As for ananya, she will be fine without parmeet. she is growing up in a healthy environment with a doting family but is that a same case with adi? he is already severely damaged by his parents' messy divorce, on top of that he was raised in a toxic environment which damaged him further. in all this, shagun is the only adult in his life who he finds solace in, if that sense of security is taken away then what will happen? Raman was proven an abusive father in court, and adi hates him so they will think twice before handing him over to raman. that leaves him in the uncaring hands of ashok, and raman does not want that for his son.If this was only about justice, then he would hand shagun over to the police no question asked but this effects adi as well. as shown previously, raman feels guilty about adi being caught between his parents during their bitter divorce and custody battle
I disagree with you. If Raman feels Shagun will be a good influence onAdi even after knowing what she did then going by that logicParam will be a good father to Ananya too.No matter how small the child is the kid needs a father and no one replace that void in ones life.IHe is a hypocrite .he is ready to punish anyone including his brother but when it comes to his own son he becomes selfish and every criminal is a son or daughter to someone and will have children. Can we overlook all their mistake? If he is really a good father then he should set right examples for his son and he should try to get Adi out of this mess by fighting for his custody This would have been an perfect opportunity to do but he gave Adi an impression that no matter what mistake he commits he will protect him.Adi was one of the reason to protect Shagun...he himself has soft corner for her otherwise he would not have reciprocated her hug.For him Shagun and their son matter the most.He values Shagun n the called memories but conveniently forgets the good times spent with his daughter n his present wife.

Pomegranate,
I disagree he is being biased and is being a hypocrite.. Feeling guilty is not an atonement !!
