Edited: thank you very much for providing an English translation. It is very generous thing to do so thanks again. I am glad that you did that otherwise I would have missed out another masterpiece written by you.
This dua had touched my heart, when I read it, I could imagine Raman (in particular) and Ishita experiencing and thinking these exact words in their mind, heart and soul for one another. I loved the way CVs are developing Ishra relationship, they are in love with each other but remain unaware of their feeling. Small steps have indicated many more will happen their relationship, it's becoming one of the strongest relationship between a husband and wife in television history since they create the realism and do feel some strange and unique connection with other. Can't tell the difference between Ishra and Divan. With Ishra, their day doesn't end until they have spoke, banter, argue and see each other.

Your Drabble was perfect it's described their relationship very well. It's complemented very well with their night walk scene. Big applause to you Aani for writing such a Masterpiece Drabble 👏 I am off to revise and thanks again for the English translation 👍🏼

Hey Mary thank you so much for this sweet comment and for making me realize a translation was needed in fact for members who may not be well versed with Hindi. I have tried my best to translate the drabble the best I can, though I cant say I am satisfied with it perhaps because here and there not much but a word or two that I have used are in Urdu - a language which has a sweetness of its own.😳 Words like dua, arz and Inaayat

@bold - I cant add another word to that - its like you have read my mind and put it here so will second that

Thank you once again for this comment Mary and best of luck for your exams 👍🏼😃

Aani! I love you!🤗❤️
You know, I was just listening to Sanam Puri's cover of Duaa from Shaghai. 😆
Please don't call this a drabble. Such beautiful poetry. Simple words to convey something so complex.👏 I have no words. I want to praise you a lot. But, i just can't think of anything to say. Speechless, really!
You are so right. This couple makes you believe in the concept of love and soulmates.

EDITED...

Aani,

One doesnt call this piece of work a drabble. Its a ghazal. One of the sweetest forms of poetry that expresses a wistful nature of a lover who is ready to lose everything for his/her love, an expression of love without being overtly cheerful. I rest my case 😊

Lucky god calling this a ghazal is too big a compliment thank you gosh ☺️I dunno what to say seriously its something that just came out of nowhere I used to pen things like these like a decade ago but lost that touch somehow... nothing would come to me and today this came like in five minutes out of nowhere

@bold - for this very reason I was apprehensive even about posting this... if you read carefully this is a depicting a last wish of a dying person who is ready to forsake heaven if it means another glimpse of his/her love... I somehow saw this as the last moments of someone who has lived a happy life and in death too is happy - since it means a chance for reunion with their true love 😳

Here you go... I have been sitting on this one for 2 months. and I cannot believe I found the apt post to put this in... i hope you agree :)

"Falling in love is very real, but I used to shake my head when people talked about soul mates, poor deluded individuals grasping at some supernatural ideal not intended for mortals but sounded pretty in a poetry book. Then, we met, and everything changed, the cynic has become the converted, the sceptic, an ardent zealot." - E.A. Bucchianeri, Brushstrokes of a Gadfly

Thank you so much Lucky this was such a beautiful quote! ... I hope it applies to me someday... wont mind losing my skepticism 😳
