope at least they don't show her apologizing to him..
Bottomline of my post is :Raman adores Adi, Ishita knows that ..and Raman knows that Ishita will understand that ..What then is stopping him from telling her the whole truth????

Exactly. Ishita is well aware of how much Raman loves Adi and punishing a minor is not her cup of tea.If Raman already knows Adi is the culprit, it doesn't make any sense. This accident track has become a big joke.

Btw, Is Adi surely the culprit - which epi showed Raman coming to know that Adi is the culprit ..Actually I've been super busy at work and don't get time to watch the epis at home as kids are on summer break so busy with them ..but I do read the written updates...I thought ppl were only speculating about Adi being the true culprit ..is it out officially as well?

vandana i wrote this in other thread

don't get it .

Ishita told Raman how could u keep things from me .

Why , the same way YOU kept things from him and were meeting Simmi Parmeet on the sly and helping Parmeet . Today he is helping Shagun .

Is it so unbelievable that one can lie for a nanand one barely knows but one cannot lie for a son , coz he believes the future of the son may get affected ?😕

If YOUR mother was ready to take case back if it was Parmeet and she did not want a family scandal why would Raman not want to do the same for Adi ?😕

Moreover after all these big talks , she , according to spoilers is ready to take case back if Shagun apologises but is not ready to dismiss it if the reason is a son losing his sole custodian mother ...Shagun CAN do fake apologies but this genuine intricate complex reason is not good enough for her ?

Is not it like the Parmeet case where big drama was done to put him behind bars and later she was only insisting he should be given gifts and rasams with him must be done as he is after all Simmi's husband ?

Perv is enjoying .😆

Yesterday she rode a moral high horse with Ashok , today with Raman . How can facts like

him putting his jeeju in jail

looking after her mother

be nullified as 'bharosa toot gaya' coz in this particular case he is thinking from Adi's angle too ?

Is 'Bharosa' contingent on one occurence or an overall experience ? If so , how do u still have bharosa on Romi who did MMS on Mihika AND got ur sister and jeeju kicked out from jobs ?

I myself said Raman must be slapped for the PICNIC nonsense

but for suppressing the case , thats a totally different and grey area .

When i watched today's episode i felt , his fear of she not even listening to him was not exactly wrong was it ? Yesterday she was not ready to listen to Ashok today to Raman's side of the story ...she moralizes and does not exactly listen to your side of the story .

Ashok was fabulous with Shagun today .

Red answers your query perhaps .

It happens only in serial's... To create drama they show such non sense things...

My point exactly !
I don't think Raman as yet knows that Adi is d culprit ... He thinks that he is shielding Adi by saving Shagun ... He is doing all these because he doesn't want Adi to be separated from his mother ... But still I feel that he should have confided in Ishita - n appealed to her compassion n kindness ... He should have known her well enough by now to feel that she would understand his dilemma ... 😕

A very good post.
Raman himself said to shagun his wife is mature and she will understand, that he knows her.
Its all drama and cvs want us to be ignorant for the sake of drama.
Well done for the great performance from Dt and Kp no matter what script they get 😃

But Raman said to Ishita that she didn't know the truth. So it looks like Raman knew Adi was the culprit.

If that is d case, then it would have been even easier for him to convince her ... she would no way have wanted Adi to be brought to justice ... she was asking for d truth n he was chanting d mantra of 'majboori' ... In d name of drama d CVs actually took away from Raman's intelligence n shrewdness judgment ... 😕
